Reliable company

They provide monthly information about your energy consumption, very clear, end of the year review of your consumption and they make the needed adjustments, if you have overpaid you will receive money back.

When everything runs its fine

When everything runs its fine. But when you need them, for example when their mobile app is fooling you, they are nowhere. Really awfull support. And their callback promiss they dont keep.

Update after response Oxxio;

If you give the option for a callback; call back. 7 attempts didnt work.

Horrible customer service, unfunctioning app

Although I applied with my own IBAN number to get a contract with Oxxio, they charged a different IBAN. After receiving a complaint from the IBAN holder I contacted them to own their mistake and correct the IBAN. They refused to accept their mistake and although they confirmed they changed the IBAN, it is still the same incorrect IBAN.

Oxxio are liars and thieves.

Oxxio has owed myself and my partner EUR500 for almost - 1 year, we have called them over 20 times, and emailed over 10 times.

Each time they give us a poor excuse such as “oh my colleague forgot to do this”
OR
“Yes by next week you’ll have the money”

They owe the money to us as they forgot to switch our contract, and we incurred additional costs with another company. Oxxio was found liable and needed to pay us back.

We have threatened them with lawyers ( even sent a legal letter) and still no effort to pay us back.

I suspect they’re banking on people not being able to afford the legal fees to sue them.

Either way, if you can , avoid this company at all costs, they’re con artists and thieves.

Not even worth a single star

Not even worth a single star. They overcharge and demanded I pay an extra €1,400 on top of regular monthly bills for an apartment that’s currently unoccupied. Their customer service deserves 0 stars. I recommend staying far away from this company. They’re simply resellers for Eneco with no energy production of their own.

The worst company and customer service ever

Had a fixed contract with them and after relocation they forget to move my energy contract to new home while I had inform them 2 month in advance😳.

2 years after my energy contract they charged me with over 1900 euros for end year annual bills based on their assumed wrong numbers, while I gave them correct numbers and they refused to fix it, hundreds of hours sending email with documents and calls over phone and no solution. The most stupid customer service ever. had to take lawyer to fix part of the bill through firm company.
Never trust them.

Stay far, far away from this company!

Stay far away from this company!! When you need them, they are not there. They charge you based on estimates. When you paid to much and you want your money back, because you did not used much energy, you cannot reach them. They just ignore you! Terrible! For email contact they take 4 weeks to give you an answer!! Not 1 or 2 day's, but 4 weeks!

I was a loyal customer of Oxxio for…

I was a loyal customer of Oxxio for many year. Recently I recognized that what they charge me for electricity is way above the market price. I calculate on their website how much should I pay as a new customer, and I got a price. I got an offer 48% less!
So this is the way they treat their existing customers: no email, notification that "Hey, you could get a better price".

All they was replying to my contact: Yeah, we can give it to you IF you ask it.

Well, no doubt I have choosen another supplier.

Oxxio, simple and terrible

This is going to be very simple:
Oxxio delivers Electricity, Gas and Internet. It all works. But they scam you wherever they can. I do not have proof of course, because it always seems coincidental but it becomes very clear if you are ever their client.

Experience:
1 - I asked for the Electricity+Gas+Internet package from oxxio only because this way i would get internet for 6 months for free. They then put me in an only E+G contract because they apparently work with KPN and KPN could not deliver internet to my house. Bummer.
I actually tried KPN. And guess what? It worked.
So basically they lied to get me into a worse contract. cant prove it of course.
2 - through their app you can write down your consumption every month and adjust the amount you pay. If you dont put it in every month they calculate it for you. Great! For june this year I was on vacation and my consumption was basically 0. they calculated? 1500kWh. thats more than I use in a year.
Great! can I prove it is deliberate? no...
3 - at the end of a year you get your year-bill. for my year bill they had to return 35% of the money they took through the monthly payments made. Since I paid too much (35%!!) you'd think they would reduce the monthly payments.... they increased them by 10%.
4 - you can adjust the monthly payments in the app. you put in a new number that is >50€ and click "adjust". it then says: oh sorry there was an error... i have tried this multiple times, over a time span of half a year. same result. convenient.

i am now leaving the netherlands. so this is a full review now. they deliver, they give back your money, they dont break the law. but they sure treat you worse than i have ever been treated by as a customer.

Fraudulent company

I don't understand how this scamming fraudulent company still exist and get away with it. They claimed that their internet service is provided by kpn. I called Kpn they said that is not true. Their customer service is the worst. This company need to be sued for fraud and scam.

Not good

I had decided to join but they move my telephone number from Bell 2 weeks before the technicien visit. Result of their mistake, many headaches , screw up with Bell. I cancelled the subscription with oxio and I have lost all my special packages with Bell. Stay away, they are amateurs riding on the back of Vidéotron.

i just started an internet and…

i just started an internet and landline/telephone contract with this company...i discovered, a week ago, that i don't have phone service. and i have no cell phone, as well. so i tried contacting Oxxio through the internet...for days now...nothing...they''re supposed to call me back within the hour, but...i''m not sure i can GET calls, either...i haven''t had any since the service, supposedly, began...every time i tried connecting to their ''chat'' service it said there was noone available...at LEAST 15 times over the last week at different times of the day...TERRIBLE company! i might have to switch internet/telephone companies yet again...this is after receiving REALly bad service from telfort. what IS it with these companies here?
i''m writing again at least a month later...most unhelpful customer service personnel imaginable...i asked for an itemized bill...they gave me another phone number/people to contact. i did that and THOSE people told me to call Oxxio...????????????
avoid this company if possible...i''m changinga aGAIN, asap...

Nonexistent customer service

Nonexistent customer service - there is no reasonable way to reach Oxxio in writing. At the time of writing they refuse all emails: from the single working email address we found, the only answer we got was to "use the online chat". Now the chat doesn't work either, it's 11:30 on a Tuesday and now the chatbot just says "oops, noone is available right now" and just doesn't do anything. No explanation is given and I have no idea when or if ever someone will be available. I am not willing to explain the same issue over and over again via phone and have to waste 30 minutes of my time every time just waiting.

Otherwise the representatives are friendly and helpful, if you are able to actually get in contact with any of them.
