Do not trust this company

I parked in The Mall Luton Market & Central Car Park on the 11th October 2024, so Park Jockey have my car reg and credit card details. Subsequently a charge has occured on my credit card for parking at Orlando airport from 28th December to 2nd January. My car and I were in the UK at the time. The reg number used in Orlando was similar but not the same as mine. The charge is now in dispute and I am spending so much time in this. A terrible experience.

Pre-booking doesn't work and costs more

I pre-booked parking for a mid-week gig at Birmingham Utilita Arena (UK) knowing I couldn't get there early. It cost substantially more than on-the-day parking.

On arrival: no spaces, no sign to say the car park was full, no information on alternative parking, no stewards.

Towards the exit, mocking signage says "Maybe you should book next time". Ha. Ha.

Called ParkJockey who gave details of an alternative car park. They processed a refund of the pre-booking charge (hence the two star review, not one).

Got to the gig - late.

What is the point of pre-booking? It's a pointless waste of time and money.

What a rip off

What a rip off.
When to see peter Kay last night, parking machines were off line. We couldn't pay online either, We was told by someone who works there. To pay online the next day, as long as its within 24hrs. Went online today, couldn't find anyway of paying online. So we phoned parkjockey, they sent us a link. We opened the link, that didn't work. We actually found away of paying online but it worked out triple the cost. It's registers when you come in but not when you leave. So it counts the time when you pay not when you leave. Otherwise it would have been a £90 fine.
So be careful.

It is unfortunate that I am made to…

It is unfortunate that I am made to give this company one star as they truly deserve MINUS 10!

I was having issues trying to book a parking space with them so sent them an email explaining that I’m trying to book parking as I’m disabled, my wife has MS and we both suffer with extreme anxiety.

ParkJockey response was basically WE SUGGEST YOU FIND ANOTHER CARPARK!

Erm excuse me ParkJockey I’ve told you my wife and I are both disabled and suffer with extreme anxiety hence why I want to book a parking space RATHER THAN DRIVE AROUND LOOKING FOR ONE and then try and have two disabled people navigate somewhere where they don’t know!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR.

been charged 50p more than if the machines were working total rip off

We had to use ParkJockey for parking at…

We had to use ParkJockey for parking at the Taylor Swift concert in Tampa Florida. They asked for the make model and license plate number of the car using the pass. I printed out the parking pass which is going to be used by my client and there is no way to transfer the pass to them electronically. I called ParkJockey got a disconnected phone number emailed the support address and receive no response, hoping that a copy of the pass works very unprofessional company, surprised that the Taylor Swift organization would use such an unreliable vendor for their concerts, especially in light of the issues we had with ticket Master.

Rip off artist

Rip off artist! If you can avoid parking @ the Sanford, FL airport, do it! Econo parking is $13.00 a day. They had barricades up & wouldn't let anyone in. No good direction where to go next. A tiny sign said $14.00 a day & the gate lifted. It was the garage. It was $17.00 a day & Park Jockey won't let you out, if you don't pay & won't reason at all with you what so ever. Sanford airport needs to have better info. & directions when it comes to parking if they're going to close the econo lot! Shame on you!

I give ZERO stars!!!

Had to put one star to write a complaint!!
Never use ParkJockey they are out to rob you. Even when you’ve paid they send you a penalty letter for £50 saying you haven’t paid.
I’ll never use them again!!!
I’ve had two of these penalties even though I paid each time for parking!!
Be warned!!

Fraud? definitely a rip off scam

Parked at Birmingham Utilita North car park managed by Park Jockey. You pay on exit, which was at 11pm after a gig at the Utilita. Big notice saying £12.50 event parking fee, but everyone was being charged £18.50 on check out. This is the second time it's happened. A lady from the car park told us to take a photo of the advertised £12.50 fee and call next day to settle up, which I did. The lady on the phone clearly knew all about it but said the fees charged weren't up to her. This looks like a massive scam, potentially fraud, and definitely in contravention of the Sale of Goods Act. Don't park at Parkjockey, complete bandits.

I received a pcn originally from Nexus Group which I appealed as I had paid on leaving the car park. According to Charlotte at Park Jockey I was successful and I was told to ignore any letters I receive regarding the pcn. I have now received a letter from a debt recovery company demanding the fine. I cannot contact Park Jockey as when I do it is all options 1-3 recorded. Does anybody know how I can actually speak to a human being please

Refreshingly helpful customer service

I have had terrible experiences with aggressive parking companies in the past but I found this company really helpful and therefore felt compelled to write a positive review. I misunderstood the payment system when I parked in the High Wycombe car park last week thinking I had to pay at the exit. I couldn't because there was no payment facility at the exit and I had no option but to leave the car park without paying when the barrier lifted automatically. Not wanting a fine, the next day I phoned and emailed the company asking for advice on how to pay retrospectively. I thought I'd simply get a fine and no help but to my surprise the staff were very understanding and sent me a link that allowed me to settle up retrospectively and confirmed that they had received my payment. On a seprate matter I was also very impressed with the quality of the parking.

Techno Parking Gangsters

The set up is there to catch you and fine the hell out of you: especially if you are old, don't understand technology, trying to use a supermarket redeem voucher either in the present or retrospectively.
Feels like dealing with Techno Parking Gangsters.

Terrible customer service experience…

Terrible customer service experience when needing help pre booking a disabled space in Bham . Wrong information given which would have resulted in me getting a ticket had I not double checked and has ultimately meant I have had to cancel my visit. Repeatedly asked for details of how to escalate query - all of which have just been ignored ( hoping I’d go away) and that’s from the QSC !
