Customer for 16 years, customer support is still awful

Been using ovh for 16 years, since being an original beta tester. The customer service was always pretty poor as they were unmanaged servers, but it didn't really matter because the price was great and the product was great.
However over time the price has been going up, despite the constant promises of cheaper and cheaper servers as standard. And the lack of customer service is growing to be more of an issue.
Over a week ago, OVH booted my server into a recovery OS and instead of sending me the password sent me a link. When trying to use this link to get the password, it errors out as being "unavailable". Trying to contact support to get the password to my server as resulted in nothing but broken English and instructions to login to the control panel which doesn't work. As I approach 2 weeks without access to my server I'm going to have to reinstall on top of it and lose all my data without even having access to scp my data off of it.

Would not recommend this company to anyone

30 Nov 2021 14:04:14 – original order.
I received the authCode from customersupport-ovh.co.uk on 30/11/2021 14:02 which was applied straightaway. Order was then cancelled as OVH failed to take/accept payment of £0.00 for the transfer.

06 Dec 2021 – 2nd order
Received the authCode from customersupport-ovh.co.uk on 06/12/2021 00:06 which again was applied straightaway. But again the same error where OVH would not accept the £0.00 transfer payment. After which the ticket support were opened up.

However, now the TAG had been changed from 123-REG to OVH-fr at some point after 6th December 2021. After repeated attempts to sort this matter out, it was clear that OVH had no clue what they were saying. As OVH kept on saying to look out for a new authCode, but I fail to understand why I would be needing a new authCode when the domain is already with the OVH-fr TAG. I was trying to move my domain to OVH.

After getting in contact with Nominet, it was clear the domain was with OVH-fr, as this was the TAG on it. So OVH had completed the transfer but were keeping the domain away from my account. The only way to take control over my own domain was to pay Nominet £12.00 fee to get the domain released away from OVH.

So please explain how you still believe that it’s not OVHcloud at fault from your ‘thorough verification’?

SINCE OVH HAVE STOPPED REPLYING TO ME - 16 DAYS SINCE LAST CONTACT. TICKET 3456559

UPDATE 31/01/2022 - after a month, they finally replied the following:

'Thank you for your patience. Your request has been taken care of.

After having analyzed your request your claim concerns the operation paid on the registry Nominet.

Therefore, we are not in a position to respond favorably to your request for compensation, we will not cover the indicated fee.'

Be very careful if you use this company, they will take your domain from you and keep it in their control, to which you'll have to pay £12 fee to Nominet to get it released from this horrible company.
