We have been traveling to Newport, Oregon for over 30 years and have experienced many accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last week. The facility was welcoming and comfortable and the views were breathtaking.

floors, location, towels, kitchen equipment were good. Electrical was bad - about half the lights either didn't work or didn't have bulbs; key pad didn't work. Management was good - came and emptied the overflowing garbage cans and got us in with a key when keypad didn't work.

House wonderful. Some problems with TV and original entry. Oregon Beach Vacations very responsive. Fixed all very fast.

The place has a great layout and the location while not ideal is still family friendly, however with only 68-70* high temperatures we were miserable during the afternoon in this condo. No fan or AC and minimal airflow with open windows due to the elongated layout made it uncomfortable. We had a Nap-taking toddler with us so we were stuck being hot & miserable. I can't imagine a summer time vacation here. It was clean and well appointed though the proximity to the coastal highway and public park made it a rest stop for the hitchhiking homeless.

Make sure you send instructions on how to enter property. Plus make sure there is a better description of property layout. Got to property could not find room, plus photos make you think there is a private deck. In actuality it was a sliding door off back street and only way in.

We rented a condo and the unit next door was under renovations. Katy from Oregon Beach Vacations called us on Monday morning to advise us of the construction and to let us know that we could not use the balcony until they were done in the next day or so. That was disappointing, as was envisioned morning coffee and evening drinks on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Before I could say anything, Katy advised that the owner felt bad for the experience and would compensate via partial refund for the days the balcony was unable to be used, along with the noise from the construction. Katy followed up later in the week to verify if the construction was completed, but it wasn't. They promptly provided a partial refund for the entire duration of our stay. Although we weren't able to enjoy all of the amenities of the condo, the proactive approach of Oregon Beach Vacations and the owner made the experience less aggravating. The condo we rented was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. The beach was steps away, cafe's were within walking distance and the weather cooperated!

The house was perfect for our family members visiting from all over and 2 dogs. Comfortable, but not fancy, perfect for not to worry about the dogs. We lucked out with sunny days all week, ending with bonfire right outside our door and stars to help. Comments, great dishes, but should have a knife sharpener for the kitchen. Beds let us sleep, but medium comfort for the mattresses. Great laundry facility with beach chairs to use. Would love to stay here again.

Everything about this vacation was excellent. The house was sparkling clean, well stocked with cooking supplies, towels, even beach toys for the kids. Oregon Beach Vacations was so easy to deal with. All the right information at all the right times. Couldn't have been happier with our experience. Have already booked with them for next year.

Great little house and scenery just hard to find especially at night

We recently had a five night stay ay the flat..."amazing proposal rock" in neskawin, Oregon.
The flat was ideal for the three of us. Very clean, modern and comfy. Large deck overlooking a quiet creek and an easy walk to the beach. The weather was without a doubt the best ever..
We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Our stay in the DePoe Bay condo was wonderful! Beautiful place, watched whales right in the bay for hours and could walk to stores and restaurants. Condo is well appointed for our needs and has a well stocked kitchen. Better mattress on queen bed and better reading lamps in living room would be our only suggestion for improvement. We certainly will not hesitate to book #29 again. Office staff was very helpful and friendly. It was an incredible, reasonably priced vacation experience. We'll be back!

The place was immaculate. Perfect for a couple...which we are. Well equipped with pits for cooking and plenty of dishes!
Only negative: when we arrived one of the blinds broke. Called the rental company around 5:30. Closed but got answering service. We stayed 3 nights and it was never fixed! Anyone could look in in the evening!! Will definitely return!!

We come to Lincoln City every year. Our usual go-to place has really gone down-hill, so we looked for a new spot. Dock of the Bay 303 is a nice condo. Kitchen supplies fully stocked. Comfy bed. Great location on the bay. Walk along the beach to the oceanfront. I sent a separate email to Oregon Beach Vacations with a list of things (minor repairs) that could bring this unit up to first class. We most likely will stay here again.

Over all it was ok. The house was a lot older than it appears in the photo.
The condition is not good.
The bedrooms has light cream colored carpet. The small bedroom has mostly spots. It reminded me of dog puddles. The large bedroom had the same color carpet but not as many spots.
Both beds were wore out years ago. I am a world traveler and they are the worst I have ever slept on.Black mold on shower curtain and shower leaks a lot. This is a housekeeping problem. The pan that I was going to use in the kitchen that hung on the wall was all brown inside. needless to say we never used it. I have owned apartment buildings and have rentals now. This should all be addressed before I would rent from this Company again.

The home has wonderful views of the ocean from the master bedroom and living/dining/kitchen rooms. A very out of the way area that is quiet and serene. The beach access is quite steep, a newer stairway a short walk down the road. It is not for the faint of heart or out of shape person. We had trouble accessing the home and had to call the agency in the rain. A handyman was there within 15 minutes to let us in. Also the carpets are poor quality and quite dirty. The master bed is comfortable and the other beds marginal. Overall a great home for view and quiet.

Wonderful time with family and friends in a very accommodating rustic nostalgic home. So much character in this home. Very nice private setting with very comfortable beds and wonderful cooking utensils. Enjoyed visiting, watching the movie, fishing from the dock and from our boat that we were able to moor at the private dock. Also enjoyed just sitting back and watching the river flow by.
This home is very accommodating for people of all ages. We ranged from 1-85 years old.
The only thing I would change would be to have the berry briers cut back between the river and the house so you could have a better view while sitting inside the house.
It was enjoyed by all and everyone would like to return for another enjoyable get together in the future!

The house was fantastic. It wasn't cleaned when we arrived but the company sent someone over immediately and the place looked great quickly. Our dog was sick and was unable to go but they refunded our deposit. Great customer service. Really enjoyed the house and its location to the main street in town (Seaside). We will rent this house again.

This home would be great if there was some maintenance and cleaning done. The view was fantastic, but the home itself was in poor repair. There was a strong mildew smell on the bottom level, the yard was overgrown, the advertising was misleading in some cases, the carpets needed shampooing,, cupboards needed to be wiped out, walls needed painted, etc. Wonder if the owner of the house knows the condition? Was way overpriced given the condition.

This is our third time renting the Sea Quell. The condo itself is in a beautiful location where we observed whales spouting. It is a comfortable convenient condo; however, the carpets were filthy and need to be replaced.
