IT monitoring for all kinds of infrastructures

I had a great experience using this awesome product. It is so simple to understand and I am sure most users will attest to this fact. Status updates and info about other accounts logging onto the network are great.

I've been using PRTG in a number of different organizations/ industries for many years. I rely on the reporting / alerting and visual output of this information every for every second of each business day! I will always feel comfortable knowing that this information keeps me in a Job, and shows my co-workers and management team that I have a full understanding of all the important infrastructure and its status supporting the business.

PRTG is amazing! It offers so many features in terms of what it can monitor. It supports more platforms than I've even heard of! In addition to its native sensor support, it offers valuable options for custom sensors (SNMP, custom scripts, REST APIs, etc.). I have recently set up PRTG for high-availability, and the deployment was one of the easiest I've done. Plus their HA offering is free!

Honestly, I didn't even pick PRTG as my org's NMS solution. I inherited it from my predecessor. Once I became acclimated, I quickly began to use it to monitor EVERYTHING. When my day starts, and I've gotten on VPN, the first browser tab I open is PRTG – and it stays open until I log off for the night. I cannot praise this product enough! To anyone in need of a monitoring tool for their IT infrastructure, take advantage of Paessler's offering of 100 sensors for free and see if the product is right for you.

One wish.... why a user cannot setup the UI language in the Settings? Can we have this please?

The PRTG is a really complete monitoring solution. Easy to understand and also easy to start using. Once you get and master the basic monitoring, you start seeing more and detailed ways to get a complete picture of your infrastructure and pin point specific parts that need attention.

You can monitor a lot of aspects of your business, from API's, networking equipment, ISPs, etc.

Customer service is very bad. There are no solutions for them. we have to troubleshoot and find a solution.

too many issues with install, account management, crashes, many reinstalls. very difficult and confusing support.

PRTG network monitoring is must have tool for your network.
On a single dashboard, you can have complete details of the infrastructure.

Tools and features are great and cover everything we need to monitor. The interface is very intuitive and monitoring is easy to configure. This platform is far superior to Solar Winds, Cisco and other monitoring solutions we have tested. Support is responsive although given the time zone differenced responses can be delayed about 12 hours.

Liked the per elements license which is more applicable to our company, custom dashboards, notifications, and simplicity.
The only lacking on this software is the custom reporting side. It lacks customization of reports, which are needed the most during management reporting.

If possible please include these to future updates:
->able to export to excel the elements in the Libraries.
->Custom reporting like creating tabular format of all devices in row and sensors at the column. The idea is to see each device's performance based on the elements.

I downloaded this so I can have analytics and monitoring for my home network and this is perfect. It has a lot of really cool features and I am just getting started. I look forward to seeing what elese I can do with this product.

PRTG doesn't scale past 20k-30k sensors. Their "IT Ops Board" is really a mess.

Thank you for making 100 sensors completely free with no drawbacks for home- and private-use! Thanks to PRTG I stay on top of my servers status and can react accordingly. Error messages thrown from sensors are often descriptive so one doesn't need to manually dig up log files. The community and PRTG forums also helps a fair share when I was stuck on an SSH connection issue and I was able to fix it after all.

2 Years and counting with excelent experience.

It was febraury 2020 when i meet PRTG, i was in another company, now in a new company i've successful convinces my bosses to buy a year license due the excelent service.

So far it's nice. I was able to set up small network monitoring in less than an hour, and am impressed with how simple, and how low resources are needed to run. too bad that they have not made a mini version to run on raspberry pi

First impression is jaw-dropping.
All I did was install it, and it went out and crawled our network and found assets and then installed sensors and then built the dashboards. I got further in my sleep with this product than I have during my waking hours with similar products I have been vetting.

I have been using PRTG for over a decade and it is by far the more reliable and easy to configure compared to my other platforms. The reports and alerts are easy to generate and are vastly configurable by date and time and have great granularity. This is a great cost affective platform with great support. Thanks for making monitoring my landscape a breeze.
