Misleading Claims and Deceptive Practices

I recently came across Onkumo and was initially drawn to their website because of a 50% off storewide coupon advertised via a spinner pop-up. However, when I tried to use the coupon code at checkout, it was completely fake and nonfunctional. Needless to say, this was frustrating, especially since the promotion seemed like a great deal.

But the issues didn’t end there. On each product page, Onkumo boldly claims that a portion of their proceeds goes to Water.org, a cause I personally support. Curious, I reached out to them for proof of this charitable contribution. Unfortunately, my inquiry was ignored completely. So, I decided to go straight to Water.org to verify. They confirmed that Onkumo has never donated to their organization, despite what the website claims.

The combination of a fake coupon and misleading charitable marketing made it clear to me that Onkumo’s practices are deceptive at best. They seem more interested in luring in customers with unfulfilled promises and fake discounts than actually delivering on what they claim.

I strongly advise caution when considering purchasing from Onkumo. Their false advertising regarding both discounts and charitable donations raises serious concerns about their business practices and integrity. Until they can back up their claims with transparency, I’ll be steering clear of their products.
