Excellent company!
Chose this company based on the reviews, as the price was just as low as other companies, the positive reviews/ reputation and honest advice with knowledge and relaxed sales were what held them apart.
The reviews were spot on, very happy with my install and the team and the communication between the company and myself.

So after speaking to other solar companies I was reccomended P4 and cannot stress enough how easy it was to deal with them, So started with the first phone call to Oli, who was knowledgeable and understood what we were looking for, I discussed the other quotes I had recieved from other companies which he questioned! Which ended up saving me money. He quoted me over the one and checked our address and details to check the roof spaces, He
then sent out the team to do a survey to clarify he had quoted correctly. (He had) We where very happy with the quote and information given and booked installation! On installation the fitters where brilliant, Jackson, Dylan and the team worked quickly and got it done in a day! The electrical worked was signed off and the App used was explained! I even had further support from Justin in the office who gave me more information about the app! I would highly reccomend P4 & their team as the service I have received has been second to non! When you are investing in something like solar the service needs to be there and it was! Well done guys!!

My husband mainly dealt with the negotiations of the solar package. On the day of the installation, I was on 'making brews' duty for the lads working. Jackson, Dylan and Harry (electrician) sorry have missed a couple off! But what a superb team, professional, respectful and really excellent guys. The job is so clean and tidy and the after sales side of things has been just as good. I cannot recommend them highly enough. There is so much competition out there now in this field, it's very reasurring to work with a company that really cares and have got a group of fantastic installers, who share those values. Thank you all.

P4S are just outstanding!
The lengths Justin has gone, to correct a mistake made by a EV charger installation (and the addition of a new broadband router) was just outstanding. He’s sorted out what no one else could.
To say a it’s a great after installation service is under selling the P4S team’s commitment, expertise and service to their customers- even years later.
I live on my own and have a disability- so to know that experts like Justin, who are experienced , proactive and also act with kindness and integrity is particularly welcome. Nothing is too much trouble.
I cannot rate P4S highly enough- just outstanding!

When obtaining quotes for pricing and recommendations of a suitable solar and battery system for our bungalow P4Solar were the outstanding option in both regards.
No hard sell - from survey they confirmed a bespoke system as most suitable and explained why in a detailed report.
The fitting team were efficient, polite and friendly and the whole process ran smoothly - a small issue with one of the batteries was resolved quickly.
The controlling app is straightforward and easy to use. P4 Solar admin are very helpful and advised they will set up Octopus export tariffs on the app if needs be.
The system is now providing us with free electricity on every day since being fitted ( apart from standing charge) and I would recommend anyone considering solar panels and or batteries to contact P4 Solar for a quote.

Great experience with P4. Fred Maddocks, the Operational Director of P4, is particularly worth praise, who has exceptionally strong knowledge on optimising solar and battery systems that deliver performance and financial returns. The P4 installation team is brilliant, too. They finished a rather comprehensive system (3 arrays on 3 roofs) within one day. Such efficient.

P4Solar were fantastic the whole way through, from answering a lot of questions and helping me plan our system, to quick and informative installation, to finally accommodating some variance in payments. Highly recommend.

I had solar, batteries, inverter and an EV charger installed by P4 Solar and the experience was fantastic. Everything was installed in 1 day and the scaffolding was up for less than 48 hours so we were back to normal again in no time. The team of installers were amazing, no fuss, no issues, just got on with everything. My EV charger is away from the house which was a more complex run and other companies either would not do it or added a lot more money on the quote but this wasn't a problem at all for P4 and they ran it under my garden without any issue, you'd never even know there was a cable run it is hidden completely.

I'm really happy with the Hanchu system they installed and everything is working exactly as it was described to me in the initial meeting with Fred. There was an issue with stock prior to the install but they were able to get a favourable deal on an alternative for me which I really appreciated. I think P4 went above and beyond on the whole experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a solar system.

I was initially nervous about choosing a company for my domestic solar installation, but P4 Solar quickly put those concerns to rest. From the outset, Oli was an excellent account manager: always available to answer questions and consistently clear and honest in his communication throughout the process.

Before committing, I visited a commercial solar and battery installation completed by P4 Solar. Seeing a larger system (around 50 panels), along with neat cable runs and a tidy inverter and battery setup, helped me understand the quality of their work and what to expect from my own install. The business owners were also happy with the outcome, which added further reassurance. This was an important step in validating the company’s credentials and gave me confidence in the system recommended during the quoting process.

No question ever felt too small or stupid, which I really appreciated. Any ideas or suggestions I had were listened to, and the team were happy to provide alternative quotes and equipment options to ensure the system was tailored to what I actually wanted.

When it came to installation, the team (Jackson, Dylan, Ben, Adam and Harry) were excellent. They worked hard, kept everything clean and tidy, and communicated well throughout. Behind the scenes, Chloe, Rachel and Justin also played a big part in keeping everything running smoothly. Documentation (warranties, insurance and certificates) were all provided promptly after the installation.

I’d strongly recommend others check out their Facebook page, where they regularly share local domestic and commercial installs you can view for yourself. Hopefully this helps reassure anyone considering solar in West Yorkshire. My experience from start to finish has been excellent.

Recent power outages at our house caused problems with our solar system (which was installed approximately 12 months ago). On both occasions we phoned Justin at P4 who very quickly diagnosed the issues and talked us through the steps to fix them. Great after-sales service! Thank you.

Very impressed with the professional service from all the P4 Solar staff who I have communicated with - e.g. prompt and detailed responses from Fred to all my questions pre-install, the installation team were a pleasure to deal with and Justin was very helpful when we needed assistance with the app. So overall a very positive experience - we are pleased with the PV generation so far and have already recommended P4 Solar to friends.

We decided to go with P4 partly because they were local. The initial installation went well and everything seemed fine with the remarkable Sigenergy equipment and its app. Two complications were that we had three phase electricity supply and existing solar panels on a Feed In Tariff (FIT). Our energy supplier was and still is Utility Warehouse. Their FIT department seemed unaware of Sigenergy and its highly detailed app. There followed dozens of tedious emails between us and UW, all cc’d to the helpfully patient people at P4. It soon became clear that our consumption merited an extra 10 kWh battery which was fitted promptly and efficiently. This enabled cheap rate electricity to power entire winter days with little or no solar. A final complication was UW’s insistence on an extra solar meter to be fitted. This complicated device was obligingly fitted by P4 at no extra cost to us. Altogether excellent and personal service from real people at P4, in stark contrast to UW where we had to deal with AI constructed emails, from seemingly imaginary people unobtainable by phone.

Having had a trouble free solar system for almost three years I experienced a communications breakdown with my inverter. I could not get online and the problem appeared to have been caused by my internet provider upgrading my hub. A new hub was not recognised by the inverter dongle so a more modern one was required. My original installer wanted a large amount of money upfront before they would send someone to fit a new dongle. I turned to Google and found P4 Solar and spoke to Peter who promptly arranged for Justin to deal with the problem. The quote for the job was a sensible amount and was carried out as soon as a replacement dongle was obtained. Justin replaced the part and went to great lengths to explain how I can get the best out of my solar system. I have now transferred my account/station to P4`s portal. P4 are a family business and it shows in the warm and friendly way they operate.

The entire process, from initial quotation and communication to final installation, was executed with exceptional professionalism and proficiency.

No pressure sales process. Install was quick and efficient. I had a couple of post-install niggles which were rapidly addressed - and I really can't fault the experience at all. PV generation has been great so far and it's only March. Will easily pay for itself. Highly recommended.

What more positive comments can I say that all the other P4 Solar customers haven’t already said? P4 is a brilliant business!
P4 bettered two alternative quotes by some margin. There was also genuine care from the whole team and a deep desire to ensure the whole solar design, installation, payment, satisfaction and aftercare processes ran perfectly, which they did.
I’d like to thank Peter, Fred, Ben, Jackson, Dylan, James and Chloe, (and a super efficient scaffolding team,) for a truely great solar installation purchasing experience. The whole PV & battery system looks professional and works perfectly. British business at its best!
