I bought an LCD screen that did not fit …

I bought an LCD screen that did not fit my phone because of the connectir from the phone to the screen. I tried to contact customer service several times and after a week or so i reached an associate who told me to refer to the" easy returns button" on the web page that ended up telling me I have to pay return shipping of $5 and I don't get my shipping price back. Then I asked for the manager who got on the phone with the same verbiage and he told me they're the bigges cell part distributor and that he understands my frustration just like the owner of the company and they will do all theu can do but they can't help me with my full refund. What a joke of a company and if you want something cheap for your phone buy it from some other company because they will do the same to you.

Product not as described and damaged

Product not as described and damaged. Completely ignored email requests regarding damaged goods. Had to obtain refund via credit card disputes procedure after lengthy delay. Don't be caught out by premium rate contact number. Supplier breaches UK consumer law in a number of aspects. Hope Hertfordshire Trading Standards take action soon. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Does not follow Consumer Rights Act

I initially call on Tuesday 24th November and spoke to Mr Mohammed Amir Iqbal, the owner of Parts4mobiles, T/A Compusoft Spares Ltd.

I was extremely happy with his understanding that I required the mobile phone screen asap (for my Father in law). He advised that it would be shipped sameday, and likely to be received on Wednesday, or Thursday.

To my delight, the screen arrived on Wednesday. The delight soon turned into frustration within minutes, as I opened the well packaged parcel and found that the label (hope that is the correct word for it), was sliced. A straight knife/scissorlike cut. I immediately called Parts4mobiles, and emailed them also. I was informed by Mr Iqbal that the quickest way would be to buy another through the website as they would have to receive this back. I asked whether they would be refunding my postage cost, and was told yes, of course.

I therefore ordered another, and returned initial one at a cost of £4.40.

The returned package was received on Thursday morning, so I called Mr Iqbal again, who promised me refund by end of the day.

This did not materialise, so I again called on Friday, and promised same thing. Again this did not materialise.

I instead received and email on Saturday 28th November, informing me they rejected the return as it had been cut from the customer.

Why would I cut it, but require another ??
That was my reason for returning it!!

Anyway, this is not where it ends, the package which they sent out for the second time was empty.

I have now opened 2 paypal dispute cases, and have escalated straight away.

I have accepted I will be £4.40 down, but people like this should not be running companies

I wish I had read the other articles on here before buying.

Terrible service - avoid at all costs

I ordered a part - post came in 2 days - wrong part. Phoned & explained and was promised immediate replacement & would I send the wrong part back. Did it the same day. After a week of nothing mailed them - got a reply that they had received my return and would send the correct part with my next order. Said there would be no next order and their service was not good. Still waiting. Small claims court here we come.
Parts are cheap enough but when they add exorbitant shipping costs it's an expensive buy.
Steer clear - they're definitely not worth it.

apalling

Had a gh-97/note 4 lcd come the glass fell of the lcd as opened package rang them they said to send back and they will refund.
sent back the next day and no refund for days so rang them up and they told me as the item returned faulty they could not give a refund funnily enough thats why i sent it back. So if you get a faulty item then dont expect your money back im now £110 out of pocket so will be taking this company to court not just for the money but to make an example.

Best company for spare parts!

I've been using Parts4Mobiles for the last year and I was really impressed with their service. LCD screen prices are very competitive (same goes for most parts) and they also price match.
Overall, I would recommend them as a potential supplier from what I have experienced.

Dodgy mobile parts. STAY AWAY!!

I was in desperate need of a new housing and keypad for my mobile phone. The other week, I purchased a plastic mobile housing to replace the old housing. I could not find the keypad for my mobile available to the UK anywhere else, but because they had PayPal, like an idiot, I jumped right in there and brought the new housing.

Upon first inspection, the baggy it came in with a sticker on it, the housing and keypad looked like the original. The name of my mobile and parts number was marked with a Biro pen, but there was no reason for suspicion. So I began fitting the new housing together, but the UI flex on the side of the chassis wouldn't go in.

After trying to forcing it together, a piece of the button cousin for the UI flex came right off. It was not until after I realized the inside of the side buttons was done differently to the old housing. The plastic on the new one felt bendy and weaker than the old housing which felt solid and it led me to think; what if the housing I had was done on a 3D printer? That's my own conclusion, anyway.

Its not like I can send it back in exchange for a refund, the delivery cost was too high for an package its size for Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.

14 quid down the drain then. Thanks Parts4mobiles.
You've been warned!
