I paid an extortionate amount of money for a secure delivery of my passport, the passport arrived today, I found it on the doorstep, I was in the house but the delivery man couldn't be bothered to knock, he just left it on the front step for any person passing to take it.

The app is terrible. It asks to put in address where you normally live. If you put in a Uk address you absolutely cannot get through as there is no Uk option for country. Absolutely rubbish.

Tried renewing Driving License, but won't accept valid passport, etc. Have to travel to post office instead.

We've seen UK gov's new ETA app is un-necessarily over-complicated - but that's the British bureuacrats way.

But STUPIDLY the app has the Major Flaw that - if for any reason your credit card payment doesn't complete - your entire application is lost! And you have to start the whole l o n g procedure again!

Companies merely ask you to try making the payment again. They don't delete your whole file/application.

very very complicated procedure trying to use the gov.uk ID check. I think one has to be an IT expert to fathom the intricacies of this system especially with a shaky hand when scanning or taking a self photo

If I could put less I would. This is so far the WORST website I’ve ever seen in my life you can’t even put your complains there because the link is not even working. It’s not easy to navigate on this and I’m a gen z kid. They’re lying when they say that biometrics is not obligatory to get your visa so that you would pay anyway. YOU absolutely have to do it because business day for your application is counting since the day you took your biometrics. Don’t be fooled like I’ve just been. I’m gonna miss an opportunity because of this.

I tried to confirm my identity by using all the options available on the portal, without any tiny success. The system is so ineffective that does not accept and confirm my passport number, driving licence, payslips, P60, nothing! Who are the people programming this system? Complained literally 7 times, and the answers are just automatic rubbish! I am sure UK government pays millions on outsourced companies in India to maintain and update their system - for this results! Ridiculous! Like a 3rd world country!

Why are GOV.uk behind a scam on the TAX VEHICLE WEBSITE

I applied to renew my British passport. Living in New Zealand, I thought it was going to be a long difficult process but dealing with the agent at the passport office via email in the UK made it so easy! Communication was excellent and follow up emails were answered promptly. From the time I applied to receiving my new passport was a matter of weeks.
The service was excellent and will not hesitate to use the company in the future.

Brilliant service. Less than 3 weeks from start to finish and nothing like the scaremongers would have you believe.

First passport took only 3 weeks. Website gives you lots of info on how the process is going. You can pay a fiver to avoid royal mail delivery and have it delivered into your hand.
