Hello.
I received my new Af 70 watt co2
Laser 1 month ago.
Been having problems since.
Contacted support tech.
They have been very good at answering my questions and sending me a power module i needed to change as my laser didnt pulse at 25 %power.
I received the wrong one.
I contacted support again and im waiting for a quick response.
So far im very impressed at omtech support and consistently
Kind and helpfull nature.
Not something you see today in bussinessses.
This is my first laser so im not sure about a lot of things.
Ontech is always a phone call away.

Nightmare experience (Poor Customer Service)
Nightmare experience. Omtech shipped the wrong product to my location and has not gotten back to me to address the return. The giant box is sitting outside who knows if it'll be stolen the next day as it can not fit into our apartment. Sales team is non existence so if at any rate problems goes down they can not be depended on. Their supply and shipping department is to blame
New Update (this is what I experienced so far November 16, 2023):
1. Omtech customer service email hotline replies to emails mostly at midnight PST, meaning you will not get a response even if you have an urgency (when our 1st package arrive incorrectly, customer service was non-existent)
2. Customer service is unwilling to price match a newly discounted price (12% off + Lightburn software) when I bought the laser a few weeks apart. Instead, customer service offered a paltry 50 dollar gift card for the Lightburn software for the troubles they have initially caused
3. More details to follow
Not only had I thought the shipping was the initial error for the mistake, I am starting to have doubts whether if customer service have any common sense for user experience. First you screw the customer over by sending the wrong package, second, do not reply to urgent messages until midnight, thirdly, provide no prompt answer for rectification and finally offer a minimum consolation gift of $50 for software that would've been free had I purchased the machine a few weeks later.

I have been looking into buying one and I have questions, I call the number and a lady answers saying someone will call me, set up a time for a call and never received a call. Anyone know if this company is legit? Seems like decent machine and price but I can’t ask questions.

This is the worst company I’ve ever…
This is the worst company I’ve ever done business with!! The product listings are false. The lasers WILL NOT connect to WiFi. When you reach out to customer support they tell you to google your questions! You get promised a call from a tech support manager and nobody calls. This laser is a piece of junk. This company is fraudulently conducting business. I’ve already filed complaints with the BBB and the attorney general! BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY OMTECH! This issue has been going on for over 72 hours and nobody will help me.

After almost one year
After almost one year, my 50 watt when hay wire. Laser hits on the x and y grinding so bad, the limit switches seem like they don’t work even though they light up. And now the x and y are running backwards.
It’s been 6 weeks and I’ve lost so much $$ due to this. I don’t think I’d buy another Omtech after this.
Update…. January 2024 and my laser still does not work. I have put it out in my shed and had to purchase a new laser from another company. $2500 down the tube for a laser that only lasted one year

Awful customer service response in UK
Customer service for UK customers is beyond poor. 24 hours at a time to get a response to any emails, no phone number to call apart from US which costs an absolute fortune for nobody to answer.
Zero urgency shown when trying to replace parts. A week in they send me a defective tube, then say it will be another 10x days for another one. What self employed business can randomly shut down for 3 weeks waiting on a basic part?
The most worrying thing is that the staff simply do not care about you or your business and are happy to just fob you off.
I’d urge anybody outside the US not to go with this company.

It's ok.
Need to simplify training. It's hard to find resources for covering things. Most videos I found through yourtube from omtech didn't cover some important items. Also, paid the $250 for the training videos on Lightburn from your third party youtuber. This is something I regret. Very basic and no in depth videos. Would not buy it again. Nice machine, but the setup videos were awful. Calibration on the camera is also very very tough. After 4 times and watching numerous videos it still is not correctly setup. Nice laser, but overall help and training is poor.

Purchasing was great
Purchasing was great. Setup instructions could be more direct. In particular the water pump that comes with the machine.
Having a Laser Engraver is a larger learning curve than I expected. I still am learning the basics like how to shut the machine down after a burn. Do I need to let it run for set period of time to cool down.

This is one of the worst online tutoring services you will engage it will take your money for $49 and leave you hanging for a technician to help you with your software issues. They will even not respond back with changing of appointment. And that money that you paid if they don't show up you can't get it back
