Most resellers spend too much money and time on domains. With Openprovider and our Membership program, you can buy, renew, and transfer domains at cost price on one platform to become a more successful and profitable reseller. We are a rapidly-growing, ICANN-accredited domain registrar and technology scale-up founded in 2004 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We understand the frustrations of wasting hours searching for new domains at fair prices; being hit by unexpected renewal costs after the first year; and losing customers because you can’t offer attractive bundles. That’s why we built a platform to easily manage operations for over 1,900 domain extensions. We were the first to offer a Membership Program to get the domains you need at cost price, and we've been helping clients sell millions of domains for more than 20 years.

I ever seen this much of dedication on my issue because previous am using different provider so open provider is much grateful to me. Thanks you OpenProvider

In our 16 years of business, Ombrella has never dealt with a company as unprofessional and problematic as Openprovider.
Despite our account being terminated months ago and numerous requests to cease communication, Openprovider continues sending automated emails to our company with no meaningful response or resolution provided. Never ending spam and harassment.
At this stage, the matter has been escalated formally, including regulatory complaints and legal review through counsel in the Netherlands. We have had to spend money to hire a law firm.
Based on our experience, we strongly recommend businesses exercise caution when dealing with Openprovider.

I recently migrated my client’s business email from a previous unreliable provider to Openprovider, expecting better performance and support. It has only been about 15 days, and unfortunately, we are facing serious issues again.
Since yesterday morning, the email service has been severely degraded:
* Webmail (SOGo) takes around 15 minutes to load
* Opening emails takes 2–3 minutes each
* Sending emails is delayed by up to 30 minutes
* Replies are not being received
This is a business email system, and this level of performance makes it practically unusable.
I have already contacted support multiple times (over 6 messages). I received only one response saying the issue is being checked and to expect an update within 24 hours. It has now been over 24 hours with no resolution and no meaningful update.
What’s most frustrating is that I just moved my client away from another poor service provider, only to encounter the same—or worse—issues here within two weeks.
There is:
* No clear explanation of the issue
* No estimated time of resolution
* No temporary workaround provided
For a paid business email service, this is unacceptable. Reliability and support should not fail at this level, especially so soon after onboarding.
I strongly hope Openprovider takes this seriously and improves both system stability and support responsiveness. At the moment, this service cannot be trusted for business-critical communication.
Ticket No. 185425
Update: The issue has now been resolved after more than 24 hours. The email service is currently back to normal.
However, the downtime significantly affected business operations, and the delay in support response remains a concern. I appreciate that the issue was eventually fixed, but I hope Openprovider improves both system reliability and response time to prevent similar disruptions in the future.

This is the worst company I've dealt with recently. The website is poorly designed and unusable, and customer service is non-existent, relying entirely on an unhelpful AI loop. Save your money... this platform feels like a scam.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with this company over the past few years. I was charged for email solutions I never signed up for—not just once, but multiple times. Most recently, I was billed for four separate email services without my authorisation.
To make matters worse, I had a rolling subscription in place which failed because of these unexpected charges. As a result, my subscription has now lapsed, and I’ve lost access to lower domain pricing. This is absolutely unacceptable.
Trying to resolve the issue is a nightmare. To even trigger a refund, I was forced to add the email service to my domain and then delete it. It’s a ridiculous and time-consuming workaround for something I never requested in the first place.
I will say that support staff are polite and helpful, but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m being made to jump through hoops for something I never signed up for. This has been happening for multiple years now, despite previous assurances that it would be fixed.
At this point, I have no confidence this won’t happen again next year. This should be a simple and straightforward process, but instead it’s become a recurring and stressful issue.
Update:
After going through all the hoops they required to resolve this, the situation has actually gotten worse. I’ve now sent three follow-up emails and haven’t received a single reply. My support ticket has been completely ignored.
What’s even more frustrating is that they were quick to respond to my negative review on Trustpilot—within about an hour—making it seem like they were actively looking into the issue. However, when it comes to actually helping me directly, there’s been nothing but silence.
This has seriously damaged my trust in the company. It feels unreliable and poor follow-through when it matters most. Based on this experience, I would not recommend their services, and I will be looking elsewhere to host my domain names.
Update (One Month Later):
After an extremely long and frustrating process, I finally received a refund for the unauthorised charges, and the email services I never signed up for have now been cancelled.
However, the issues didn’t end there.
Despite having no active email services, I continued receiving repeated notifications to update my DNS settings. Resolving this took over three weeks and required multiple follow-ups on my part.
To make matters worse, after sending several emails chasing this issue, my email address was apparently blocked from replying to support. I was then forced to log in directly to their support system just to continue the conversation—adding even more unnecessary friction to an already exhausting experience.
While the issue has eventually been resolved, the overall process has been unnecessarily complicated, time-consuming, and stressful from start to finish.
Until this company significantly improves its systems and customer support, I cannot recommend their services to anyone.

I've never had any issues with over a hundred domains managed and been with them for years. The system seems robust, i've never had any problems at all other that a glitch with 2fa kept having me login in several times in a session, but that was brief and resolved. Prices are good and the packages for reduced prices are worth it if you manage a lot of domains.

Support is so bad. I've been having issues resolving nameservers. I've reached out to support at least 5 times; sent multiple mails, raised a few support tickets and even reached out on Instagram. Still no response right after I made payments for domain registration. I regret choosing you Openprovider over GoDaddy.

Best provider to register your URL's and control your DNS settings.

I reported a clear, well-documented fraud case involving a domain registered with Openprovider. I provided screenshots, WHOIS data, SMS spam showing multiple personal numbers exposed, and the full redirect chain leading to a fake gambling site. The domain is still active
This is not how a responsible registrar handles abuse. When a domain is being used in a coordinated scam operation, a registrar should investigate — not ignore the material and send a copy-and-paste reply. Very disappointing and highly concerning.

Prices are good. Support is bad. Had to email them 5 times in two months to process a simple refund. Makes me wonder what will happen if there are any real issues.
Update on reply. Pick one:
- Just pay the bill and I will refund you afterwards.
- Sent us the invoice and I will process it.
- The account manager is on vacation and will process it when she is back.
- Your account will reflect the correct balance in 24 hours.

Dear Open Provider Team,
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the incredible support you provided when I was having trouble with my new domain. As someone still gaining experience, I didn’t set things up correctly, and you stepped in to help me figure out exactly what I had done wrong. You really didn’t have to go the extra mile, but you did—and I’m very grateful.
Your responsiveness and patience made all the difference. I know I sometimes jump ahead without thinking things through, but your guidance helped me slow down and get it right. The fact that you’re based in the Netherlands doesn’t matter at all—your support feels close, immediate, and truly fantastic.
I deeply appreciate the way you’ve been so helpful, and I look forward to continuing to work with you. Thank you again for your professionalism and kindness.
Warm regards,
Eric engstrom

The WORST "customer service" ever experienced!
If you have options to avoid this company, its in your best interest you do.

When I started reselling Domains I was with ASCIO. Switching to Openprovider was one of the most eyeopening experiences I've ever had.
They might not have the fastest UI, they are definetly not the cheapest for every Domain
But: If there's any issue, customer support is there to help you.
OP is not the only Provider for domains that I use but I consider it my primary go-to-point for any domain or SSL related issues.
If their pricing was better with the (in europe) less purchased domains (e.g. south american ones) they'd score 5 points from me.

Been trying to receive support for months, no one is answering me, I pay for the service, I migrated my domainbase to this platform but now I cant even register domains because their legal status field is broken so all domains that require a local business are impossible to register for me or my customers and impossible to receive any support from OpenProvider, ITS BEEN ABOUT 6 MONTHS NOW

Just learn that you have to pay a 25€ admin fee for just cancel your reseller account you didnt do anything with... Just wanted to check some prices and conditions... very bad and scammy behaviour

The best place to buy affordable domains, SSL certificates, and manage your entire portfolio in one platform. They’re accredited for almost every TLD, even the rare and unusual ones.
I ran into a frustrating issue trying to register a .ie domain — no notifications were coming through, and I was just about ready to give up. Thankfully, Andreu was incredibly responsive, professional, and informative, stepping in right when it mattered.
He had everything sorted and the domain registered in less than a day.
Huge thanks for saving my bacon — couldn’t have done it without him!

terrible, i kept trying to report an illegal domain that sells in game items, which according to that game it violates their ToS and they keep letting it slip, they keep telling me that the domain would be suspended if the reseller doesn't update them, and guess what the reseller said "The costumer state that is the concurent send the report" which doesn't even make sense, and in the first report they also said "customer fixed the problem" its just in broken English and not a very good reply, and yet openprovider lets it slip
They just ignore customers. Paid for service, it doesn't work, four days later, they've simply stopped responding to tickets. There's a reason their rating is so low on here...
