One Day Tests - Cambridge Reviews 

I've been with oneday tests for my weight loss medications for over a year and am generally delighted with the service they provide. Everything - the website, the arrangements for regular testing and assessment, the quality of communication, the invoicing and delivery - is excellent , and far superior to my experience with other companies before.

One small reservation : after a problem arising because I'd been scammed, my credit card company refused my payment for Mounjaro. I should have received a message righty away from onedaytests to tell me this, and to allow me to repay. But I heard nothing from them. This was stressful, because I needed the prescription and couldn't understand why it wasn't coming through.
On the plus side, I finally rang onedaytests and got through to Freya, who was absolutely great. She investigated the problem, and patiently helped me to do what needed to be done to put it right. First class customer service!

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Lots of appointment times available and easy booking process. Staff were very good and the procedure was carried out professionally, on time and a full explanation before proceeding

The whole experience was so easy and efficient, and I would highly recommend using this company. I went to them with great apprehension, but was soon put at ease. I required a thyroid antibody test, which my doctor surgery refused, telling me it wasn't necessary. Well the results came back with a positive results and the doctor surgery has now accepted the results and I am hoping to soon get my medical condition finally recognised. I had the blood test results emailed to me the following day, and was kept informed of the progress. Yes, I highly recommend using this service.

It was easy to book a test. Blood sample collected, prepared and posted in time. Got results next day and they were as expected.

Quick and easy, however I did have to chase up my results after 6 days, which was annoying.

It is very easy to choose which tests to have. I had my blood taken at walk in centre in Cambridge and they were very nice and quick. The results came next day (a Saturday). The health dashboard is easy to navigate and has a useful description of markers so you don’t have to google them.

Helen H was my Phlebotomist, and she was wonderful, couldn't recommend her more, calm, confident and super competent. I am a medical doctor, 30 years experience. She can work with my any time.

I would suggest to remove the '3 tries' when you book on your website, comment or question or consent, because this really makes one believe the staff members are not good, I worried so much I asked my husband to come with in case he had to do it (also medical doctor, or thought about taking it myself). Helen H was brilliant though, and I nearly cancelled.

From a medico-legal point of view if someone struggles to get blood, they can ask, shall we try again, no one will force taking bloods on someone who arrived able to consent for this procedure. The patient can say yes or no. Anyone can have off days and some patients have difficult veins, although if very experienced, it is always possible to get bloods done.

Prices need to be more competitive, this was more expensive than France, South Africa, most places around the world, where we work, and some tests we used to do ourselves as doctors eg ESR, so bring the prices to more reasonable please - especially the ones like FBC, UEC, LFT, ESR, CRP - it would make sense.

It would also be essential to give one comment of why you want the bloods, so that pathologists can do an extra test if they need to eg on FBC or UEC (nearly always possible) so eg "inflammation ? cause" or "diabetes" or "previous IHD" etc.

We have a private organisation, Health, and we used to get private bloods done at Addenbrooks for our patients, so if your prices are more competitive (although I realise you have little competition), it would help a lot of people, as lots of people seem to prefer private now, and insurance, as you know, does not often cover this.

Easy to order tests online; quickly scheduled labs and received results in 2 days as stated.

The technician who took my blood was very gentile even though I have difficult veins.

Blood sample taken on a Tuesday morning & results received following day. Free on site parking in Cambridge & blood taken at appointed time.

Booked appointment just 30min ahead, arrived- parking no issue, got blood drawn immediately by professional nurse. The results came within 24h.

I thought the process at onedaytests was really efficient and would throroughly recommend them. The appointment was soon after I booked, communication was great and I got the results the next morning all in downloadable form which was really user friendly.

Was a fast simple process and quick turnaround time for results. Honestly would use them again.

I was spending 115 pounds and I was thinking the results will come 1-2 working days,results come after 5 days,I was not happy at all.

Booking could be simpler, for the situation where you're not able to be your own phlebotomist.
As it's not possible to export results as csv or some other form, you need to go through the additional step of pulling values out of pdf files. So some friction reduction required.
Also I have discovered that the Biomarkers used by OneDayTest are not identical for those used by the NHS.
