They are holding my money it’s been over 2 weeks I have sent them all the proof of tracking orders & conversations with clients to prove that all my customers received their orders they keep lying to me telling me they are reviewing & that they will get back to me it’s taking over 2 weeks just to look at tracking numbers it’s like they trying to find a way to steal my money. Paystack is a Scam – Be Careful!

My experience with Paystack has been nothing short of a nightmare. They have withheld my payouts for one Month now, ignored all my follow-up emails, and offered no explanation or timeline for resolution.

What’s worse is the complete silence from their so-called Business Review team. No transparency, no accountability, just holding people’s money hostage while pretending to be professional.

If this is how they treat their users, then businesses should be very cautious before onboarding with them. A payment platform that can lock your funds without response is not safe to trust.

At this point, Paystack feels more like a scam than a legitimate financial service. Proceed at your own risk.

Scammers

they are scam i receive payment of 150k last week from my customer and the reason i use there app is to avoid fake transfers and also since last week they have not given me my money what they keep saying is we are reviewing my account since last week and my acct is already live which means it as been reviewed before till now they keep saying they are working on it and now the customer is messaging me that i should deliver the website i create for him and it is the oney i will use to buy a domain name and the person is even swearing for them they are thief

My small business has been under review by Paystack for nearly four months. In that time, they’ve held every naira we earned—leaving us in debt and unable to operate.

I’ve submitted every document. Responded to every request. And still:
❌ No payout
❌ No timeline
❌ No transparency

@Paystack,Urgent: Incorrect Beneficiary Created via Paystack Plugin

@Paystack, your plugin prompts to create a beneficiary in my banking app, I trust it’s the merchants account, but surprise: payment goes to what looks like a personal account. I lose the money, get charged to reverse it, unsuccessful of course, and support ghosts me.

All I can say ignore these negative review at your own peril. They'll do exactly what you hear people say and even they may do worse to punish you for believing them. Let them shut down their services if they cannot support merchants grow their businesses. Very disappointed with them.

Do Not Use Paystack Before Reading This

We post this review publicly at no pleasure or ours, as it remains the only option that we are left with, to prove to our clients that Paystack has indeed withheld their funds and not us.

We are not convinced that you need to withhold client's funds to do your business reviews, which ought to be done, before approving any business to use your facilities.
Despite knowing that withholding client's funds would disrupt service(s) delivery. And then you suddenly after getting the funds, you all go silent across all emails and socials.

We hope this feedback might nudge Paystack to at the minimum, to respond to our emails and if possible, refund or reverse clients their monies.
You do not need that to do your reviews.

Based on our personal and recent experiences, we do not recommend any business to use Paystack, if you need to deliver services to your customers / clients within a short term. Use it if your funds can be allowed to wait for month undergoing review.

Paystack, please do the right thing, and return our client's funds. Thank you.

Paystack is worst payment API gateway for any business to use as a means or link to receive payment from clients.
their payout review is riddled with a lot unnecessary and slow response time. this 2025 where payment collections is a cornerstone for customer delivery.
2. their staff are so sluggish and repeatedly asking the same question even when you gave them detailed explanation
3. they never response to issues on-time and within time frame
4. my advise to them is this they better learn and adapt quickly let them take a look at WU western union . they thought the payments eco system revolved around them Now where are they. \
5. i give them one year and still no improvement and they become forgotten

PAYSTACK A SCAM WEBSITE

I have done transactions with paystack and after three transactions, the fourth transaction, they stated they will be conducting a review, I accepted because they had remained with my pending balance, after a whole week of review, they come back and email me saying my business is a high risk and my business will be closed. I accepted and said that I will review my business and come back and appeal, and they said they will complete my pending payment within 24hours. This is the third day and support keeps saying they will provide updates, I have lost a lot of clients because of this 2 week delay, paystack is just a scam website and I don't highly want people to work with them, they will frustrate you. PAYSTACK PROCESS MY PENDING PAYMENT OR ELSE I WILL TARNISH YOUR NAME.

Poor Services

The said that payout is done in the next day, and its 2-3 days now I haven't received my payout yet. Paystack need to improve their services because we the customers are losing trust with this poor services
