WOWSER....amazing service

Ordered a pair of boots yesterday at approx 3pm and they were delivered before 2.30 today. Customer service were prompt when I queried delivery time and responded in minutes. Wish I could score more than 5 ⭐ Well done all concerned

Excellent service, bought a pair of mongrel soft toe caps boots delivered a pair of steel caps. Within 18 hours new soft toe delivered.

10/10 service

Thank you to your team for all there help I sent back a pair of mens redbacks twice as my partner thought he needed bigger then wasn’t sure if was right for him, now I’ve exchanged for a womens pair. Honestly 10/10 for service and prompt delivery, there is nothing more annoying than a customer keep sending back returns and changing there mind. So thank you again for your help and patiences! 😁😁 I recommend everyone to shop with this company, always excellent service!

Fantastic service

Fantastic service, I've ordered a pair or red backs and a pastle hoodie, and all have been absolutely fantastic, I was absolutely delighted to have a very short and sweet and extremely helpful phone call with one of your staff members, I needed a pair of redback boots fast and they came exactly when I needed them, thank you very much, and I will once again in the future will look to outback outfitters for some fantastic and quality Farm gear.
And could not recommended them more.

Horrendous customer services

We have been to the Royal Welsh Horse and Agr Show for the past 3 days.
My son and partner found the above store and enquired about a pair of mongrel boots. He had 2 pairs of size 6 put by for us as I wasn’t at the show until the following day the chap said yes that’s ok we will hold them for you. My partner ask the price he was told £70. He sent my son back to check the price he was also told £70.
I arrived at the show the next day and went to the store to try on the boots etc. I brought them as they were really comfortable and fit well.
I got to the till and was told it’s £70.00 plus VAT I was shocked as this took them to £84 not £70 I questioned this and was told I need to pay VAT. I was told along with my son and partner they were £70 when I tried them on. There was no signs stating this VAT was to be added to the price etc
This had been on my mind so we went back today to speak to them and see if we can resolve this as my partner also wanted a pair for himself. On arriving to the store we didn’t see any signs stating any prices or anything saying prices are not inclusive of VAT.
I asked to speak with the manager, I told her our about our experience she didn’t too bothered and replied ‘ we are at a show where 90% of the people here are farmers, and this is how they work!’ And anyway they can claim the vat so I don’t see what the issue is. At that point the chap who spoke to my son, partner and myself the day before over heard this conversation and came over to apologises I then went on to say that the Agri supplier such as Mole valley, Wynnstay, Arthur Johns, HFS and all the stalls at the Royal Welsh etc all trade as prices inc VAT we are small farmers but are not VAT registered so can’t claim anything back.
At that point the manager walked off laughing, she then spoke to another colleague and she then started laughing, mocking us and quit frankly rude and very unprofessional. She then said to us “ look go away, we are all tired and want to go home”
All the above took place in font of my 3 children and other members of the public. I feel very unhappy with the experience.
We have had a look at their website and it states all prices inc VAT.

Incredibly fast shipping and delivery

Ordered a pair of boots at 15:43. Received an email at 16:19 to say the package was on its way. Assumed this was just an automated message; however, when I arrived home from work the following day, the boots were already delivered to the front door! Must've actually shipped at that time. Incredibly fast shipping and delivery. Well pleased!

Unable to contact by phone or email

Unable to contact by phone or email. Has taken my money via paypal, no sign of my boots. Totally fraudulent website. Theft of money and done a runner.
Will be reporting to dispute resolution company and tocredit card company for theft.

Avoid like the plague

Ordered 2 items listed as 'in stock'.
12 days later - no sign of them & no update on the order.
Wrote cancelling the order - no reply.
Sent the cancellation (& refund request) again via PayPal - no reply.
Greatly regret not looking at previous 2 reviews.

Update -
After PayPal contacted him, Mr Hoyles finally contacted me (by phone).
He admitted that 1 of the items had not actually been in stock, but that he had hoped to get more sometime in November, which now wasn't going to be the case (he hadn't previously bothered to alert me to the situation so that I could decide what to do about my order & the money now sitting in his bank account).
He apologized & it was agreed that he would send 1 item & issue a refund for the other. Whilst very poor business practice, I accepted that it had all been a mistake which he regreted so took him at his word.
Unfortunately, it seems that he told PayPal that BOTH items had been 'shipped' & mean time NO sign of a REFUND (24 hours after he told me he would arrange it).
This left me in a situation where had I accepted delivery of the 1 item, PayPal would have been under the impression that all of the order had been delivered. Consequently, I refused the delivery.
I await further developments, whilst feeling a fool for being so naive.

Absolutely clueless, just don't bother

EDIT: You can probably skip the original review and go straight the sarcastic and condescending reply given by the retailer to get an idea of exactly who you're dealing with.

The time to gently refer me to your returns policy so that I knew what exactly you expected to receive back with my return was when I contacted you four separate times (which you ignored), not after I've been forced to file a claim with PayPal against you and have already sent the item back as per the vague instructions you provided through the PayPal case.

I purchased an item from this business as a gift for a family member at the beginning of June 2021. On 13th June, the recipient reported it was too small and needed it to be exchanged for a different size.

On that same day, I sent the retailer an email requesting a refund with no response. On 17th June, I attempted to contact them via the mobile number on their website and left a voicemail with no response. On 18th June, I attempted to call again but did not get connected. The same day, I sent them an additional email with no response.

On that same day, I decided to open a PayPal dispute as this was bound to get their attention. Lo and behold, they suddenly become responsive, blame their lack of contact on busyness and suggest I should have sent the item back to them on my own initiative... Without any confirmation that they would accept receipt of the return or provide a refund/exchange.

After some back-and-forth, the representative informs me of their postal address and advises me they will not pay the return postage. Frustratingly, that means I now have to shell out for 'Signed For' postage as I don't trust these charlatans to honour their agreement to provide a refund.

I'm ever so glad I did, as the item was delivered and signed for on 3rd July. It is now 7th July and I have not received any confirmation, much less a refund. I have now escalated the dispute to a claim.

Want to know why small online retailers are being eaten alive by mega-corporations? It's because this is the kind of experience which they consider acceptable. Just don't bother.

Unfortunately if you send an item back to us without the original receipt enclosed or any form of identity then we simply have no idea who sent the item back. We receive multiple items back on a daily basis that are dealt with and refunded or exchanged the very same day as 99.9% of customer read our returns policy and return the item with proof of purchase. We can only assume the item we received without any of the above was from yourself. Your refund has been issued in full.

Steals designs off other businesses

Steals designs off other businesses, and claims them to be their own original design. When called out on social media they shut down comments on Instagram, and closed their Facebook so their loyal fans didn’t find out what a fraud they are.
Makes you wonder how many of their “original” designs are stollen from other international labels.

Redback boots . BOOTS WILL BE SENT TOMORROW - ALL GOOD

PLEASE IGNORE THE REVIEW BELOW!
ALL GOOD - SPOKEN TO A REALLY HELPFUL CHAP. BOOTS WILL BE SENT OUT TOMORROW. THE SIZE DID NOT SHOW ON THE ORDER AND MY BOSS DID NOT READ HIS EMAIL:) NOT SURE WHY THE LANDLINE NUMBER DOES NOT WORK BUT PANIC OVER.

My boss ordered some Redback boots on Feb 7th 2020. Now March 2nd and no boots have arrived. The landline number on the website does not ring - as if not a real number - and the mobile number just goes to voicemail any time we try.
This is beginning to seem scam-like. Is the company still trading?
Will update this if I get the boots or a refund.

Super company

Iv ordered from this company for just over two years now for my personal self and for my employees. As a company owner I’m 100% satisfied with my dealings from outback outfitters, a very well run and friendly company that has supplied us with fantastic outdoor clothing and prompt delivery times. Will definitely Carry on purchasing from them.
