I am very satisfied with my new Omtech…

I am very satisfied with my new Omtech AF2038 60w laser machine! It arrived super quickly, and the customer service has been excellent. I had a small issue with the chiller at first, but they resolved it right away. The machine is working great, and we are still learning, having moved on from our previous laser (GW) to embark on this new experience. I hope it will be very productive!

Purchased 2028 100w

Purchased 2028 100w. Received broken laser tube which was replaced with no issue. Service is good response time is fair.

Three main issues with with lase mech.
1; noway to stop oder as none of the doors or lid seal. 1/8 inch or larger gaps. no seals on pass thru slots.

2; no camera on laser. For the price of the system you would expeck a camera.

3; Honeycomb Working Table is totally useless to to me. It is so rough it scratches It scrtches acryic and wood projects.

Absolute junk

Absolute junk. Never worked out of the box. Some of the issues "may" have been caused by damage in shipment but the company refuses to assist with any replacement. They keep asking for videos of the internal workings of the product which can't even be sent via the method they are asking, Email. Junk Junk Junk.
I believe they are "running out the clock" to get past the 30 day return window. They have stated they cant replace it because it is now "used". Terrible product and terrible company. I would give negative star if that were possible.
Components seem to be cheap chinese poor quality junk.

Great machine

Love my machine. Had 2 user errors and had to contact support. Answered the phone immediately and talked to someone on my time, not a video call on China's time. Support stayed on the phone with me to make sure I we cutting and engraving. Will purchase my next laser from OMTech for sure.

Omtech Laser's shipment took considerably longer than the estimated delivery time. The official website clearly showed that the product was in stock, but I still had to wait for a long time.

the machine breaks down so often

OmtechLaser's machines were breaking down so often that I had only been using them for three months and they had broken down 2-3 times, which was seriously disrupting my business operations and the downtime was taking a toll on my productivity and bottom line.

Got the Omtech AF2440 100 watt arrived…

Got the Omtech AF2440 100 watt arrived in great shape got it out and started to check the mirrors. But no burn on the tape to the first mirror. Been working with tech support but a slow go. Got to the resistor test and its pointing to the tube being bad. I even ordered a spare power supply and got the same results. Now I get another email asking me to do the same tests all over again and resend the videos. I hope I got better response. or I got an expensive workbench!

Package damaged

I received my K40 with some scratches. While it doesn't affect its performance, it's not what I expected. Nobody wants to receive a machine that's less than perfect. This shows how roughly it was handled and packaged. Now I'm worried there might be internal damage, who knows

OmtechLaser's user manual is incredibly difficult to follow. It's poorly written and lacks clear instructions, making the setup process confusing and frustrating. I had to seek external help just to get the machine running properly.

the machine was broken and no support for me

When I received the machine it was just broken and not working at all. I immediately tried to contact their tech support, but when I called their support line, all I got was an endless wait and an automated response. Asking for help by email was equally futile. Despite sending a detailed message outlining my problem and the steps I had taken, I received no response. It was as if their email support didn't even exist. Would not recommend anyone to buy from this company.

We haven't even purchased our equipment…

Update: since I cannot reply to Omtech's response and they are CLEARLY the most unprofessional company out there which is reflected by their insistent replies to argue with the customer and try to prove themselves right! Which they are still wrong in their response. There were several items still missing, as I stated in my original post here that were NEVER added, but it was sent to clicklease anyways. And we NEVER approved the invoice before it was sent to clicklease!! AGAIN, if you all were more worried about doing your job correctly instead of trying to prove me wrong, you would have caught this! The rotary and several other things were left off that we went over with the first rep that kept cutting me off! Just wow at the unprofessional mentality of this company. Other reviews I have found, state the same thing. And now you all trying to throw up who you were talking to, lol!!! My husband was right there the entire time. This place is ridiculous and not even recommended by clicklease, fyi!!! We are now going with a company that is recommended and has already been a thousand times better in customer service. Clicklease recommends like five different places and this bootleg place definitely isn't one of them! I am beyond flabbergasted at how you all argue with customers. You definitely won't stay in business with this nonsense! Good riddance!!

We haven't even purchased our equipment yet and this company and customer service has been absolutely horrible. We tried to order our equipment last Friday only to have the representative cut me off repeatedly and never put the order in. I was told I would immediately be getting an invoice to approve which never came. I called back Saturday morning and sent an email. The representative I spoke to on Saturday confirmed that there was no order placed. She escalated our issues to a supervisor to call me on Monday. Fast forward to today, Monday it started off with emails from Omtech trying to CYA and they had the rude representative on the email threads!!! If this isn't unprofessional, I don't know what is. She responded trying to CYA and claims that the order wasn't placed because taxes were added and shouldn't have been but the order was in and on hold so to speak. I got an attachment of the order with half of the items missing that we were trying to order. I responded about this and how it was confirmed on Saturday that there was NO order in the system for us and that they were just trying to cover their tracks! A supervisor Michelle called me this afternoon and not only was just trying to take up for this representative, but wasn't listening to me either! I told her some of our items were missing that we were trying to order and that clearly the original representative wasn't doing her job properly and obviously was cutting me off and not listening!! Had she been listening, items would not have been missed. At this point, we told Michelle forget it, we are taking our business elsewhere and hung up! Well, that hasn't stopped Omtech! I just got a text from clicklease asking me to confirm my order which we never approved with Omtech. We were told the invoice had to be approved with Omtech first before it went to clicklease btw!!! So not only do they not listen to their potential customers, I guess they are trying to be shady and push the order through anyways. We have already called clicklease and let them know, we will NEVER be doing business with Omtech. My husband found them and said they were the cheapest. Cheapest isn't always better and in this case it's absolutely horrible! Don't get me started on the email response from the representative who cut me off on the phone. It was written so illiterate that I could barely comprehend it. Just wow!!!! Lost our business before it even got started. I'd stay far away from this company. I am in shock at how nonchalant the supervisor was and incomprehensible they all seem to be. Stay away. Buyer beware.

Sean was approved for the financing we should have only been speaking with him directly. The first mistake our finance rep made when attempting to invoice your order.
On 6/14/2024 you spoke with a finance rep. On that call, there was a bad connection & delay any time either of you spoke it would cut into what the other party was saying. The rep apologized multiple times & advised she would " be quiet" at that time allow you to speak & wait a moment after to speak she was NOT intentionally interpreting.
After the apologies, your response was '' well whether it's intentional or not it seems that way & you need to stop speaking". You weren't polite or understanding of the bad connection at all.
Once you advised of your whole order, the rep confirmed the WHOLE order to you & you confirmed it was correct. Once she attempted to tell you how the process would work & the next step you yelled at her to slow down, she did & the invoice process was complete.
You then asked if she needed your information which wasn't needed as you're not the person who was approved. She did advise that the information was located in the approval portal by the phone number you called from.
Now the Finance rep goes to input your order in the invoice system & notices there's a glitch in the system which is adding taxes to the invoice & we don't charge taxes on click lease orders. This issue took place on a Friday. There were no complaints put in on Friday regarding the call or service.
Now this is where our CS team dropped the ball and things take a negative turn. Our finance rep should have indeed reached back out on Friday 6/14/2024 & to advise of the tax issue & there would be a delay in the invoice process, but she failed to do so.
When you called in on Saturday 6/15/ 2024 & spoke with our tier 1 CS team they advised that the order had not been put in at all, as they were viewing the shipping system, not the invoice system, again our fault for the miscommunication and the lack of training that the rep had when assisting you on Saturday 6/15/2024.
Once you sent in an email on Sunday 6/16/2024 the rep that originally handled your invoice call on 6/14/2024 was on duty at the time & serviced the incoming email in the general support email box as it was her job to do so. The tier 1 CS rep you spoke to on 6/15/2024 had already put in an escalation ticket for you & it would be serviced on Monday 6/17/2024 once the supervisors & managers were back in. The rep who replied to you via email on 6/16/2024 wasn't trying to cover up anything on the call on 6/14/2024 as the issue had been reported on 6/15/2024 & escalated for Monday's resolution.
She was just trying to explain the issue & service the email you then assumed we forced this agent to reply to you when she was doing her job & unfortunately was attacked & ridiculed in the response from you. However, your invoice as of 6/16/2024 was updated & had every single item you wanted as it was originally missing the beam indicator & coolant. You missed those updates in the midst of sending emails.
Michelle, who was the supervisor assigned to your escalation ticket, called you twice on Monday 6/17/2024 she received no response nor was
the voicemail set up.
We then received another email from you right after Michelle called stating we are unprofessional, we never had a manager call you, and a few more things about our rep that we won't list here in this review.
However, by this time, you had been called twice by a supervisor as requested on 6/15/2024 also the invoice was already corrected & good to go since 6/16/2024 just was waiting on click lease to create your contract Monday morning 6/17/2024.
Michelle attempted to resolve it. However, she wouldn't talk negatively about the CS agents & our company so you were still upset. Michelle listened a lot on the call & was barely allowed to speak.

The most awful and frustrating company…

The most awful and frustrating company I had to deal with, I was so lucky I purchased the machine on amazon marketplace or I would have lost my money.
They difficult the returns and try to make u feel guilty about wanting to return the items.
Offer you methods of returning just for you to accept and they say it is no longer possible to return things that way, try to make you take down your complaints with empty promises, I can't put into words how distressed this company made me feel and still is making me feel, the customer service is a nightmare, run away from them.

Customer service have now helped

Update: Omtech have been in touch and assisted me in resolving the issue with the power supply unit. My emails were being received in their spam folder. After noticing this, omtech were very apologetic and sorted out the issue straight away. Thank you so much for this ☺️

Since having the laser from October 2023 there has been any issues. Only that there were a few bolts missing and the belt for the auto-zeroing was way too short. This was resolved.
Forwarding onto the April, the power supply unit has stopped working. After trying tirelessly to get an over the phone technician to troubleshoot this, I was told that a refund would be given for the laser. As it was confirmed as faulty. I’m now still trying to chase omtech to sort out this issue. I’ve emailed, called and used their online chat endlessly. To be given a silent treatment from them.

I operate a small business and the laser is needed. I am now running at lose due to omtechs lack of response or care. I am also over £1,700 out of pocket from a dead product.

When you spoke with our tech support team on 4/16/2024 which was the intimal call, your power supply warranty did indeed expire as it is 6 months from the purchase date, you all purchased on 9/20/2023.

However we take full accountability for our tech advising that we could send a new power supply or refund you for the new power supply you had on the way to replace the defective one. The information provided was indeed incorrect.

We understand as a business we must honor our word and a refund was issued on 5/27/2024.

K40+

I am disappointed because I have had this machine for nearly a month. It was a nightmare aligning the mirrors. I finally got that done, but I have not been able to make one project. I made "My First Project," but it didn't cut all the way through. Then I tried the material test card. It also didn't cut through and most of the engraving was faint. Then the laser won't fire. My mA meter says water protection is not on. I have scheduled an appointment with a virtual tech to try to get this problem fixed.
