No delivery & shocking customer service

Item ordered 30th November. Shipment by Royal Mail advised, however, it is now the 21st December & the product still has not been received. No response to email and cannot call the supplier. DO NOT USE!

Avoid at all costs

I cannot find words to describe how awful this company treats customers. Placed an order on 24 January and now 3 February and item still not received. Customer service a complete waste of time.

2 different products were ordered

2 different products were ordered, when the first part of the order was delivered 2 items were damaged making them unusable the other 2 were partly damaged, they all looked like someone had found them at the back of their garage. After emailing millets and waiting there was zero correspondence which is poor.
Onto the second item, waiting for nearly a month and nothing turning up I'm now waiting on a refund as it appears the items are " missing in transit".
Absolutely shocking service.

Totally useless

Totally useless. You order your items and a week has passed and they still are not dispatched! Looks like this is a common occurrence. Called customer services who said "we dont know why it hasnt been dispatched". Totally clueless. It's now been 10 days and it's still not been sent. Will never use Millets again.

i would never order again off millets…

i would never order again off millets online,items were great, but how long it takes for them to dispatch the items is a joke. then the delivery company dropped it off at completely different address. wrote and informed millets that i had not got my items, sent them a picture of a map were dhl had delivered to, wrong house wrong street. they just just replied that it show on their system that the items had been delivered on the 15th, yes i know it got delivered on the 15th, but to wrong address, they even told me to go and check with my neighbours,. the delivery company did end up getting my items back,and dropping them off last night the 19th. didn’t get to use the items for what i purchased them far, they came to late

I ordered some tent pegs as I was due…

I ordered some tent pegs as I was due to use my tent and had lost the pegs. Everything was going fine, They told me they will be with me between Thurs and Sun. Great as I was leaving the following Thursday. Having not received them by Monday. I checked with the online checking system they have, this came up blank. I checked with the delivery company using the details they gave me and could see they had not received the package to deliver it, I e-mailed them asking for an update. I did not hear anything so called them up and asked what was going on. They told me there had been a "miss communication" between them and the delivery company and my only options were to either go to a store over 20 miles away and by some direct from their store, or get them sent again. Both options following a refund. They refused to send them out in a timeframe that they would get to me in time so I have had to go to a competitor and get them next day delivery from them. I struggle to believe them, why would they offer me a refund and tell me to reorder if the package had been sent and why would the delivery company lie to me!

Wish I had read these reviews before…

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering from Millets. We are now more than four weeks since they delivered a reclining chair to me instead of the camping kitchen I actually ordered...

It's a really nice chair- but I can't cook on it 😡

I contacted customer service immediately and was told to package it back up and return to store or nearest Yodel delivery store.. Not really an option as it's a huge box, bulky and heavy, and I have stuff delivered to avoid going into crowded shops!

I was then told they would arrange a courier to collect - that was four weeks ago and several emails later.

I just keep going round in circles with different people obviously not communicating or properly reading the email thread.

Don't buy from Millets unless you have hours to spend sorting out a mistake that they made...

Terrible customer service online, my friend bought a coat for my birthday which didn’t get delivered, after numerous emails back and fourth still no help in receiving a refund or another coat. So all my friends put money into getting me a birthday present and I haven’t received anything. Will never ever buy from here

Item received does not match the image on the Millets website

*****BUYERS BEWARE*****

After purchasing a new Berghaus Arrow 30 rucksack, and choosing the colour that I particularly liked, Millets decided to send me a different colour. The colour wasn't even shown as an option when I ordered the rucksack, so how I ended up receiving it is a mystery.

I had already waited a little while for the rucksack to be sent from the warehouse, so it's rather disappointing to say the least.

Poor website design/control, or poor packing at the Millets warehouse?? - whatever the issue, I've now got to either make contact and jump through whatever hoops Millets decide to put in the way, or simply keep the rucksack and get on with it.

Poor show, Millets...poor show!

Fareham branch- fantastic customer service

Brilliant customer service again from Millets/Blacks staff. Assisted by Megan today at Fareham branch who was endlessly helpful and patient even though the store got quite busy. Really happy with my purchase of Merrell boots and store had very good stock, which helped but staff are also helpful at locating stock of they don't have it.

Avoid Millets online, poor customer service

Purchased a tent for my Family, 6 days later, still no item arrived. Strings of computer generated texts saying still not dispatched.
After calling customers services, I would avoid buying from Millet at all cost. Awful customer service, unhelpful staff, with no clue, no manger to speak to.
Customer service eventually terminate the call as they say they can’t help you.
Another big company happy to take your cash, but don’t value customers or take any pride on the service they provide.
Don’t give them your money is my advise, go elsewhere.

Visited Millets in Eastbourne

Visited Millets in Eastbourne, East Sussex to buy some walking boots. Was assisted by Phil who was really helpful and very informative about what type of walking boot I needed. Was very happy with my purchase and will visit the store again.

Missing item a bag 25L It's a major drama filling in forms - 10 days pass (supposedly the timescale) I email them get an email back saying I'm missing the tracking number (the order number is on the form) now I've got to probably wait another 10 days to replace an £8,50 bag - more trouble than the missing bag is worth never seen such a drama over a missing item of low value

I will never buy from Millets ever…

I will never buy from Millets ever again. I have received a refund for the jacket, after 6 weeks and many e-mails but surprise, surprise no refund for the postage which they insisted on being tracked at a cost of £ 8.95! Today the e-mail I sent, following the thread of the last few weeks, was returned..... I guess I’m just one of the many but I’m so cross I’m going to continue to contact them. UPDATE. 07/04/21 I have been called and given my refund for the postage!!! Mixed feelings, obviously chuffed to get the refund but shouldn’t really have to jump through hoops to receive it.

Excellent service…

I ordered a ladies Craghopper outdoor coat. With both discounts, the price was very good and I had free delivery. It came the very next day and the quality is excellent.

Poor service illegal return policy

Poor illegal? return policy
I sent 2 seperate orders back they were recived on 31st jan 2021 and 1st feb 2021 today i had a refund for the first item 21 days later still waiting for the second order refund .
I have been messaging millets on facebook and email and got fobbed off everytime saying how it can take 21 days etc very poor millets very poor .
Actually the law states Your refund should be paid within 14 days of your return being received .
Will not use millets again
