Don't live up to their own claims

I searched for my phone by model and Oneunlock listed it and said they could supply a code within 24hrs. i paid the fee and waited -after two days I just got an automated 'a refund has been issued' notice. I wrote back and asked why and got a one line' we are unable to obtain a code for your phone' message. But no refund arrived. I emailed them again and got a message that said the refund would be there with 5 working days. It didn't . Wrote again and got no reply. So I raised a Paypal case and after three days got a refund with no explanation nor apology. Avoid this firm -there are plenty more out there who do the same job with better manners.

Oneunlock.com goals >> 1. use cheap marketing tricks 2. ignore clients 2. if its broken, don't fix it

Once upon a time I had an attempt to do business with oneunlock.com. After couple of cases where I've had my credits kept for days just to get a response that the unlock wasn't possible I decided to stop doing business with them. There were other incidents as well.

At that time they had this silly system where you had to buy 50, 100 or more USD wort of credits so you can make an order. And if you don't use the credits by a certain deadline the credits expire which is a really cheap trick IMO.

So if you don't want your credits to go to waste you have to constantly refill you account or plan elaborately how to use the credits that you intend to buy so that you sacrifice the smallest amount possible.

After buying 100USD in credits and couple of days later I got one 40USD iphone 4 unlock rejected stating it can't be done. To keep me happy they offered to unlock the iphone for 80USD with another method which was supposed to be faster. (facepalm)

So after couple of email messages back and forth I've managed to convince them for a refund, explaining that what they were doing was extremely unprofessional and unfair. You might be thinking, hey that wasn't so bad this guy is complaining for nothing.

After this I started getting newsletters in which there wasn't any unsubscribe option so I've sent them tons of messages asking to remove me from their subscription list. All of these were written in vain.

One day I saw an unsubscribe link in their message and I though YES FINALY!!! When I tried to access it >> An Error Was Encountered The URI you submitted has disallowed characters.
This link has been broken for months and this instigated me to write this negative review.

I realize I can stop their messages by blocking their email but hey, you never know who will need you sometimes... I've sent them many many messages telling them that the link is broken but I really don't know if they read/understand my messages.

Also I agree that they didn't commit a serious injustice but I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone wanting to do business with these people that they are amateurs. They've left an very unprofessional impression to me by ignoring dozen of my messages.

All the best,
Mile
