I have always been a huge fan on OnePlus and am on my 5th or 6th. This year though, after the system update my OnePlus 10t has been bugging out, camera opening all the time, gemini constantly speaking and interrupting everything, which i can't remove, on/off button not working amongst other things. I have seen someone else who have experienced exactly the same problems... Am i supposed to just buy a new phone!?

One Plus has ruined my experience of watching Samsung channels on my Samsung TV. The advert they are currently running is about 30/40 times louder than the program I am running or any of the other adverts.
I will be watching some afternoon T.V and the One Plus advert will come on and it’s like having my T.V on 100 Volume.
If it is later at night I will be watching with earphones and this adverts comes on and it is actually physically painful it is so loud.
I am disabled and the Samsung Channels are my main source of entertainment, they are now unwatchable because I am being subjected to this extremely Loud advert without warning.
I hope this company is fined for this and that they go under and cease to trade, they have ruined many Samsung channels with their ridiculously and unbearably loud advert.
Shame on you!

I ordered a phone which was supposed to arrive by 11/07 - I paid for next day delivery which they provide via DHL except their delivery isn't next day at all; due to issues with DHL I've had to place another order and I paid again for next day delivery - the order was placed on Wednesday 16/07 so I would have expected delivery on Friday but no, it's due to deliver on Monday. This was a present that was needed today (Friday) so to not even get a Saturday delivery is incredibly disappointing; especially as I had been in contact with customer service I had hoped they would have pushed my order through knowing the situation.
If you cannot provide a next day delivery service to Northern Ireland then make that clear so that customers don't waste their money.
EDIT 21/07: I received my phone on Saturday so it ended up only being a day late and OnePlus have refunded my delivery charge. Score amended to 4/5 and I will also say their customer service has been generally helpful and quick to respond. Still don't pay for next day delivery if you're in Northern Ireland.

Ordered a Pad3. Website said delivery in a week. Charged my card that day and received an email from them saying order picked and shipped. One week later USPS has yet to get item. Tried contacting customer service- useless. Was given story about this is new release, etc. When I asked when I could REALLY expect my product rep gave me yesterday's date. Just checked their website, still lying to customers about lead time. Just deceptive- if they can engineer products and have a slick OS and a slick website they can have an accurate lead and shipping time

I bought the OnePlus Nord 4 expecting a solid, high-performing device as advertised. What I got was a phone that records in 4K—but can’t even play back 4K video. That’s not just disappointing—it’s misleading.
Despite OnePlus claiming that “no other customers have raised this issue,” a simple search on community forums and user reviews proves otherwise. I am far from the only one frustrated by the gap between their marketing and what the device actually delivers.
After reaching out to support, I was given the runaround and eventually told I was past the 15-day return window—despite delayed responses on their end. As a “gesture,” they offered me a €20 voucher for accessories. Frankly, that’s an insult.
This experience reflects a company more interested in pushing sales than in standing by its products or taking customer concerns seriously. If you’re thinking about buying a OnePlus device based on their “flagship-level” promises—do your research first.
The Nord 4 is not what it claims to be, and OnePlus support is even worse.

Ordered OnePlus Nord 5 on 8 July. It arrived on 10 July and phone is great thus far.
However, the OnePlus website said that a protective case would be included. Phone arrived without a case. I queried this with OnePlus (Case ID: 250711-000161) and they said "that there is an error on the OnePlus product page, there is actually no protective case in the box for OnePlus Nord 5 in Europe." No offer of a free or discounted case.
Beware when dealing with OnePlus that they may change what is included and that their website can be misleading.

Thieves!!! Beware of their trade-in program. They make a pre-estimation of your device and when it arrives at their facility they void it due to some additional conditions, not mentioned before, so they can get it for free. Or else they ask for an expensive fee for return shipping. So instead of getting something for your trade-in, you need to pay them to get it back or give it to them for free!!!! Don’t mess with these gangsters!

The only reason I bought was they were the only legitimate seller offering the 13 at this price.
If I'd noticed they'd cancelled the free case I would have bought from Amazon (had to get the case from them in the end anyway). Who the hell needs a free pair of buds and the wireless charger is worse than the wired one they used to ship anyway.
Will never buy direct from these clowns again.

I have been a loyal OnePlus customer for over five years, investing significant amounts of money in phones, accessories, and smart devices for myself and my family. Until recently, I wholeheartedly trusted and recommended the brand repeatedly; however, after my latest experience, I can no longer do so and will not be purchasing or recommending OnePlus products again.
I purchased a OnePlus Watch, which is explicitly advertised as having an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. One day, after my usual morning workout, the watch’s battery was depleted. As I had done many times before, I removed it from my wrist and placed it on the charger. To my surprise, the device did not turn on again. Since the watch was only six months old and still under warranty, I promptly sent it to OnePlus Customer Service for repair.
A few days later, I received a response stating that the watch had suffered “liquid damage” and, as a result, would not be covered under warranty. This was both shocking and unacceptable to me, as the device had never been exposed to liquids beyond what is explicitly claimed under its IP68 rating and as stated on OnePlus’s official website.
To be clear, this is my sixth smartwatch, and I am fully aware of how to properly handle such devices. In fact, with my previous watch — also rated IP68 — I took the risk to use it in scuba diving (not professional) and remains fully functional. This OnePlus Watch, on the other hand, was used only in a swimming pool during a regular practice session.
To make matters worse, OnePlus implied the damage was my fault and offered me a 10% discount on a new watch, along with a suggestion to “recycle” my current device. For the record, I have no interest in a discount; I expect my watch to be repaired or replaced under warranty as any reputable company would do.
Based on my experience with similar devices, this is clearly a product flaw of the watch's sealing, yet OnePlus refuses to take responsibility. This approach is not only extremely disappointing but also feels deceptive and disrespectful to loyal customers.
I strongly urge others to be cautious! Should an issue arise, you will likely be left alone and blamed for defects that are clearly due to manufacturing failures.
Through this experience, OnePlus has not only lost my business but also my trust and respect.

I rejected the delivery and FedEx returned the package. 3 months later and no refund. Put a case in and of course now they have no record of receiving the device back. I have waited patiently but continue to get the run around from customer service; oneplus is terrible and take heed, terrible.
I have dealt with customer service from the day I rejected delivery, what customer service told me to do, and after multiple calls it is apparent the phone was either lost or stolen at their New Jersey facility. Customer service has continued to tell me they are still waiting to hear back and that has been 2 months of hearing back!!
UPDATE UPDATE
I received a partial refund this past Saturday. I received an email stating they did in fact have the device and I could either request a different device or refund; I chose the refund. I received the cost of the device but not for their warranty!!!! So I have a warranty on a device I never accepted….

Purchased a OnePlus 12 last year unfortunately I dropped the phone, my own stupid fault.
With no insurance in place, phone powered up and alarm was going off every morning as set but all touch screen functions stopped working.
Screen cracked on lower corner even with protector and case in place.
Prior to this didn't have any issues with the phone.
Contacted OnePlus and booked in online.
And sent away for repair
Just had a quotation report sent through from SBE saying it is unrepairable?
Now I have had Samsung's, iPhones etc having 4 kids= which have been all repaired or refurbished at some point.
I went for the OnePlus as prices were very reasonable at the time, and I needed a good camera for my work, even with the hassleblad logo attached to everything.
But I fail to see how a flag ship model at one point, a year later is beyond economical repair or that parts are unavailable.
I will never recommend that any one purchases any of these products if a year later they are obsolete.
It all seems to be a bit of a con.?
Lesson learned stick to the bigger brand names and make sure you have insurance in place.

I recently purchased the OnePlus Pad 3 and was excited to try what looked like a premium productivity device. Unfortunately, the experience as an Australian customer has been frustrating and deeply disappointing.
Unlike the U.S. version, the Australian Pad 3 comes with none of the key accessories. The keyboard — a must-have for anyone looking to use the tablet seriously — is not included, and worse still, it’s not even available to purchase in Australia. The Stylo 2 and case, both included for free in the U.S., are instead sold separately here for $99 and $50, respectively. Even the charger, which comes standard in the U.S., is missing from the Australian box.
On top of that, Australian buyers are only offered the most expensive model — 16GB RAM and 512GB storage — with no lower-cost options available. This lack of choice, coupled with missing accessories, makes the overall value proposition incredibly poor for Australian customers.
Perhaps most disappointing is the misleading messaging. Influencers who received early review units showcased unboxings where all accessories — keyboard, Stylo, case, and charger — were included. Many of them also mention the tablet working as an extended display with a Mac. These features helped build anticipation, but the product Australians receive is clearly not the same. The tablet does not support extended display functionality with macOS, and the box contents are bare by comparison.
It’s disheartening to commit to a pre-order only to discover after the fact that you're getting far less than your overseas counterparts. At the very least, OnePlus should make the keyboard available for purchase — or better yet, include it, especially for those who supported the product early on.
Right now, the Pad 3 feels like a great device wrapped in a poor experience. I hope OnePlus reconsiders how it supports its Au customers.

I recently purchased the new OnePlus 12R, but I'm experiencing speaker issues. I visited the service center, and they informed me that it's a software problem. Even after updating to the latest software, the issue persists. I would advise against buying OnePlus products.

I was in the market for a new phone and i was going for the new Samsung but a friend said try One Plus, so i ordered the 13, they also had a trade in so i send my s21 5g in as a trade in, a week later they emailed me that instead of the original 140$ voucher i am getting a 14$ voucher for hardware damage! the phone is in pristine condition and i have been using it with no issues, shady practices i have to say, i will also be returning the phone i got and will be going back to samsung.

Are Oneplus simply agents for a grossly overpriced repair service? Oneplus were all over me when I reported a fault and asked for help, but then delivered me into the hands of some greedy b******ds who quoted over £300 for a minor repair. And they want thirty quid if I want my phone back.
Pity is, I loved that phone more than I've loved any other, and I'd have stuck with them for life if I wasn't feeling shafted by them.
p.s. OnePlus have replied to this review (a generic reply, see below) but it's meaningless as I emailed Customer Support a couple of weeks ago and they didn’t even bother to acknowledge my email. Great product let down by shockingly bad service.

I have never had an issue with any of the 7 OnePlus phones I have owned. I currently use the OnePlus12 and it's an absolute gem. No complaints except that this model does not have the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. It's usb-c, Bluetooth or nothing. But that's not a deal breaker I can buy a dongle.

Awful, awful company. Their prices are a little lower than established brands but that simply reflects the fact they do not have any customer service and aren't ready to be taken seriously. My phone is in an official repair place for almost two weeks now after I posted it as requested. Sending emails daily asking for updates and getting completely ignored. No idea when they'll bother to start repairing it or when I'll get it back. Do yourself a favour and buy from a grown up brand.

Bought a pad with EarPods included, while the iPad works the EarPods did not charge.
Contacted customer support, get standard response, assigned number and steps to take- write back saying still not working- .. nothing log on to account- password fail, enter info again to reset - birthday has no way to enter date- need to scroll back year by year - then not known on account. Receive email- nothing has happened for some time, we consider issue closed if you don’t respond in 3 days, then the loop starts again. Bot response I guess
I’ve had OnePlus since my 3T .. now I wouldn’t recommend

3 for OnePlus 13
1. Excellent Phone
The OnePlus 13 is a truly remarkable device. Its robust connection and adherence to advertised functionality make it incredibly reliable. The AI capability assists me nearly every day, proving to be genuinely useful. I especially appreciate the seamless ability to have multiple telephone lines on one phone. After an initial setup period, its connection with my vehicle has been flawless, with no further issues. Moreover, despite its waterproofing claims, I use it near the jacuzzi and shower almost daily without any problems, which is a testament to its durability. I wholeheartedly recommend the OnePlus 13 for its exceptional performance.
2. Subpar Watch
However, I have serious concerns regarding the OnePlus Watch 2. This promotional item has proven to be an appalling device. It actively overtakes and changes many of my system configurations, for example, altering my email. It even forced some of my in-home smart products to be re-networked. Even after shutting down and completely abandoning the OnePlus Watch 2, it continues to vie for connection with my phone, draining both device batteries. The entire configuration of my other watches, like my two Samsung watches, will not work properly when the OnePlus Watch 2 is in the picture. This device is a significant issue and the primary source of my dissatisfaction with the brand's promotional offerings.
3. Crazy Customer Service
My experience with OnePlus customer service has been consistently frustrating. While the representatives are polite and receptive to feedback, they do not resolve issues. I've been passed from one person to the next with promises of actual resolution, but despite bringing this to their attention multiple times and receiving promises through escalation, nothing ever gets resolved. It feels like a polite but ineffective loop, leaving problems unaddressed. The company's communication regarding these issues is also confusing and dismissive; phrases like "Yay!" and "Congratulations!" are inappropriate and fail to address the core problems.
***Persistent Issues and Systemic Customer Service Failure
OnePlus was given numerous opportunities to resolve the issues that came up. Despite my repeated requests for continued assistance and clarification, I was constantly redirected to different representatives. I even tried to influence some engagement with pleasant and excitable replies, but the problems were never, ever solved. I made it clear to OnePlus that I intended to publicly address these issues, specifically regarding the unexplained reduction in the trade-in value offered for my new Samsung S20 and other pricing discrepancies that didn't match their website. This also included significant issues with the OnePlus Watch, which appears to be poorly designed, prone to overriding my phone and other equipment, and completely lacks standalone capabilities.
After three months of unresolved issues, OnePlus is now attempting to extend a "public olive branch." While this might look good, I'm fully aware of their process and have no desire to engage further.
This message serves as a stark warning to anyone considering purchasing OnePlus products: be prepared to face a systemic failure in customer service should you ever need assistance.
Critical feedback can be difficult and sometime can muddy situations.... I like OnePlus overall and would definitely recommend and purchase another phone.
Please be informed on potential customer service issues and some of the cheaper products that they might have but please don't let this limit your idea of purchasing one of their phones I highly recommend it.
