I have recently had solar panels and battery storage installed by P4 Solar. The service I received was excellent.
Being a locally based firm they were able to quickly visit my property and discuss options and answer any questions and concerns I had. They then produced a detailed design and competitive quote.
Communication with the company has been easy, professional and friendly throughout and it is reassuring to know that if I have any issues in the future they are easy to contact for assistance or advice.
I would most definitely recommend this company.

P4Solar were excellent from start to finish. They survey to assess the right design and payback was informative and helped us modify the design to allow for EV and heat pump. The team who installed were friendly and efficient and we had an after care meeting with Justin to run through how it all worked including the App. First rate and highly recommend to others.

After a far from satisfactory experience with a different company I approached P4Solar with some trepidation. However I was reassured by Freddie's knowledge and openness and was able to arrange an upgrade from my existing home battery to a full solar installation within a matter of days as scaffolding was already in place. The installation team were first class, working quickly and tidily and removing all the packaging etc. They were done within the morning with the electrician completing the install the same afternoon.
I'm really pleased with the result and feel confident that P4 will provide the sort of support which was sadly lacking in their competitor

We had 20 panels and 2 batteries installed in December 2024 by P4 Solar.
The installers were very polite and took pride in their work. There was a battery issue when they tried testing the system for the first time but the issue was resolved very quickly with the batteries being swapped out the following day.
The customer service has been very good, and when we have had any doubts on how to use the app they have replied very quickly with help and guidance.
Our reason for the delay on reviewing P4 Solar is because we wanted to see how the system performed over time. We are very pleased with the system, since the installation back in December our monthly electric bill has been vastly reduced(our daily cost is mostly the standing charge). Also, we have already sent over 5000 KWh back to the grid meaning we are already due nearly £1000 back from our supplier.
We would definitely recommend P4 Solar, in fact we did recommend them to my son who has now had his outdated system replaced by P4 Solar and he managed to keep his ridiculously high payback tariff for selling back to the grid.

P4 installed my solar panels and batteries in December 2022 and the system has worked brilliantly since then. I recently changed wifi provider and P4 helped get the system set up with the new router including a visit to upgrade the dongle and firmware for the battery system. Aftersales support is one of those things that you don’t always think about when you buy a solar system but P4 have been excellent in this and are always happy to provide support, which is invaluable when you need it.

This company was brilliant, professional and honest throughout. Very competitive quote and a first class job. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they kept me fully informed throughout the process. Installation was done in just one day and a minor crack in one of my roof tiles was sorted immediately without any fuss. I am a complete idiot with things technical so telephone support at all times of the day and evening has been invaluable, not that it was too hard to follow. If I can follow it then anyone can. Great company, highly recommend

P4 have just installed my solar panels and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they were extremely easy to deal with. The quote was competitively priced, and the communication throughout the process was excellent.

Peter and team have been super helpful and committed to having a happy customer from start to finish. From taking the time to explain the rationale for their system design, to being patient as we slogged through the planning process, to ensuring the system got installed to our satisfaction, they're been a great company to work with. It's fair to say our install didn't go smoothly - one issue can be chalked down to experience all round, the other could have been avoided - but the important point is the bumps in the road were dealt with extremely professionally and we figured it out together. Peter and team do things properly - they know their stuff, they take care and pride in the work and they trade on their reputation - particularly refreshing in a industry which has more than it's fair share of, shall we say, less reputable installers. Highly recommended.

Was about to give up on my dream of solar with the amount of cowboys and conmen that were giving me quotes. P4 was my last attempt at finding someone I was willing to trust with my house and also my money.

Every aspect of my experience was outstanding.

Great experience with P4. Solar install was on time, commissioned in a day and everybody involved was great to deal with. System was explained to me and handover was simple.

I had a range of quotes and visits from installers and went for P4 who were local to me and seemed to be the ones most keen to get a solar solution to fit my needs. They gave an excellent initial quote and then I realised I could afford more panels as a result and maxed out on what I could afford, going for a south and north array. An excellent visit from Peter initially and then Fred gave great support at each stage. The installation was set up very quickly and very efficiently. Scaffolders, electricians and the roofers were all very professional and courteous and all willing to explain the install. It was a very exciting day watching them go up. It was brilliant watching it start to work immediately generating electricity from the sun! It's a daunting thing to find a company you can trust with a big wedge of your hard earned savings but P4 were worthy of that trust. At the end of it all, I really wondered what I was fretting about. Chuffed to bits with it all and looking forward to reaping the benefits of my investment.

Very professional and install went smoothly overall. There was a problem with a part but they got it resolved with the supplier quickly and fixed up. Would recommend!
