great site, quick easy surveys & very few screenouts..

Brilliant market research website with very interesting and high rewarding surveys.

Opinium surveys is a great site to do surveys and earn money while you do them. They are interesting to complete and the reward is fair for the time taken

I feel that Opinium are very honest and upfront and especially fair with the amounts they award for the time spent doing the survey. The questions are always relevant, interesting and sometimes a little lighthearted- eg give 3 words to describe lego! They often have many different topics in the surveys, from politics to finance which keeps it interesting.

Best place to make a bit of extra money. The amount for each survey so reasonable. The surveys are quick to complete. I’m always amazed at how quickly I earn enough for a payout. I’ve had hundreds of pounds from doing them. I like how you get an email and a link to the survey. You complete it and that’s it. I used to get so frustrated with other companies because you would answer a load of questions for them to say sorry you do not qualify for this survey please try this one instead. Round and round you go. Never earning anything. This company is completely legit. Pleasure.

Generally the surveys are straight forward and not too tedious. I like that you constantly get update on progress (% survey completed), and the payout is hassle free.

Interesting but simple surveys with Opinium, Happy to be able to fill them in.

Been asked member of opinium for many years and never had any issues. A fair amount of surveys come through, any screen outs are at the start of the survey rather than the end and the payment rates are fair. Takes a little while to receive your £25 once claimed but it always arrives with no issues. Certainly one of the best survey sites out there.

I enjoy being part of an active panel. the surveys are interesting and rewarding and the topics vary. the surveys can be done on mobile or laptop at your convenience and are a great way to share a general view and opinions and recieve incentives for honest and genuine feedback

I love doing these surveys. Some are repetitive however they are easy to do and the rewards are great. I would highly recommend

Update: I have lowered my rating to 2 stars as being sent broken surveys half of the time and panellist support is non-existent. I have recently reached out due to a survey (Project: UK29603) that broke as I completed it, which did not bank the points I was supposed to get for completing the survey - still no reply.

But more tellingly, they sent a survey invite for Project code: UK29063 Financial Fairness Tracker 12 Only sat, which was offering 200p for completion. I did the entire survey and finished it, only to be told at the very end that somehow I was not eligible (usually the elimination question(s) are at the beginning to prevent wasting time). I contacted them about this and received a "We experienced a technical error on our side and we are actively looking into it". Nothing came of it despite following up a couple more times. Basically they got me to complete a survey but didn't want to give the advertised reward in the end. Very poor in quality compared to the likes of YouGov.

Original review: I've been a panellist with Opinium for a few years now and for the most part the experience has been decent (with the occasion glitches where my points weren't getting banked). Compared to a well-known survey company, I was getting more surveys and found it easier to accrue points to then redeem money. However, since the start of this year, I have started receiving broken surveys, which I cannot complete and accrue points (let's be honest about why we're doing these surveys). I have reached out to their support team each time, only to get the usual apologies. Even as I write this, I sent an e-mail to let them know yet another survey is broken (this is after trying the same survey both on my smartphone and on my PC) - UK28592. So now half the time I accept the survey invites from Opinium, I expect the survey to break somewhere along the way.

I think I will still continue to accept the invites but will be focusing my time more on the well-known survey company instead as one can actually complete their surveys from start to finish. It's a shame that the quality of Opinium has dropped. Used to be fun but not so much anymore...

Original review 22/07/2025 [1/5 stars]: Have been great in the past, I have successfully recieved payment before. In recent months, points from surveys I completed have not been adding to my balance, and despite comtacting customer service multiple times, it is still occuring. I am stuck with an account balance halfway to being at the high withdraw minimum, so it is physically impossible for me to cash out. Avoid.

EDIT 22/10/2025 [2/5 stars]:
I returned doing low-value surveys and it seems the balance issues has been fixed. I have succesfully been paid out £25 through bank transfer, so the site is legit. But the pay rates are awfully poor (low as £3ph, high as £5ph in my experience), so I will continue to avoid.

This was a good company, surveys that don't just screen you out all the time and payments that could be relied upon. This has now changed.

I noticed that points were not crediting, and contacted them. I received no response and 3 weeks later, contacted them again. This time I did received a reply and they said that the problem was at their end. After a while I contacted again and they credited some of the studies that I had not been paid. I cashed out ok and continued doing surveys.

At just over £21 (the cashout threshold is £25) the same issue then started happening again. I reported this to them and received no response. I left it 2 weeks and contacted them, again, deciding to draw a line under this company now, and asked if I could withdraw my money. There has been no response. I tried doing some shorter 25p surveys now and again to see if the issue fixed itself but it has not. The radio silence from them is telling also.

Really disappointed and frustrated. Just wish I could get the money - I would have reached the threshold and passed it by now, had I been credited for the five surveys I have taken and not been credited for.

Time to reveal the demise of Opinium Research customer service. On 19/3/25 I redeemed a £25 voucher. This now goes through something called Prezzee. The voucher was never ordered, I complained and despite denials, OR offered to pay into my bank account. Despite scores of emails no payment has been made and OR now ignore me. Not paid for my time. AVOID.

I am writing to share my deeply frustrating experience with Opinium Research.I have been actively participating in their surveys for over three months.
Recently, I reached the redemption threshold and claimed a £25 bank transfer reward. I received the following confirmation:
"Congratulations! Thank you for claiming the following reward:
£25 bank transfer
Payments will be processed by our finance team and then processed to you. Vouchers will arrive via our voucher partner Prezzee - so look out for an email from them. Our terms are three working weeks, but should be shorter in practice. Bank transfers take 1 - 2 working days after being processed so please bear that in mind.

It has now been over three weeks since I claimed my reward, and I have yet to receive the £25 bank transfer. Despite this, I continued to receive numerous survey invitations from Opinium Research.
When I reached out to their support team to inquire about the delayed payment, I was shocked to discover that my account had been blocked without any prior notification or explanation. Furthermore, my inquiry has gone unanswered. It feels incredibly unfair and deceitful that my account was banned immediately after I raised a legitimate concern about my owed reward.
This is utterly unacceptable. After consistently contributing my time and effort to their surveys, to have my account summarily blocked and my rightful reward withheld is pure wickedness. I am left with no payment and no explanation.
I urge potential participants to be aware of this unethical practice. Opinium Research has failed to honour their terms and has unjustly banned my account for simply inquiring about a payment they confirmed.

I have been a member of Opinium surveys for many years. Having reached the payment threshold once again I claimed what was due. I received nothing. On contacting customer services I received a very breezy reply stating my account, 'was deactivated by our automated system due to breaking the terms and conditions of the company'. As this explains nothing I have sent several further emails requesting a more detailed explanation and have been totally ignored. I feel this is totally unprofessional and an extremely unpleasant way of treating someone who has been on their panel for years. In addition, if my account was deactivated why am I still receiving multiple surveys every day? Is it really assumed I will continue to participate for no payment?

I’m sick and tired of trying to start a survey only to be sent straight to the members log in page
