The reviews say it all, Any car park using this app must simply be using it as a way of generating revenue through fines. I would urge regulators to investigate this as the evidence seems overwhelming... See more

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I parked recently in looe the card readers on the phone were not working when I tried to use the text service it did not recognise the parking location. I phone parkonomy only to be laughed at down the phone and then they hung up. Also the website was not processing cards. Avoid using this company if you can

Unusable site, no details or service. Park elsewhere.

Company's website is terrible and basically unusable. Took me half an hour to attempt to pay using it to no avail. Resorted to going back with cash. This company is not at all ethical, reflected in the truly anxiety-inducing design of their site, presumably to prevent you paying!

As others have said, use the car park owners' service or just park elsewhere. Company's like this are shameful and any car park owner should not contract their enforcement to them.

No contact details on their deliberately mischievous website. We see you Parkonomy!

Not a conclusive statement yet

Not a conclusive statement yet - remains to be seen if the rating goes down to BAD. The trick is that they act as if they are the landlord's agent and by paying them a fee you think you are buying a service or goods: a parking space for a period of time. In reality, they are only a payment service and a car park use is subject to other - sometimes vague - conditions imposed by third parties that can result in you being charged a parking ticket. Once it happens, Parkonomy washes their hands saying on their website that it is not their responsibility. It almost works as a trap: one pays for parking in good faith and then gets a fine with unclear chances of a recourse. My appeal was rejected on the basis that the bay I parked in was for Pay & Display only. But this is what the Parkonomy service was for in the first instance: if one does not have enough cash, one can pay online. There were no specific bays that were marked as for Parkonomy use. There were bays that had been reserved for specific customers and they were clearly marked as such. Anyway, so far the impression is that they accept money for something under false pretence and they do not supply goods or services in exchange that one as a customer believes one is paying for. Still digging into it and at this point I am a very unhappy customer.

Appalling System

Parked from 7pm - 10 pm and then tried to pay on line. Tried for 2 and a half hours that night but the system would not take any money. Left a message. Thought I had succeeded to pay the following day and asked for confirmation only to be told that there was no record of any payment SO an £85 fine!!

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service
Poor consistency with rates and times. The phone or app service often but not always has a 30-40% premium. Also paying one fee in the same car park for the same time varies from week to week with no warning. Unanswered tickets from customer service. Facebook page is ineffective for resolution only empty promises and excuses. Try to avoid this service. Either pay cash, use the car park owners service or park else where. Despite being my workplace nearest car park non of my colleagues use this service any more. Poor, poor poor.
