The ticketing system is beyond absurd
The ticketing system is beyond absurd. The visitor is FORCED to buy tickets online, even when he/she is present at the gate.
If one chooses to buy tickets ahead of time, in the comfort of their home, click a few clicks on the computer - that's a different story.
But at the entrance gate, even if you might have the skills (and the eyesight), which I don't, this becomes a futile exercise. So futile indeed, that even the very helpful gate attendants had to give up - and took me to an actual person clerk to pay with a good old credit card. The cashier was hidden from plain sight and, obviously, was doing nothing.
To visit the Gaudi Museum, you have to pay SEPARATELY, again at the entrance at the museum (which is inside the park) and again FORCING to pay online. With my back aching, from trying to scan a QR, my fingers freezing in the morning chill and the phone slow to respond to tap and touch, I just gave up on this experience. Absurd doesn't even describe it.
