I ordered a blouse in size L from…

I ordered a blouse in size L from OpéraSPORT. The first parcel was delivered to the wrong address and arrived in the wrong size (M). A replacement was sent — also in the wrong size (M). I therefore never received the item I ordered.
I returned both blouses via GLS in good faith, but unfortunately no longer have the drop-off receipt. Despite all errors being on OpéraSPORT’s side, they are unwilling to process a refund without documentation, which I find unreasonable given the circumstances.
As a resolution, I was offered 50% off a future purchase — which, after this experience, is not something I will be making.
I have found the customer service to be polite, but ultimately unhelpful, as the same response has been repeated without any real attempt to find a solution.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend OpéraSPORT — particularly if something goes wrong with your order. Their customer service has unfortunately not been able to offer a satisfactory solution, and for that reason I will not be shopping with them again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are very sorry to hear that the order did not meet your expectations and understand how frustrating the situation must have been.

After the initial shipment, where the wrong size was unfortunately sent, we spoke together on the phone to find a solution. During that conversation we explained that the size originally ordered had unfortunately sold out, which is why the replacement was sent in the closest available size. As this particular style is a seamless design, the garment does not become wider when sizing up or down, the difference is mainly 1 cm in the length, which is why we believed the alternative size could still work.

We also sent the replacement without charging you further. You therefore only paid for one top but received two. During our phone conversation we also agreed that one of the tops could be handed in at our store, however this unfortunately never happened.

Regarding the return via GLS, the parcel has unfortunately not been registered as received in our warehouse. In order for us to investigate the shipment with GLS and process a refund, we do need documentation from the carrier (such as a drop-off receipt or tracking confirmation). Without this documentation we are unfortunately unable to verify the return in our system.

We fully understand that this is not the outcome you had hoped for, and as a gesture of goodwill we offered a 50% discount should you wish to shop with us again. While we respect your decision not to do so, the offer remains open should you change your mind.

If you are able to obtain any documentation from GLS regarding the return shipment, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will of course review the case again.
