Beyond lazy …. Do not bother!

I don’t know how Graham should get his commission from the sale of my house. Before I start I will mention that my ex husband engaged him, he was not my first choice.

Since the property came off the market and was put on with Open Door they did not take the photos, they did not do one viewing, I did them all myself, he did not negotiate the offer, I did that and he has not handed the keys over to the buyers, I have done that!

How on earth he thinks he deserves his commission is beyond me! If anything I should have it as I did most of the work.

Don’t bother using them … they are lazy beyond belief!

Hi Amy,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience, as that is certainly not the outcome we aim for.

During the sales process there were points where you chose to manage certain aspects directly, such as conducting viewings and communicating with the buyers, which we were happy to accommodate. Our understanding was that this approach suited everyone involved at the time.

It’s also worth noting that both your ex-partner and the purchasers indicated they were satisfied with how the sale progressed.

That said, I appreciate you sharing your perspective and would be very happy to discuss your concerns directly if you would like to get in touch.

Wishing you all the best for the future.

Kind regards,

Graeme

They just cold called by knocking on my door trying to ask how marketing of our house sale was going. He stood on the top step trying to look in. I told him the sign on the gate said no cold calling and that I was not interested so he left.
It was very strange and disturbing.

Dear Tracy,
Thank you for your message and for bringing this to our attention.

I’m sorry to hear that the visit left you feeling uncomfortable. I understand how that would have been unsettling, particularly given the “No Cold Calling” sign displayed at your property.

While the intention was simply to introduce our services, we appreciate that the approach was not appropriate in this instance. We will ensure greater care is taken in the future to respect signage and personal space.

Thank you again for your feedback — it is genuinely appreciated.

Kind regards,
Kate

Do not go with this company

Do not go with this company, Graham contacted me out of the blue, saying he could sell my house . However, he bullied, belittled and threatened me.
He admitted he had googled my house, used my personal details to contact me. He us now threatening me with legal action, if I sell to anyone, he has interduced to me, in relation to selling my house.

He even tried to sell my house behind my back for a reduced selling price.
I am now filing a compliant against him.
Advice don't use this company, very unprofessional.

Extremely unprofessional - tread with caution!!

We were contacted out of the blue today as we have a property for sale on the market with a reputable local estate agent. Graham at Open Door admitted to googling our home, business and personal contact details in order obtain my mobile number. He then called me and tried to bu**s**t me they could sell our home in 3 weeks. Having pointed out to him the principles of GDPR, he was quick to exit the phone call, making excuses etc….I’m now in the process of filing a complaint with the ICO as this is extremely unprofessional business practices, in fact rather desperate practices and not one that gains a positive reputation.
