This company is a scam!!
They advertised shoes as having orthopedic support and charged prices set for a good pair of supportive shoes. When arrived they were cheap less than anything they advertised. They do not have arch support or structured soles. When I contacted them for a refund and free return label for misleading advertising, they refused to give me a free return label. I am stuck with cheap shoes that don't even fit without spending more money to get nothing back!

Ordered usual size and received huge pair that won’t stay on my feet. Shoes are useless. Did receive a response to my return inquiry from Hong Kong, stating that I needed to send more information. Outfit fails to honor easy returns promise. I’ll never order from Pinerist site again. Scam, scam, scam. At least I now know to check unknown company on Trustpilot.

I ordered two pairs of shoes. I received queen sheets. On one pair of shoes I received an email a few days after ordering that one pair had been delivered. Not so. I sent an email and received an automated response. I have sent a second email after being notified that my order was delivered. That’s when I received the sheets. Will try to update final outcome. Sheets are not shoes!

Update; Purchased through PayPal. I opted for pending refund on one pair of shoes. Waiting on final determination on that. Seller has till December (!!!?) to resolve/refund this issue on both orders of shoes.

Final update; I purchased my shoes using PayPal. I took many screenshots of my purchases. I took screenshots of all communications to try and get my order. I filed a claim against Orthopedic Dakota aka, Modern Fashion. PayPal refunded all my money for both pair of shoes because of the documentation I submitted. My last communication with Modern Fashion is their claim that my two separate orders (shoes) was delivered in one order! I sent them pictures of their product (sheets) with their identifiers on the their product. They have no customer service!
Thank you PayPal for my full refund!

A zero rating is not possible. I had the same pattern of events. Buy for orthopedic quality, get cheap goods. Return cost absurd. I should have remembered to check Trustpilot.
Guess I'm out of practice. I did some snooping around (too late) and discovered they're selling shoes sold on Shein at 3 times the price. Just another scam from China.

These people did not s and me the second pair of shoes that I paid for. They did not answer my emails asking about it.

I purchased a pair of casual men's shoes from Orthopedics Dakota. I got an email 6/2 indicating the order was out for delivery. I got another email indicating the order was delivered. It had not been delivered. Later, when they arrived some time later, they were too small. I have had absolutely no success trying to get in touch with anyone for information on how to return these and get larger shoes. There is no response from this company. There is no customer service. It's a horrible company to buy from. Don't waste your money! I did. Stay away.

Do not buy from this company. Awful company. The shoes were like kids play shoes in quality, just terrible. When I asked for a return label - no label and I could return at my expense or take a 20 percent refund. They are a china company and the quality is AWFUL.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered the shoes. There was a red flag in the beginning, my bank sent a warning regarding my purchase. I ORDERED anyway. The shoes were of very poor quality. I sent them a note and they want me to send a picture of the shoes to see if I am eligible to return them. What a scam.

Scammers. Do not purchase anything from this company. I ordered a pair of shoes and it was absolutely nothing like what was advertised. And now they expect me to pay to return it.

DON’T DO IT!!! SCAM! Scam! Scam!! Fake cheap shoes. Heel broke after 1 wear. No replacement or refund received. Customer Service is a robot! SMH

Total scam! These are from China. They switch the name of shoes 9nce you order. You have to ship their crappy shoes back to China to get your money back! I'd rather burn them than to spend anymore money on them. Not orthopedic. No padding or arch support at all DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Actual rating is -10 stars. Not only did it take over a month to receive when I open the package I got sick from the horrible glue fumes that came off of them. Wanted to return them but you have to return them to China and the cost was more than the shoes. Around $80. Worst company ever a TOTAL SCAM!! There was nothing orthopedic about the shoes. Horrible company I will also be contacting the BBB.

SCAM ALERT!!!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars. I placed an order in December. The tracking of my package said it was on its way, then said it hadnt been mailed. It is from China. DO NOT BE FOOLED LIKE ME!!!

After many many months, they just stopped "reassuring" me that my boots were "on their way." No refund, no boots, no real human. It's a shame this company can advertise. They are a total scam.

False Advertising. These shoes are nothing like what were advertised. Cardboard and fake leather. Products shipped from China. It took forever to ship to me, and when the product arrived, it was clearly a much lower quality version of what had been advertised. Very poor quality. When I contacted them about a return, they gave me an address in Shenzhen, China, and said return shipping was up to me...and my refund upon return would be 20% of the value of my order.

Do not order from here. It's clearly a shifty false-advertising grift.

I ordered a pair of boots on Dec. 19,2024 and still haven't received them. I sent numerous emails but always get the same response. "The order has been shipped". They won't give me a refund or cancel the order. 0 stars in my opinion

I placed an order on January 29 for one pair of shoes. I have never received the shoes. I have requested the order to be cancelled and refund to my original form of payment, but no response.

So far I’ve received one pair of the three pair of shoes ordered. No arch support. Hardly any padding at all. Do not recommend.

Buyer beware. I also bought two pair (it was a promotion- buy 2, get a discount) and only one pair arrived. Responses to my inquiries were cordial but after 2 months, they ultimately reverted to claiming that both pair were shipped. The pair that did arrive don't fit.

I ordered two pairs of shoes. After more than a month, one arrived. It was the wrong shoe and the wrong size. I learned to return it I would pay to send it back to China and then get the refund. I took a 20% refund instead. The second pair never arrived. I received many friendly emails through this process and then realized they were just AI and automated. No personal customer service. All this with a very sophisticated website and cool shoes. Not sure what they are up to.
