OPTIMA ITALIA NEVER ACTIVATED MY SIM!

I purchased a sim card mobile phone plan. Received the sim card quickly. Went through the cumbersome process of activation....but the sim was never activated. Tried email support since I have no phone, nothing. Tried whatsapp support, even worse. Finally I got tired of this and asked for my money back. I then received an email response saying that I had to send a signed letter. I did so, no response no refund.
This company is beyond shocking, more than a month later and they got my money. Opened up a claim with my credit card provider. Best to avoid this outfit.

FOLLOW UP: Optima Italia response is a cynical attempt to have the last word. And they are spreading inaccuracies and falsehoods.

"One of our representatives will contact you shortly to discuss the matter further" TOTAL BULL

"We see that you attempted to complete the process, but the documents provided were not valid." WHEN YOU DID INFORM ME OF THIS? WHAT IS A "NOT VALID" DOCUMENT? WHY YOU DO TAKE MY MONEY AND ACCEPT MY DOCUMENTS AND THEN NOT?

"Additionally, since the time frame for completing the video identification had expired, we sent a new SIM card, which would have been activated automatically within 24/48 hours of delivery, without the need for video identification". WHEN DID YOU COMMUNICATE THIS TO ME AND HOW? BY TELEPATHY?

"However, in the meantime, you sent us a cancellation request." OF COURSE, AFTER A MONTH OF HAVING NO PHONE AND YOU WERE NOT RESPONDING, AND ALSO HAVING MY MONEY, DID YOU EXPECT SOMETHING ELSE?

"Due to the reasons you provided and the documentation received, we have terminated our contractual relationship" NOPE, YOU TERMINATED THE SERVICE CONTRACT YOU BLATANTLY BREACHED AND STILL HAVE MY MONEY.

"processed a refund to your bank account." NO YOU DID NOT. THERE IS A CLAIM AGAINST YOU WITH MY CC PROVIDER.

"We apologize for your experience, even though it was not our fault." AHAHA CLEARLY IT IS MY FAULT RIGHT? WELL I PLEAD GUILTY OF TRYING TO DO BUSINESS WITH OPTIMA ITALIA.

"We hope that, thanks to the attention you received, you can feel at least somewhat satisfied" WHAT ATTENTION? THAT THE ONLY PLACE I GOT A RESPONSE FROM YOU WAS HERE IN TRUSTPILOT, AND YOU ARE CYNICALLY DOING THIS TO SAVE A BIT OF YOUR TARNISHED REPUTATION SO YOU CAN ATTRACT MORE UNSUSPECTING VICTIMS TO YOUR SHAM OUTFIT?

However, we would like to clarify that you purchased a SIM card from our online shop. The SIM card was delivered, but as stipulated in the contract, it was necessary to complete the video identification process to activate it. We see that you attempted to complete the process, but the documents provided were not valid. Additionally, since the time frame for completing the video identification had expired, we sent a new SIM card, which would have been activated automatically within 24/48 hours of delivery, without the need for video identification. However, in the meantime, you sent us a cancellation request. Due to the reasons you provided and the documentation received, we have terminated our contractual relationship and processed a refund to your bank account.

Ordered a new SIM as I need an Italian…

Ordered a new SIM as I need an Italian number. Tried to deliver last Monday but wouldn't leave because he wanted a photocopy of my passport, which I didn't have to hand. Promised to deliver the following day (Tuesday). I waited in all day. No delivery. Called the company and they promised I would have on Friday. Stayed in all day and nothing. Worst company I've dealt with in Italy, and there are a lot of terrible companies. These are the worst. Called again and still no delivery time.
