Palazzo Malvisi at Ravenna is the ideal place to combine an effective Italian language course with a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Our mission is to offer students qualified teachers, up-to-date teaching methods and a warm environment Art, culture and the most beautiful mosaics in the world are all contained in the small but wonderful city of Ravenna. Priceless works of art connected with Ravenna’s unique history are housed in the city’s museums and monuments, which have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Ravenna has all the facilities of a city, but with the warmth and the tranquillity of a town. It is quiet and safe and is not inundated with tourists. The lifestyle and traditions of Italy can be found at every corner. The centre of Ravenna is only at short distance from the sea, enabling students to combine their studies with a seaside holiday. Ravenna is also surrounded by a great variety of natural environments and major artistic cities such as Florence and Venice, which can be reached in less than two hours Dante Alighieri, Italy’s greatest poet and father of the Italian language, spent the last years of his life in Ravenna and is buried here in a tomb in the city centre, just a couple of minutes from our school. Since 1986, the School has been synonymous with a superior level of education and a familiar atmosphere. We work with small number of students per class and only teachers DITALS II level certified.. One of the key aspects of our teaching approach is the continuous connection between the work undertaken in class and what students experience outside the classroom and with the host families, to "live the Italian language", all day, every day.
