At first, due to a technical issue on the website, my CPR class was booked incorrectly, different from what I had selected, and this disrupted all of my plans.

He investigated the website issue thoroughly and managed to compensate for the time I had lost because of the error.

Wrong name on verification

The training you offer is good; however, there are a few details that, in my opinion, could be improved. For example, in the quiz for Module 1, question 63, the correct answer is given as “decline the offer.” However, the better answer would be “It depends on the situation.”

Indeed, if, while carrying out their duties, a security officer finds themselves in a situation where a person becomes ill or is injured and a doctor offers their help, refusing would go against all logic, as the doctor is far better suited to assist the person. The same applies if an off-duty police officer identifies themselves and offers to help—refusing such an offer seems completely illogical to me.

Regarding Module 6, page 3, the following leak leads to a 404 error due to the capital “O” in “Oshanswers.”

I received assistance from a supervisor who provided me with a working link, but correcting this link directly in the module would undoubtedly lead to a much better training experience.

One last point I would like to highlight is the waiting time for the verification of the First Aid CPR-AED Level C certificate. In my case, I completed this training with the Canadian Red Cross, and the verification can be done in less than one minute on the Canadian Red Cross website.

It is therefore very difficult to understand why a delay of five business days is required to validate the certificate in order to obtain the TCN.

I hope that my comments will help improve the training for future participants and that they will be beneficial to you as well.

Everything was good, other than the fact that my CPR certificate took almost a week to verify.

I took a first aid course here. The first aid instructor left without issuing our certificate and a want to be drill Sargent security instructor (I think he was the business owner) entered our class on our break and started to evaluate how he felt about us for some reason. I had a winter hat on because it was winter and it was also cold and he demanded I removed my hat (this person never introduced them self ).
I left the class to see if the first aid instructor was still here because I was there for a first aid course not security training.
This random instructor chased me out of the classroom and started to yelling to the reception desk not to talk to me.
His ego was hurt that I did not remove my hat and he said I wasn’t getting any certificate from his company. I tried to talk to the reception desk to see if anyone reasonable was working and threatened to arrest me and had another security guard from the office approach me.
I have been working security for 10+years there was no need for that small man to get upset and threaten me. I could not risk jeopardizing my security license which I already had so I left and they refused to refund my money.
My work arranged to have me attend the first aid course and despite completing it I had to pay another business out of my own pocket for the 2nd time and miss another day of work repeating the content.
I wish I let him arrest me and waited for the police to come but it wasn’t worth it to me due to this guys potential ability to black ball me within the industry/get my license removed.
