Same situation as the others, I paid 0.99 euros to convert a PDF, and surprise a week later I was charged 49.99 euros even though absolutely nothing was stipulated at the time of purchase!

These guys a scumbags. You signup for .99
cents and then they take $77 out of you account for an annual subscription you didn’t signup for. Then refuse to refund you, but offer you a lifetime subscription for their crappy app. It didn’t even do what I wanted, even though they said it would in their description. It’s basic at best.

This is just a scam, paid of a 7 day trial and then never signed any agreement for the future plan but they do charged you around 69 CAD.

Very bad App
Very bad App, seems to be more a SCAM programme than anything user friendly. They have a hidden subscieption model which automatically deducts 50(!!) USD/ MONTH for ususage 🤣 This already is absurd, this subscription is NOT showing in your subsciptions in APP store but is HIDDEN so i just saw it after having the amount deducted 3 times against my will. You ONLY cam cancel if you write them an email! Fraudster scheme, do NOT USE THIS APP, i had to pay 150USD "Idiot tax" for not being precise and careful...

I got my refund less than 24 hours
I read a lot of reports of people who were upset and sad about the $49.99 charge, but I was really surprised by the amount. But as I didn't agree, with a simple email to customer service support, I was very well attended to and reimbursed with quickly, so I don't know how many people didn't get answers via email or phone, but in my case it was resolved. I hope that my comment can help someone who is thinking that their money will never get back. Get in touch and everything will be resolved.

Horrible experience, money stolen
Horrible company! Please don’t use them! You pay a small amount for a short service and that makes them steel 49,99€ from your credit card, they will not pay back. It’s a scam! Please people, stay away from PDFmaster.
Fair is fair; here’s an update a few weeks later: after they have stolen twice 49,99€ from my credit card I blocked my card and reported them to the authorities. They have paid back the full amount and I recovered it. Obviously I had to go through the trouble of blocking my credit card thanks to them. I would NOT recommend using them, however there is hope for those who lost money: go to the authorities (online)!

Be careful, do not use these people. My experience was the same as all the ones you see previously. 99p one off charge for one PDF conversion. All went ok, was happy with that. But then soon after £49.99 left my account. There was no warning of this in my initial contact. This definitely seems to be a scam! Thankfully I managed to get my bank to cancel the payment (still pending), but I’ve also had to cancel the card I used and get a new one. Something should be done about this group of people. Don’t go anywhere near them!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS
I was excited to see this website offered a simple way to convert a document from PDF to Excel as I required it for work. I was even more so excited to find the cost was only $1.77.
Unfortunately, it did not clearly state anywhere that there would be an automatic subscription in the amount of $68 charged to my card unless I cancelled within 7days. I was unaware this was a 'trial' as it was not described as such. When I received my charge, I immediately contacted the company, and they informed me they have a strict policy in their term and conditions that states they will not refund a client if they were unaware of the automatic charge.
As far as I am concerned if this is written in your terms and conditions you are FULLY AWARE that your automatic subscription is not written clearly enough for your users. Furthermore, they are able to see the service was not used beyond the ONE document I converted, and they still refuse to reimburse me.
I strongly suggest you choose a different website for your pdf needs, one that does not rely on deception and fine print to keep their company in business.

This App is an absolute sham see reviews and discussions on reddit.
They offer short term access 7-days for a small fee$1.99 etc then hit you with a maximum subscription fee 7 days later without your consent or agreement to these terms. Completely unscrupulous. Had to cancel my bank card because of this.
UPDATE
In response to your response, I have emailed your support team numerous times they promised to have a resolution in 30mins in response to my second email in which they asked for me to verify my details and then promptly disappeared for almost 2 weeks now, complete radio silence, except here in response to my bad review.
There is clearly no motivation to do better by their customers just to go into damage control to avoid looking dubious and dodgy to other buyers.
I have emailed a total of 5 times now and am not impressed, no communication no solution. It is not at all a transparent operation. It’s contingent on ripping the unwitting consumer off once they have your card details. Buyer beware!
