extremely expensive, does not inform you properly
They are extremely expensive, and not meant for a small business. I asked for a one year contract and was locked into a three-year contract. At the time of canceling, they would not let me know what my fees would be until after I canceled. It was $10,000. I don’t even make that much in my business a month. Every time I try to call my specialized rep, they never answer and I always get an assistant who has no idea what’s going on. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Very helpful resource
I’ve worked with PayCom in the past as I collected data for the payroll team but in this role, I’m more hands on as THE payroll analyst for my company. First of all, from an employee side, everything is user friendly on the app. I love that I don’t have to go searching for things. From the employer side, they’ve been so open to suggestions and feedback. I will say, “I wish there was a way to do x, y, z…” and lo and behold, there IS! I had my first virtual training with Aly since I’m new to this position and she was super helpful. I had some new questions for Kenya and she was ready and available to help provide support. I highly recommend.

Highly Recommend Paycom
We’ve been using Paycom at PCCS for a while now, and it’s really simplified how we handle HR and payroll. Having everything in one place—onboarding, time tracking, payroll—has saved us a ton of time and reduced confusion across departments.
Our team especially appreciates the self-service options. It’s easy for staff to check their pay, update info, or request time off without having to go through HR every time.
The customer support team is responsive and genuinely helpful. We’d love to see more flexibility with reporting and integrations, but overall, Paycom has been a dependable system that keeps us organized and supports our people-first approach.

I’ve used several HRIS and payroll solutions over the years — including ADP, UKG, and Paychex — and while each system has its strengths, Paycom consistently stands out for its exceptional service and ongoing innovation.
