Everyone was so nice and supportive, all my workshop tutors and my tutor was amazing and so supportive. The system was easy to use and understand.

I have recently completed my NVQ Level 3 in adult care with Paragon skills, it was a really interesting course that helped fill some gaps in my existing knowledge and reinforce other areas I had an understanding of already. The learning platform utilised by Paragon is very easy to navigate and allows you to monitor your progress and set your own pace.
My tutor, Kirsty Welding, was not only a genuinely lovely person, but really knew her field and was able to deliver information in a variety of ways until she was sure I understood everything correctly and if ever I needed to contact her about anything, she was always quick to respond. I would happily recommend Paragon skills as a training provider and would definitely recommend Kirsty Welding as tutor.

I recently completed my Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Adult Care qualification. Although my journey began with some challenges, including changing tutors and taking a break from studying, everything changed when I was assigned Sarah Conebar as my tutor.
Sarah is approachable, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. She provided excellent guidance throughout my learning journey, helping me understand requirements, complete assignments, and build my confidence. Her encouragement and positive attitude made a real difference, particularly during times when I doubted my own abilities.

​Completing my Level 3 Care Diploma has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The course itself is fantastic well-structured, comprehensive, and packed with practical knowledge that I can directly apply to my day-to-day work in health and social care. When I first began my diploma I was quite overwhelmed with the amount required to complete all the modules. The support from my tutor was very helpful and she explained things in detail and the requirements needed for each assignment. At 50 years old, a mum to 3 children and working full time as a team leader, taking on such in depth learning was very daunting and sometimes stressful but I managed it and completed my diploma with 2 Distinctions of which I am very proud of.
This could not have been achieved though without the support of Heather Evans. Her support throughout the workshops was inevitably the most significant and crucial aspect of my results. Her knowledge and expertise at what was expected of me really put me at ease and I am very grateful for everything she taught me and supported me with to achieve my goal.
The workshops are vital in completion of the diploma and hold a lot of important information that support the modules, I would highly recommend attending them all.
The EPA Situational Judgment Exam, focuses (I feel) on care home settings, for which are not always relevant to my field of work (Community care), but when attending the workshops the input and information other students contributed to the group gave me insights into their working environment which then supported my learning and the answers to complete my module reflections and my EPA Exam.
