Be careful reading reviews as there are a number of these One Stop DIY places around the country and bad reviews may not be fair to your local branch! I nearly didn't use after reading reviews, but wanted somewhere local that could deliver fast. Andrew at Northampton One Stop DIY was so informative and answered all my questions about which type of plywood I needed for my project, and arranged delivery very quickly. It arrived when it should and with a friendly and very helpful driver who helped unload it to where we needed it.
Quality of the plywood is great, and we couldn't be happier with the service. Thankyou Northampton branch of One Stop DIY, we will definitely be using you again

You have to wonder where the good reviews are coming from ! Terrible company, failed delivery within promised timescale, complete lack of communications and refused to refund my payment. Had to go to PayPal “arbitration” which took weeks to get my cash back. Strongly advise avoiding this company and trying elsewhere as there are many much better alternatives.

I ordered a large piece of MDF - to be cut to size - from this company and the product and the service I received, was second to none. As someone already mentioned, it's often hard to find a company who will cut & deliver MDF and wood as a 'one off' for a domestic buyer but this company do - and I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough.

Needed some wood cutting and normally go to b&q. Their machine was broken so I googled local companies and came across one stop diy. Called to check they cut wood and they were helpful over the phone. Went there and they were extremely helpful and friendly and actually were more economical than B&Q so will only use one stop diy now moving forward

Purchased some MDF for wall panelling, 9mm thick, 80mm wide and 2400mm length. Was prepared to wait. Ordered on 28/3 and was due to arrive by end of that week. It’s was Easter bank holiday so I waited until the Tuesday and emailed sales for an update. Andrew relied to advise it was sent but tnt lost it. He said he would get another sent out that day for next day delivery and he sent me the tracking info. Arrived as advised on the 7/4. Andrew was very helpful and responded to my emailed queries very quickly. MDF was cut to six was specified, had 2 small chips out of 2 boards but nothing major and has to be expected when being delivered by courier. All in all good service and I would order again.

I called for a quote and said I'd really wanted to order that same day. The person on the phone said they would send an email with an invoice within half an hour.
5 hours later still no email. I Called again, a different person said the boss would have to take my order. He would have him call back. No one called back!

I searched for another business that had it ordered and paid within 5 minutes, for a much better price.

Avoid - lots of promises and lack any customer service skills, care or real interest.

I was a bit worried about placing an order after reading a few bad reviews, but overall had a really positive experience. I had a sheet of plywood cut to size to use as a desktop, arrived in good condition and on time. Great communication throughout.

Paid for speedy delivery for and the mdf arrived 6 days later , have tried to contact them to get my delivery fee refunded and I’ve been ignored. Beware !!

I have to admit that I was a little bit wary after reading the reviews but I chose to take a chance and order anyway. There was no need to worry. With the current situation, I was expecting a long delivery time as this is what other suppliers were saying on their sites. However, I received the cuts of MDF in less than a week and they are fantastic quality - just what I needed. Thanks a lot!

Have used One Stop for years, never had a bad experience. Just ordered some sheet material and a variety of cut lengths. All done perfectly and delivered to our door. There was a slight delay, but perfectly understandable in the middle of the current crisis.

I read the reviews as I wanted to place an order but the reviews prompted me to first check-out this company at Companies House - according to Companies House it says it’s in liquidation, and on 8th September there is a commencement of winding-up against this company. Didn’t purchase, obviously.
