There are several things wrong with OLX and maybe thats OLX fault because they dont make sellers give detailed listings. Sellers have to know that when you are selling on the internet that the buyer does not have the item in their hands and so they cant see it in real life, so it is up to the seller to give as much detail as possible regarding the item. For instance how big is the item, how tall, wide, depth. Are there any faults with the item, cracking, missing pieces, and broken pieces and do not try to disguise the faults or make light of the faults. Everyone hates surprises especially when they arent good ones. Is the item working, if its not why and especially important are you prepared to ship the item or not and how much will it cost the buyer if they are in mainland Portugal! I personally have sold and purchased items online for the last 22 years and if you dont ship then your target market becomes that much smaller that you would be better off advertising it in your local lidl!

Yesterday I purchased a crystal chandelier it wasnt particularly expensive but it was really dirty and not in good condition which was ok I could clean it up, the seller said it needed restoration but the chandelier had obviously been dropped from a great height because 1 out of every 10 crystals was ok the other 9 were broken, cracked, pieces missing from the crystals basically it was worthless I might be able to cannibalize parts off it but I certainly couldnt restore it!

OLX was created by the REPUBLICA dos GATUNOS De 1974 to give meals ( another one)to their sick corrupted families&friends.It so overloaded with advertisements that any page becomes heavy and difficult to surf . Buyers can't leave feedback to good sellers w/ out the corrupted OLX sending you an email?That is total 25 de Abril de 1975 tyranny created by communist APU in 1910. Some Scumbags don't even know how to respond to an item that is for sale...I already blocked dozens of potential subhumans that have nothing to do but going around faking interest on items up for sale.I think most of them are freaky OLX "employees" Canalha as they are called in portuguese.
Pretty sick to trade online in the mega corrupted Republica dos gatunos de 1974.You probably get 10 out 100 that are genuine buyers .

They send emails with discounts and when we pay they are not applied and we pay thr whole price without any discount.

It's OLX PORTUGAL, so it works fantastically if you're IN PORTUGAL. You can arrange to meet in person (if the buyer/seller is located nearby) or you can use the Registered/Tracking mail system provided by the Portuguese postal office (aka CTT). Payment should ALWAYS be made immediately, and BEFORE item is shipped. Portugal offers it's own PayPal style app called MBWay which provides for a safe & secure transaction. A recent make-over to the site also improved the user experience substantially, they are much more involved with our satisfaction, and even have ties with several authority entities (ie. the POLICE) to help prevent scammers and people of bad faith from getting their way.
I've been using OLX Portugal for nearly 10 years (buying and selling) and I have no reasons to complain. It works like a charm!
Could it be better? Yes, it could. But so could Amazon, eBay, Discogs and every other platform in existence!
And yes, you can use it from abroad (especially Europe) - but as I said, it works best within Portugal borders.
