A really lovely team of instructors who were knowledgeable and delivered the training in a way that was easy to follow. It was very full on days and lots of practical exercises to do. You really do need a dog as it makes the training very clear when you’re teaching it to a dog. I’d like to say an extra special thank you to the team especially Tanya, whose care and consideration for my welfare really helped me. The team’s kindness at making adjustments to help me blew me away. It’s really heartwarming to know the IMDT do take mental health into consideration, I can’t thank you enough

I highly recommend this course both to professionals as well as dog owners struggling with these issues. Dave is an excellent teacher. The course content is very indepth, lots to learn and to take in, but very helpful. This was my first course with IMDT and I am incredibly impressed with both the course itself, as well as the help offered afterwards. I have now signed up for other courses.

Really great course that provides so much information. I completed over four evening sessions. This did allow time to reflect on the three hour sessions, but I imagine it would be quite heavy if you had had a full day at work. I wish there had been more tasks to complete to aid consolidation of learning, the nature of webinar formate means you miss out on interacting with peers, and makes it very front lead learning. I’d personally have preferred an online meeting that would have allowed peers to see one another, breakouts rooms for group tasks, and reactions to peer comments. Having said this the trainer was excellent at turning the chat on and off throughout the sessions, and very good at answering participants questions. I’d recommend this course to those embarking on their dog training career, really good jump off point.

The course content and pace of learning were excellent. The instructors were very knowledgeable and very willing to answer any of your questions and offer advice for your dog training aspirations going forward.

What an amazing week on the 2nd Chance Hero at Cheltenham Animal Shelter. Probably the best course I have been on for me personally. Working with my rescue dog (Kola) or as Mus called him "Pepsi" for five days was a really valuable experience with working with rescues. The week taught me how hard the staff at the shelter work in trying to give these dogs a forever home which isn't always easy.
Mus and Alan were full of knowledge and amazing teaching skills and tips which we couldn't get enough off, but also they were both full of humor and made us all relax and enjoy the week to the full.
I was blessed with being paired with "Kola" Rotti X Ridgeback who was just one beautiful dog who I loved so much and thoroughly loved the time spent training, socialisation off site and most importantly loads of cuddles and i really wish he gets his forever home.
Its rescues that I am mainly interested in with working with dogs so if your the same then you really need to do this course week and experience it for yourself.

Amazing course, honestly one of the best I’ve been on in terms of delivery and content!

I have completed several courses through the IMDT, and I highly recommend them. The tutors are very informative, and it's clear that they all have extensive experience.
I have just completed the Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy 3-day course and found it to be very informative, with training plans I would never have thought of. Tania and Steve are also excellent at explaining the course material.

One of the best places if you want to learn about dog training tricks and tips. From foundational (teach your own dog) to leading a dog training business.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course and would recommend. The trainer Moss was really good at making the information understandable and digestible. I’m considering a career as a dog trainer but at a minimum this has helped me as a dog owner regardless of whether I pursue training further. The only downside is that now I want to book more courses!!

Great step-by-step course!

If your a potential student, my advice would be to do your research, don't look at their 'carefully selected' reviews from their website.

Priding themselves on a supportive, tutor led course - sounds great on the surface... What you will actually experience is several emails from various names from the 'Student Support Team,'.

They will falsely accuse you of not using your own work and then not give you the opportunity to resubmit and run with your money.

Responses via email are short, snappy and confrontational, they like to think they have the upper hand, whilst holding your money and refusing to refund.

They will also take payments from your account additional to your payment plan using a 'Glitch in the system,' as a excuse.

Plenty of other course providers out there so think outside the box ;)

Absolutely loved this 2 day intro, the training was set at a really easy to digest pace but without being drawn out in any way!
Mus was so informative as was Natalie, always willing to answer the many questions this course evoked, loved it thank you IMDT

Course expertly led by a very experienced trainer (Mustafa) who paced the course well and brought topics to life with real life examples and by answering all questions fielded and where he felt he didn't have expert level knowledge - he didn't overreach and was happy to signpost the best sources - e.g. dog nutrition. Would definitely recommend the course for anyone that spends time with dogs. Will hope to return for more courses in the future.

The training was really well planned and executed. The trainers are very knowledgeable and happy to help in any way they can. Theu are also very honest and if they don't know the answer, or it's not their field of excellence, they will say.

I thought Mus was a great presenter. He had a wealth of experience and practical knowledge and delivered the course in a really easy to understand format. I will be doing further courses. I have raised puppies before and learnt a lot from this course.

While Currently working through a correspondence course and having completed other online trainings and webinars I can honestly say , IMDT provide and Education that can set you up for success . The correspondence course is full of the right information with backed up research and opportunity of guidance from the tutor. Webinars are very informative and easily digested . The online training have plenty of information , plenty of time to digest learning with time to ask questions in between topics . Highly recommend. Mus has also created a warm and welcoming environment to keep your attention on the trainings. Thanks IMDT looking forward to continue my education with you

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and learned a lot. It was hard work and I did have to put extra hours in to understand what was required. My main failing was not reading the questions properly but once I got into it l started to feel more confident. I completely understood why I had to resubmit some of the answers and I learned a lot from the experience. The tutors were lovely, very helpful and quick to reply. If they ask you to resubmit it is likely that they realise you haven’t understood properly. Attention to detail and accuracy is very important. I do plan to do another course but need a bit of a break.
