Would not recommend!!!! We never received the Apostille we ordered and paid for, numerous emails and phone calls were not answered. We ended up paying for another Apostille through the official website and received that in the mail the second time around. All in all, we paid three times and received one...

The officiant passed away a few days after our wedding at the start of this year. This explains the poor reviews from after his passing. We had a great experience. He was professional, jovial, knowledgeable, and had our documents processed quickly.

He is based in Germany, Nürnberg and as per Utah Law the officiant has to be located in Utah !! The reason why he currently closed his website. He's very bad at communication as well, don't order here.

Furthermore, he overcharges you and actually you don't need this guy. You can all do by yourself for less than USD200. Utah Marriage Office, easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I am trying to contact them regarding a service I have paid for due to take place next week. Can someone please send a WhatsApp number as I have not been able to contact via email.

I can confirm the experience of other reviewers on this site. Jochen took our money, stopped replying and did none of what he was supposed to. He hasn’t replied to my requests for a refund, despite me being able to see he has read the messages on WhatsApp. I am in the process of beginning legal action against him to try and get my money back. Please stay away from Jochen and his website.

After booking and paying communication with Mr Jochen Ziegler was already not great. It took him 3 days and us prodding via Email for him to send the required questionnaire and ask for our documents - we did not book a 24h wedding, but if it were the case I can see how this is even more unacceptable.
We handed in our documents the same day, hoping to get an update a couple days after about confirming our wedding date. The wedding was supposed to be on a Monday. The Friday before our planned date, after us asking him for updates, he claimed he'd hear back about our marriage license before the weekend is over to confirm if it'll work out on Monday - saying they work hard 7 days a week...
Since then, there has been no response to countless emails and WhatsApp messages. The latter have not even been opened or read.

Now there's some good, bad and unfortunate news regarding this:

We never heard back from Jochen since, so we contacted Utah County, we later looked into this and he's a legal officiant for the state of Utah and processes documents through them. - The services he provides, if he does, are legal.
But even the person on the phone has said they often get complaints about him, but anything wedding websites do is entirely out of their control.
Jochen has never filed for our documents after a whole week of waiting and claiming he would hear back from them to update us soon. Nothing he had claimed to have done for us was true. - He took our money and let us wait.
On top of that, the Utah County employee informed me that she heard through another of his unsatisfied clients that he allegedly has passed away this weekend. - At least that's what Jochen's wife told this client. If this is true, this is of course very unfortunate.

For anyone planning to get married remotely, please stay away from wedding websites like these, they often provide terrible service and you can do the same process yourself, legally, through Utah County for less than $200 total.

Before booking this service I checked the reviews written here, some bad some good. The bad seemed to be mostly based on the time it had taken or the communication side of things.
I decided to go ahead and I wasnt let down, the time issue rests with the county and the processing time required on their side. When you first book your wedding date it clearly tells you in your booking email that you are not confirmed until the county issues the marriage certificate. Once issued then things get moving, sadly the wedding people are not in control of these issues.
I guess what I am trying to say is,if your properly prepared in regards to the small delays and by small I mean a few days then service is great.

I booked my wedding with 1 week notice, it took 10 days to issue the certificate and by 14 days I was married. 6 days later I had the certificate in my hand half way around the world.
If your considering this service as an option then put your trust in them and wait for the confirmation before setting any plans in stone.

Great experience, great service. Asked Jochen to help on the 4th Janaury and we successfully married on the 13th January. The key is to be be organised. Have high resolution pictures of passports, complete the marriage application promptly, succinctly and accurately. Jochen is busy, make every communication count, help make his job easy and it will go very smoothly.

This website is a scam ! After dozens of emails, whatsapp messages, the answers were always automated and the same "the application in is the States, we will update you when we have more information".

Our wedding call never happened even though it was booked, paid for and all documents submitted in a timely manner.

No update on the application, no answers to countless emails and messages.

We decided to flag this business with the bank and used our credit card insurance to get our money back.

Stay away from Jochen, he just wants your money but won't provide the service paid for.
