The house itself was really quite lovely, but they overstated the number of physical beds. They advertised 9 beds sleeping 11. What they actually had was 4 normal beds and two, thin twin air mattresse... See more

Great view!

Loved this tiny little house called "Seaside Escape" in Lincoln City. It was perfect for our honeymoon. The view was amazing and during high tide, the ocean came right up to the retaining wall. Even during the rain the view was great. The location is great except for parking because it's between a public parking lot for the beach and a hotel so people take the parking available for the house. The sound level isn't too bad from surrounding areas, but we were there during off-season, so I'm not sure how rowdy it gets during the summer. The yard shares a fence with the hotel and anyone renting the rooms can see into the yard and if they are nosy they can see into the house. The gate to the yard also doesn't lock so anyone could technically just walk into the back yard but no one did while we were there. Would definitely like to go back.

Only one small issue

We recently rented the "On the Beach" house and found it to be fabulous. Well appointed, incredible view, easy beach access and walking distance to very good restaurants.

The only issue encountered was the entry upon arrival. We were given a code to open the electronic deadbolt which didn't work on multiple tries. However, when I called, they gave us the code for the key lock box (which has a tight fit) and all went great from there.

We would stay there again.

Cozy beach house

This house was perfect for a family get together! Very clean with comfortable beds and couches, plenty of towels in large double vanity bathroom, well stocked kitchen and a wonderful fenced backyard for a dog. Walking distance to The Mist and ocean. We loved it and hope to return!!!

Oregon Beach Vacations

We stayed 4 nights and all of the essentials of home. The room was clean and great. Shower nozzle was broken and fell off several times when taking a shower. Everything else worked wonderfully and would definitely stay there again.

Cozy and Comfortable

Our stay in condo 403 was very comfortable and the view was quite enjoyable. The furniture was worn but that's to be expected and did not take away from the comfort. The kitchen could use a few more tools and gadgets. The description did note a coffee maker but no grinder, the ice machine is disconnected, the TV in the living room has a large line running through the screen which is a bit distracting when wanting to cozy up on a rainy day. The bedroom and bed was very comfortable and stayed fairly dark despite there being a very bright light directly outside the bedroom window. Overall it was a comfortable stay and we would return but with more supplies in tow.

Adequate space- but some issues...

Not sure how 15 people could stay here comfortably? We had 6 adults and 3 small kids and the living areas were smaller than they looked online. So it was a bit crowded. Otherwise the bedrooms were sufficient and the beach access was nice. When we arrived though, it took a long time to get the living room heat to work (even following the instructions several times). I had to plug in and start the wall heaters in all the other rooms to warm the place up too. The 2nd night it rained and the ceiling leaked. We had to place several bowls around to catch them all- lucky it started before bed, otherwise our stuff could have been ruined. The roof above our bed even leaked- so stuffed towels under it and slept the opposite direction)-- The most frustrating part though- is that I called and emailed the rental agency (included pics of all the leaks)... and NO call back or any offer of compensation. Even a response would of been something. I won't rent through them again. If it hadn't been for the leaks and old heat- it would be a decent place. But the rental agency was not customer friendly once issues arose.

Wonderful family vacation at Roads End Light House

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at Lincoln City at the Roads End Light House. This is the second property that we have rented through Oregon Beach Vacations and both have been excellent experiences. The Oregon Beach Vacation web site is easy to navigate and gives sufficient information regarding the properties to make an informed decision. Both properties were accurately depicted in the web site information and there were no unpleasant surprises when we arrived. The houses were clean and well-stocked with the basics as well as a number of extras. I would recommend Oregon Beach Vacations without hesitation. I will be using them again for our next family beach trip.

Truely Above it all

The house was very spacious. We had 3 couples and had a great time. The view of the ocean was amazing. We made great meals together played games and enjoyed the local restaurants for fresh seafood. I wouldn't hesitate returning. The rates for late October were really fair.

A Little Disappointed

Small things were wrong here. No hair dryer, mouse poop in downstairs bathroom, loose boards in fence allowed (frequently barking) dog next door to poke his head through. The house itself was clean and kitchen had lots of pots and pans, dish ware, etc., and bed was comfortable. Great house for a family!

Loved Saltworks

Saltworks was a fresh, cozy, cottage in Seaside, OR. Loved the fireplace and the backyard and deck. I would have given 5 stars but there was sand in the hot tub, not a ton, just enough to be annoying whenever you moved your feet or seat.

There is a hot tub fee for the rental and I would have assumed it would have been cleaned. But, this is the beach, right? Sand is everywhere.... But this is the beach, sand is everywhere but all you would have needed was one of those manual "pump-vacuums" and that would have done the trick.

We didn't use the tub until the morning before we left so I didn't bother to call and ask if they had a way to clean it with out draining the whole tub.

Why no reviews for unit?

This rating is for the booking process - how 'bout reviewing the units so guests can know what they are getting into? The booking process was fine. The unit Tolovana3 was sufficient - it did lack some very basic items like a hairdryer....and clothes hangers! It felt like a rental - the building was a bit weathered. And the bedrooms sit on HWY101 so earplugs are needed. These are details guests should know before going.

Very relaxing time at the beach!

This condo is in beautiful condition & the views are perfect. The only issues we had were with the key box--luckily, we were able to open it so we could get in, but after that, the box wouldn't close. Had to leave key out when we left. Also, the porch light was out & the gentleman who tried to help us didn't have the bulb to change it. One thing about the jetted tub--felt wonderful, but sounds like a jet engine so it wasn't as relaxing as I'd hoped. Would stay here again in spite of small problems.

Excellent Rental Company

Oregon Beach Vacations had amazing customer service. I accidentally deleted my original email confirmation I had received & requested a new email to be sent so I could make sure I had all the information needed and within less than 24 hrs they sent this info to me. I called to see if I could get an early check in & the person I talked to was very accommodating & allowed me to check in a few hours early. While staying at the rental the garbage can was completely full so we called & within a couple hours maintenance came & emptied the garbage. I highly recommend renting with this company.
