Scam

Scam. I'm so stupid. Called in for a sinus infection and was told I had a cold. They kept my money by prescribing me OTC nasal spray and cough medicine.

Unprofessional Customer Service

Today I called specialty pharmacy concerning my prescription delivery. I asked the customer service representative why she was asking for my insurance information when she should already have that on file, she became very frustrated with me and started yelling at me. I immediately told her to calm down and stop yelling and asked to speak with her supervisor. She put me on hold for 15 minutes then connected me with someone from the resolution team. This team member was not a manager and did not address my complaint. After she helped me with the prescription delivery issue which was why I originally called about, I asked how I can file a complaint about the representative who transferred me. She said she was going to tell the manager, but she did not seem concerned about how I was treated. I’m very concerned that my complaint will not be addressed and very uncomfortable having to use this pharmacy going forward.

Horrific company

Horrific company! They haven't heard the last from me yet either! My 101-year-old grandmother, who by the way was doing amazing until a fall in the driveway caused a skull fracture and brain bleed. This appalling company only allowed 5 days at Riverside Community Hospital, then 2 weeks in a skilled nursing facility before they discharged her without enough physical therapy to be able to walk with her walker again. We had 48 hours to find an assisted living place for her to move to, which I did, only for her to fall out of her recliner trying to get up. Sadly, she received another horrific head injury, this time to the front of her skull, her forehead, and eye area. It looked worse than the skull fracture she had less than 3 weeks earlier! Back in the hospital, and now being sent back to a skilled nursing facility. I hold this insurance company responsible for part of this situation due to negligence; they have not heard the last from me.

INEFFICIENT Worst service in the world

Worst service in the world! You would think they would be running smoothly right now - it's always a bogus reason for waiting to hear from the doctor's office or not having heard from the doctor. The online portal updates are delayed and often out of date. WHY DO WE HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS MEDIOCRITY?

Seems like every time I need a refill…

Seems like every time I need a refill they are out. Then they tell me that I need to go to pharmacy to pick-up and pay $60 for one month supply. Why would I do that when 90 days is $60 for mail-order? Then when I call in the hold times are ridiculous. Optum is a joke. Express scripts was 100% better. I never had an issue with getting my meds. Not sure how this company stays in business. Come on Optum get it together and take care of your customers. Maybe a call to bbb would help.

Disappointed…..,,,

Its been several months that I have used them now and though I would prefer to use a local pharmacy so I could have more control my new insurance pricing is better with Optum. That being said, they have already lost a prescription, they send you notifications that it’s time for a refill too early and they get denied, their really hard to follow along with and no one knows what you’re asking about.

Most of time when we go to a pharmacy…

Most of time when we go to a pharmacy for refill or get a prescription sent in by doctor they try everything possible to not fill it or hold up on filling it. I had major mouth surgery and needed antibiotics and pain meds. Well they keep reviewing my order. If I get an infection. I will sue optum and state of Florida for this shitty company. Someone is making big money off state employees prescription plan.

Optum by AARP. Total failure.

During a recent (Walgreens) pharmacy visit, I was charged $42 for my Rx whereas my Optum coupon code gave a $24 price quote. Nearly double the Optum amount. When calling the Optum customer service to verify the reason for this huge price difference, I was brushed off by the agent with the phrase “Price differences do occur and furthermore the prices we publish on the website are always estimates.” What a waste of time. Other discount programs are much better and are more accurate.
Thank you AARP for another useless product.

Garbage Prescription Health Care

OptumRx part of United Health Care is the worst company to dealing with prescription drugs. 100% of the time they screw up an original prescription and the refill. Customer service representatives are trained to not answer questions and for the customer but to pass them on to pharmacists who have less of a desire to help customers.

If it were at all possible to get my Medicare Part D prescription provider to move from OptumRx, I would be an extremely happy camper.

Every order placed via the website…

Every order placed via the website requires a phone call for some reason. Message usually comes via an email which is typically a day later. Then the time & effort to get thru AI Assistant & finally to an advocate speaking with a heavy accent.
This delays the meds being shipped & a royal inconvenience.

Handling of Insurance

Well, just from the end: If you like to get a huge bill after your visit, just go to Optum. My son went for physical exam and he mentioned that he has a pain in his knees. The doctor attended to that and he prescribed for him medication. Guess, what, we got an bill for $700 and when we called, they mentioned that this due to that extra care taken care of!!!! so instead of billing my insurance, they billed us directly. I had to cancel all our upcoming appointments and we have diverted elsewhere.

Stock seems to run out all the time

Stock seems to run out all the time. I have to switch prescriptions to other providers to get it. Then I get notifications I can get it through them. Then they say they're out of stock again. I mean - what the heck? They continue to lie to me every time. They have got to be worst pharmacy mail order EVER. I hate to do it again, but I'm switching health care providers to avoid this flustercuck.

Shear Frustration

Great concept, but their execution sucks everytime. I wish that the customer service reps would spend half as much time listening to your inquiry and correctly following through on your request as they do trying to convince you that their fake American names are real. Multiple times I've paid extra for expedited shipments only to receive deliveries at a regularly scheduled time. Talking to their reps is mass confusion and they often make order errors. And winding your way through their A-I call voice mail is just shear frustration!!!!!! Wish they'd involve some real customer's feedback in their call and customer service training.

RUN!!!

This was my first time using their service and I will never try to have a prescription filled from here again. I think this company lies for what ever reason. I went back and forth over a week and half trying to send my order out for them to tell me my order was cancelled due to my doctor not sending the prescription. I finally called my doctor to have to send it over to a local pharmacy. This company lie and I believe all the reviews about this company.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I needed to consolidate two of my Optum accounts. Which should've been an easy job on part of Optum, took many hours of work, many phone calls, and eventually a certified letter to threaten Optum that if they did not help me I was going to report them to the Attorney General's office. I spent over 10 hours trying to get my two accounts consolidated. Unacceptable way to treat a customer who has been with Optum for many years now. The call center is full of people you can't understand (poor English) and when you ask for a supervisor it's still the same issue. They are hard to understand every time you ask a question, you get a different answer.
