Cannot fault these guys.

I have always felt that Optuma wants to deliver the best software.
They have never failed to answer my questions and show me how to fix my issues if they arise.
I am a long term client and will stay with the best.

my copy is not Windows 10 compatible and I have to keep having to run the compatibility function and it revets to windows 8,

I have been down this avenue about 5 times, every time I am told to go to settings ease of access and change the text size, this may well change the size of the Optuma txt but also means that the desktop and every other setting I have becomes so large it is inoperable

I have always found Optuma and their staff to be very responsive and helpful and their online resources are brilliant.
The Optuma program works flawlessly and has assisted me greatly in analysing stocks for investment. I could not do without this invaluable tool at my disposal. Keep up the great work!

Have used many charting programs over the years until I purchased my current Optuma program.
First up the back up support is excellent. Have always had super quick response whenever I've had a problem. It usually ends up being a user fault tho. The support team have always been quick ( same day and often within minutes for a response) and straight to the point to solve any issue I've had.

However, for some reason the Optuma program has made it far easier for me to profit from the stock market with clear predictability from their charts. No other program has ever given me such clear incite and greater probability of a profitable outcome for trading currencies, indices and shares. Additionally, there are an endless number of technical indicator choices that should appeal to every person's preference. I have also gained much additional knowledge just by experimenting with some unfamiliar indicators.

The other aspect so appealing for the program is they are constantly upgrading the system with improvements. Just when I think it can't get any better, it does. They also have an excellent extensive knowledge base section with superb tutorials that will improve anybodies understanding of stock market analysis.

I've had many of the rest but this is THE best! If you want the best technical analysis program available, Optuma is the one to get. Simple!

I’ve been an Optuma user for about 5 years now. I don’t use any other charting software because I don’t need to. Optuma has a huge feature set, but my main focus has been using its scripting capabilities to automate signalling for my trading strategies. I’ve written literally thousands of lines of code in Optuma scripts, and with that practice and experience have come to learn of the awesome power that Optuma’s scripting platform provides. What can be done with Optima scripting really is quite extraordinary. The script support forum is excellent too, with Optuma’s own very knowledgeable people promptly answering the forum community’s questions, with quality advice and insight. I’ve also witnessed several of Optuma’s version updates and can see how the community’s feature requests have been addressed, even some of my own. That does give a feeling of really being a part of an ecosystem, (rather than that awful feeling of hopelessness that can happen with other software providers when your request just seems to disappear into the ether, never to be heard of again). In summary, I’ve enjoyed using Optuma so much that I’ve taken advantage of the incredible value of a lifetime subscription. For those interested in semi-automating their trading strategies, or building technical signalling systems, I do recommend that Optuma should be considered.

never worked properly when i went from market analyst to optuma

This software is not difficult for a beginner to use. But when you go further, it requires other skills such as programming etc. I am not good at programming, so it makes difficult to reveal its full potential. When i recommend this software to my friends in China, this software doesn't have enormous advantage against local competitors. And since i can't get enough help in programming, people around me show less interest on it. So this software is more popular with experienced investors or traders. What's more, after the trade war started, i feels like people start to separate themselves from chinese people like me which makes me more difficult to get some help.

Anyway, great tool for those professional traders in U.S. But still has more work to do if you guys really want to increase foreign market shares..

Generally very quick response to issues - there are not many issue that arise.
technically - the charting tools are excellent and comprehensive

As a private trader/tech analyst for over 22 years, I was lucky enough to be introduced to Optuma in 2002; purchased a copy soon after. What a absolutely fabulous exceptional piece of software a testament to the genuine passion Mathew and the development team over a long period of time. I find the extensive flexible data (I/E) options very good an amazing range of tools (including custom), back testing, scanning, templates, layering (all super flexible) and programming to be just everything I need as a Gann method analyst. Move features than I could ever master.

I've been using Optuma for several years now and as a result, have cancelled subscriptions to other pieces of software and research I used to subscribe to.

Optuma gives me the ability to effectively test trading strategies, simplify my daily, weekly, and monthly portfolio management process, and saves me a ton of time. The sheer power and user-friendliness of the software is unsurpassed, but only exceeded by the high-touch, hands-on customer service available at virtually all hours of the day.

In my eyes, if you're looking to improve your research capabilities, strategy development and testing (back-testing, signal testing, etc.), and don't mind the side-effect of becoming a whole lot more efficient, there really is no other choice.

Optuma Technical Analysis software is by far the best charting and publishing tool available. It enables me to publish both The Weekly Speculator and Weekly ETF Studies seamlessly.

I have used Optuma for over 10 years (originally Market Analyst). Over that time the product has been in constant improvement. Optuma comes in three diffident levels with multiple addon’s. Even though my subscription is basic it is still a very powerful package. I understand the extra addons are ahead of the competition. Despite its capabilities, it is still an easy program to use. Data updating occurs automatically, so there is never a hassle keeping charts up to date.
In recent years Optuma has greatly increased backtesting and scripting power. I am still getting used to the power of the Optuma backtesting module.
Apart from a brilliant software package, Optuma provides ample support for using their product and technical analysis. A large part of the resources are available to anyone.
I would like to thank Mathew, Darren and Matthew in no particular order. The Optuma Team have helped me immensely on my trading journey.

I used several charting software packages on my journey to finding Optuma.
Optuma has proven to be so user friendly and powerfully comprehensive that I discontinued using the other software packages many years ago.
Optuma is very stable and reliable, I have used it for many years without the need for support.
I use the software to trade mainly the teachings of W. D. Gann in financial markets. I also use it to determine weather cycles.
I am very happy with my Optuma software.

I have used Optuma, previously Market Analysts since I started my journey to become a trader several years ago. I have found it quite easy to navigate and use once shown. Any time I have had an issue for example 'not remembering how to execute a task' I have contacted the Optuma team and have always had a response from Mathew or one of the staff within hours. The support has been very impressive and positive and helpful.
I would highly recommend this program to everyone.

I have been using the Optuma charting package for more than 15 years and when it was known as Market Analyst. It is an excellent and most versatile charting software program. it is particularly useful to those who use Gann trading techniques. It has very many tools and features but I do not use all of them, due to my trading style. Also most importantly, Optuma's support / help desk facility is very good. Whenever I have a question or issue, I get a response very quickly. The training videos and other support material are great for starting traders and users.

If you're looking for an all in one technical analysis tool, then Optuma is the one you've been looking for.

The team is open, willing and committed to your success in the markets.

Have a problem with their program? They'll help you solve it.

Want an advancement to the tool... just email them and when demand is high enough, they'll implement it.

I couldn't recommend anything else if you're looking for a desktop solution.

My only issue though, is that with the world tuning to the cloud... there's definitely some missed opportunity here. And I also wish there were more built in scripts... some that worked to their rules.

Like Dow Theory and Automatic trendlines.
