Supports Illegal Gambling – Refuses to Reverse Transactions

I am a gambling addict and made payments to an illegal online casino through Payz. By processing these payments, Payz is directly supporting and profiting from illegal gambling operations that exploit vulnerable individuals. When I contacted them to request a reversal of the transactions, they refused to help. This is irresponsible, unethical, and potentially illegal. I will be taking legal action against Payz. I’ve encountered serious issues with Payz that align with concerns raised in this detailed article: it’s not just in my head—there are real structural drawbacks.

What Went Wrong
Excessive Compliance Hurdles
Deposits and withdrawals below €5,000 got repeatedly flagged, and funds were frozen without clear justification. The documentation process was convoluted, and they kept pulling back—long after everything had already been verified.

Unclear and Delayed Withdrawals
Transfers—even to my own accounts—were delayed, subjected to manual review, and sometimes outright refused unless I provided unnecessary documentation. Terms of service didn’t reflect these drawn-out timelines.

Customer Service Frustrations
Calls to support were unhelpful—communication was poor, with staff asking illogical questions like why I’m taxed in one country yet resident in another. It’s 2025—I don’t expect this level of ignorance.

Should have done my research

WARNING. They are without a doubt the worst business I have ever signed up with.
I've jumped through every hoop they've asked me to verify my account however I still have no access ID verification a number of photos of me holding my ID and a phone call. I am now just being told that it is with the relevant team to review everything I've submitted with no timeframe as to when this might be complete. Update* They unlocked my account only to tell me they were shutting it down after an attempt to transfer money to a family member.

I made my deposit weeks ago and ever since the company has locked my account preventing me from withdrawing my money... Yet it still allows me to deposit??? You have to g through a long verification process just to spend YOUR MONEY. I've emailed them half a dozen times and is the same GENERIC RESPONSE. They will not answer your questions, just tell you their looking into it...
PAYZ IS THE WORST PROCESSOR IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Until they fix my account and let me have MY MONEY this review will stay up.

Edit: The worst part about this company is you can't even talk to a person. They only do email communications and they only respond with generic pre approved messages.

Perfect for Anyone especially people in the Caribbean

Bought something with the virtual card and I didn't pay any transaction fee so that's great. Not seeing the ACH information for bank to bank deposit. This app is still sorta new, you guys can't expect them to be perfect, so far I like it no complains. 👌✨ Customer service was good too as long as you message during waking hours in their time zone. Will be recommending it to all my Caribbean people.
