RE: DMlights.com - Never again

Thank you for your reply. Like said in my earlier review I am Utterly disappointed. You are taking a proof of defect that I supplied you with, (photos) and you turn it into a BASELESS ACCUSATION against me of wrongful use of the product.

For Christ's sake , I spent 13,000 Euros with you and you "nickel and dime me" + calling me a liar.

I am telling you again: the Spotlight was never in use, was never installed, and was broken when it came out of it's box. I hope as many people as possible will read this ( I will share this review in a my social forums as it should be shared and published and explained for everyone to be aware of DMlights.com

Advertised delivery information meaningless

Ordered two lamps, one advertised as in stock and would be delivered within 5 days, the other had advertised delivery of 2-4 weeks. Waited a week, no delivery.

Checked on 'my account', status of first lamp showing as 'being prepared' whatever that means. Status of second lamp now saying 28th December (I think translates as forget thinking you're going to get it this year!). Used their chat facility which asked if I wanted the first lamp delivered now not when the second lamp might become available!!!

Clearly was nowhere near being delivered within 5 days as advertised even though it supposedly is in stock and 'being prepared'.

In my experience, the delivery information given by this company is simply not true.
Draw your own conclusions but I find this kind of practice far too common with some online retailers these days.

Probably some of the worst service…

Probably some of the worst service experienced online this decade. Ordered 2 lights indicated as 'in stock', 2 weeks later still no arrival. After contacting DM and waiting a week for a reply the items were out of stock. I cancelled the order and was assured 3-5 days for refund. A week later no refund and the items arrive via courier. I am now still fighting for a refund as well as having to go to the inconvenience of dropping the items at a UPS drop off. Use this company at your peril!

Bungalow refurb

I ordered 4xwall lights and 2xbattens for a kitchen diner. Delivery was very prompt and wall lights now installed meeting my expectstions fully. Kitchen/diner lights due to be installed today and if their performamce matches their sleek appearance they'll be good as well.
If I needed more lights I'd go to dmlights first.

Fantastic After Sales Support

I purchased a product almost a year back and require some warranty support which the manufacturer suggested I go back to where it was purchased from (DMlights).

Gökce Sevil (DMlights) picked up my request and followed through promptly, until I got a resolution. In that 3-4 weeks time, I was kept updated regularly along the process which really made me feel they care for the customer even after a purchase was made, and not just because they want another new sale transaction.

Big thank you from where I am in Singapore! Despite all the remote distance and time difference... you've definitely made me feel Dmlights is reliable, trustworthy, and values customers in a way that matters.

Excellent customer service

We ordered some Philips lights from DM Lights which we were very pleased with, we wanted dimmers fitted and nobody even at Philips themselves were able to advise where to get something compatible, DM Lights replied immediately after researching and delivered our dimmers without delay, excellent customer service.

Very poor service

Very poor service. I placed an order on 1 September and only received the items on 21 October, despite ordering only items described as "in stock". Emailed customer service to find out if I could cancel and they didn't reply. Eventually my goods came but delivery was delayed by a week as DM Lights provided an incomplete address despite the correct address showing on my order confirmation. Would not use again!

Good overall experience

Good service, prompt, timely and good prices. Only very slight quibble was postage and packing cost but a fairly delicate item arrived in about 3 days undamaged so you could say it was worth it.
