I join as I couldn’t go out with out my dog and found paws to be amazing they are sooooo lovely the staff they are helping my dog Loki and they help us spot his hip dysplasia without them he would have been in pain and they are soo nice and understanding I would recommend them to anyone

I’m so happy I chose PAWS Therapy Dog Training. The course is so interesting, varied and engaging and what makes it so special is the fantastic support available from the amazing team at PAWS, being part of the private training group on Facebook and the option to join weekly supervision sessions via Zoom. It’s so great to take the course at your own pace too. PAWS understand that it’s important to take your time with the training and make sure your dog’s well-being is at the heart of everything. There’s always plenty of opportunities to seek help, guidance and inspiration from both mentors and peers. What a lovely supportive community. I have learnt so much and still learning as there are always training opportunities. Looking forward to continuing my journey and would highly recommend the course to anyone wishing to train their dog to become a therapy dog. Thank u PAWS!

Paws is great. Their training has helped our puppy to develop skills to help me. For example due to autism I never used to be able to go into shops on my own. With the guidance and online lessons from paws I can now happily go into shops with our puppy who is called daisy. The online lessons are brilliant and useful plus the support from the team is amazing. I would highly recommend paws to anyone

My therapy dog in training and me have been thouroughly supported by weekly supervisions, supportive online community of caring and deticated trainees and professionals. Our journey has been full of life-changing interventions so far, where complex need young people opened up and engaged with services offered to them, like never before and witnessing that special bond my dog has created with them over a course of short periods is absolutely priceless. I am hoping to change more young people's lives with my therapy dog, and feeling confident that Paws Therapy Dog Training will be around to offer life-time support.

Paws have been amazing. Training your own dog is a challenge, but their regular video chats and easy support access really makes me feel I can do this. I would be lost and overwhelmed without them.

PAWS is an exceptional opportunity to build a deep connection with your own dog whilst becoming skilled in delivering Animal Assisted Interventions. The online/on demand platform and videos means you can learn in your own time and the FB group feels like a real community. The workshops enabled me to meet the amazing trainers and assessors which was a remarkable experience. Everyone is non judgemental, on the same journey, willing to share and PAWS provide first class resources, skills and a bold new future. Thanks to Nici Maxwell and all the team for creating such a safe and supple opportunity to help children, families, vulnerable and elderly with these high standards.

Just the whole day was amazing meeting all you lovely people and helped me get over my nevres, and felt much better and more confident by the end of the day. Me and beau were both ready for a nap by the end of it. Thank u all for the time an effort you all put into the day I can't just pick one thing.

What can I say about paw? 🐾 I am so glad that I joined this training program to do my journey through.
My dog Ghost and I have been through some really tough times recently and I have had nothing but support from everyone of the trainers and background staff.
They have helped me through him being diagnosed with IBD and our most recent emergency surgery after he ate a sock.
The whole team go above and beyond what I would have ever expected from them as a training company.
They treat you as part of a family.
What I have found helpful from them as well is that they are open and share the struggles that they have as trainers when training their own dogs.
They eased my anxieties when I had my first assessment with Ghost, which I am forever grateful for.
I would recommend PAWS 🐾 to anyone I meet that is looking to train their own dogs as an assistance dog.
It’s not just the trainers that help either, everyone going through this process is so supportive of each other and helps one another through the difficult time they might be having with training or personal struggles.
I have made some really good strong friendships here that will last a lifetime.

I am really enjoying this program with my dog. The team are always on hand to answer any questions or training issues we may have. Or simply to talk through a scenario and how to handle the different reactions in the environment.

Albie (dog) has already made such a change to my life allowing to go into environments & situations I never would go into on my own. I've definitely gained more independence through the process so far

Amazing company to work with. Currently training my Assistance Dog with Paws. There course material is very informative, there is a zoom call nearly everyday to drop in and learn more things and ask advice. You have a mentor which works with you 1:1 regularly. If your looking to train your own assistance dog i couldn't recommend this company highly enough! 100% excellent!!

I started the assistance dog program through Paws a few months ago to train my dog for my neurodivergent child, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience so far! From the very first moment I reached out, they’ve been incredibly supportive. I have regular one-on-one Zoom sessions with a trainer who provides a personalized program to work towards. The weekly Zoom training meetings are always informative, and the help sessions are an invaluable resource for answering all of my questions. Listening to others’ experiences has also sparked so many great ideas for training. It’s been an amazing journey, and I feel so supported every step of the way!

I've been on this course for just over a year now, and I can't believe just how Lily has taken to learning such amazing things. Progressing to be my Assistant Doggie. I've had the pleasure of meeting the team on teams in our 1:1 sessions and online support groups (various members such as Siobhan, Nicki and Jackie) who have personally helped me and Lily throughout this course, Helping me by setting us up to
succeed. Lily has learnt so much because of this programme which is already helping me with my Mental health. Highly! highly! recommend.

PAWS Therapy Dog Training has been an incredible experience for our family. Our dog, Flo, is currently in training to become an assistance dog for my son, Jack, who has ADHD and autism. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, guiding us every step of the way. We especially enjoy our weekly Zoom sessions with Siobhan, whose expertise and encouragement have been invaluable. Flo is already making a huge difference in Jack’s life, and we’re so grateful for the dedication of the PAWS team. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, professional training for their dog!

I've always considered getting a dog to help with my mental health and autism but I wanted to get my own dog from a puppy, get the bond, and train myself. I know my needs are unique because every one is different so didn't want to just get a ready made autism assistance dog. But then it's scary to think of all training I'd have to do on my own. Paws is a best of both worlds. It allows you to have support to train your dog as an assistance dog in your own way. So she only needs to learn the specific skills I need.
It's not always been easy. There have been so many times when I have thought what have I done there is no way I can do this but then we have a breakthrough in training and I remember why I started. The team are amazing and will answer any queries quickly. When I doubt myself I can do it they have hope in me and my dog for me. They truly care and want to help us with our dogs to help improve quality of life when disabled.

Excellent training and support. One to one catch up and personalised advice, plus weekly teaching. Also almost daily advice clinics with advice over zoom. Online course with lots of material to work through covering all aspects of assistances dog training. I would recommend this course for anyone training their own assistance dog.

I suffer with a few health issues and was unsure of training my dog for what I need her to be they have helped me take a wild mix breed cocker spaniel with separation anxiety to a whole new level of dog who helps me already with my every day problems thier support groups and clinics for structured classes on everything from food to training health and wellbeing of our dogs I've learned so much in how to communicate and read my dog I'd recommend any person who wants a assistance dog to apply to paws was best decision ive ever made and never once have i regretted my choice of training im just so grateful to thier whole team

A really well laid out course which is easy to access and work through at your own pace. The PAWS team can be contacted via the Facebook group or e-mail and all of my questions or queries were always promptly responded to. I loved going on this training journey with my dog, Norman and there is support from the Team every step of the way. It has been a joy to see the impact Norman is having on the children in school as a certified Therapy Dog. Thank you PAWS team!
