we bought a car for my son for £2500 and it turns out it needs a new engine ! do not by a car from this place !!

I mistakenly bought a vehicle from these scammers, it arrived in such poor condition I have had to spend nearly 2k getting it sorted. Let alone getting the thing cleaned as it had been obviously kept in a field, under a tree for some time. They didn't even have the decency to clean it. Milage was even marked as suspicious on the DVLA website. They also buy fake reviews on Auto Trader which tells you a lot.

We bought a car from parkside which has given us nothing but problems we have had to pay out £3000 to try and fix it and it still needs more work! When we contacted the dealership they were rude and didn’t take any accountability for the pile of crap car they sold us they are not taking our calls. There is no way they didn’t know the car wasn’t fit for purpose! They are just happy to take peoples money they should not be in business!!!! They are crooks and liar’s AVOID AVOID AVOID

The reviews say it all - NOT a big professional car dealership.

The website makes it look like this is a big pro car dealership, as does the swanky call system. The iffy no-VAT rock bottom prices, fake photo's with 'big dealership background' and awful, borderline rude, "customer service" gives the game away - this is just a loose confederation of backstreet garages. And I mean loose - I'm not even sure that they are on speaking terms!? ;-)

Drove 80 miles to see a car that was advertised on several websites only to find it wasn't at the showroom and they couldn't actually get access to the car, as it was at a different site. Which was closed at the time and they didn't have the keys. WHAT? The fact that I'd called up and spoken to someone before I left home, who had confirmed that a viewing and test drive were definitely possible pushed this over the edge for me. Timewasters. Avoid at absolutely all costs.

Awful place don't inform you of any progress and problems on vehicle.

Do not buy a car from here. I was robbed of £8000 the car had to many problems. Wasn't resolved. The engine has now gone on the car. I don't know how there still open with all there bad reviews.

My son brought a car which came with 12 months mot ,,the car is a skip on wheels and dangerous to drive so I took it back for a refund ,got nothing but attitude of the staff manager not there still waiting for refund,,avoid these rob dogs,I'm reporting them to trading standards,,and also reporting there dodgey mot man to vosa

Avoid this business, and any subsequent businesses they may form. Overpriced scrap cars is the best way to describe the vehicles being offered.

Untrustworthy garage. They sold my 17 year old son a car they claimed had been serviced, which was simply not true. The oil filter was so rusted, it clearly hadn’t been changed for a very long time. Nobody at the garage, including the manager, was prepared to address the issue when the car broke down completely. The cost of replacing the engine is more than we paid for the car. The garage refused to engage and passed it to lawyers. Do not buy anything from Parkside Motors in Bolton. You will buy trouble in one form or another.

Bought a car from these 3 months ago and I’ve had nothing but trouble dpf blocked brakes that bad they are a risk to my children door alarm going off constantly car not starting first time then all I get from them is we will sort it out we will send you money and get absolutely nothing from them at all wouldn’t recommend to anyone

absolute poor customer service, they are extremely helpful when purchasing then it all goes down the s**t pan after that when there is a problem, avoid these if i was you.

I paid a £250 deposit on a car waited a couple of months for it to be MOT'd only to be told it was not possible to economically repair!
I looked at another example at the same price but was then told it wold be more expensive than the listed price because Parkside had found more work was needed.
This being unacceptable I asked for and was promised my £250 back. Haveing chased several times I still have not had a refund 8 months later.
