Faulty light and terrible customer service
We ordered 3 lights costing approx €1,537 in June 2022. They were Bover Tanit lights. One of them did not work so were sent back and we asked for a replacement. They sent the same light back, now partly damaged in transit and the light still did not work correctly. They blamed our electrician, us, anybody except them. We asked them to take the light back and to replace it. They (CEO) said we would have to send it back and they would decide if we had damaged it or not (as they say they have 99% satisfaction rate). Finally our electrician, in Jan 2023, discovered that the light has been assembled incorrectly, which is why it did not work. Our electrician had to make 4 visits in all costing us €400. We wrote to tell them but they never bothered to reply or to apologise for having messed us about for 6 months and extra costs. Shocking service.
The response on Trust Pilot from DM Lights is factually incorrect. We had to demand that they pay for the return of their faulty goods. Even though their policy says they will replace any faulty goods, they simply returned the faulty light, which now had dodo been damaged in transit. We sent video and pictures to show the problem. They said to return the light but were very sure it was electricians fault so would most probably not replace it. Our electrician then discovered that the light had been incorrectly assembled by the manufacturer. We wrote to the Mr de Meutter (CEO) on 29 Jan 2023 to tell him and to ask for €400 to cover electricians costs. He never bothered to reply. Still a shocking service from this company.
It is now 5th April 2023 and still no response from DM Lights about the terrible service. We have written to Mr de Meutter to ask him for €400 to cover the costs of the electrician and to finally discover that the lights had been put together incorrectly - but all at our costs. Never use this company !!!

Uk website not based in the uk
Uk website not based in the uk. Very misleading. Items ship from Europe and will likely need to be return to Europe in case of a problem. Plus huge shipping costs for something that should be cheap shipping in the uk. Post brexit this is a big issue. Who knows what import fees you’ll get stung for. It impressed with the lack of transparency here. Got stung before from another company with a uk website that shipped from Spain. Nothing but pain. Glad I spotted this before I ordered!

Terrible company
Terrible company. Most untrustworthy. Extremely bad customer experience. We spent over 3k EUR at their company for lights for a rennovation. Many lights were installed, without any fault made by the professional electricians, yet DM Lights blamed us for breaking the faulty lights. It took weeks for them to get THEIR supplier to test the lights, on several attempts for an update after weeks of silence, they told us it would take another few weeks to get an answer - due to staff absences at their suppliers, meaning delays in testing and fault finding. However, rather magically, they informed us immediately after a frustrating phone call, not weeks, but hours later simply blaming us at the point of installation. In short, they let the consumer front the cost for the damaged goods they send you - we now have 430 EUR of broken lights. They take no ownership, act as middlemen and all products they send you, may arrive broken, but it is at your risk. NO REFUNDS.

A very good review after a bad one...
I previously posted a bad review on dmlights about a pendant light called Belle Etoile (700 €) equipped with 2 LEDs that are integrated into the light. At first someone at dmlights told me the LEDs were not replaceable. And that triggered my bad review.
Then I received from the dmlights After Sales department confirmation and evidence that the LEDs are replaceable.
In summary the product is very nice and dmlights can be trusted.

Everything was ok
Everything was ok! Delivery on the announced date and the product was in perfect conditions.
It was just a pity that they advice me about the exact time of delivey only 15 minutes before ... so I missed them and had to go to the collecting point to pick up the parcel.

Bought an SLV horizontal pendant and…
Bought an SLV horizontal pendant and the wiring is almost impossible to see. Part of the light went out during the electricians installation. Sent them the picture of the wire and the issue and was told that I will have to send this unit back to the factory for assessment at my cost. So imagine sending a unit that cost £330 and weighs enough to charge £50 to £100 delivery to Europe just so they can check what went wrong with the light. So be careful buying from this place as they are not uk based and will get repair or warranty issues like I did. The lights are sold with 5 year warranty but no guarantee you will get that. Hence my light is with the junk in the garage. Waste of money.

Read Bad Reviews first -After Sales non existent
Please read the bad reviews first. I wish I had done this because after a number of succesful purchases and fast deliveries, I encountered rude and evasive treatment when ordering a part. What a disappointment. All light fixtures and products on this website can be ordered elsewhere AND with proper after sales service. (....even if delivery takes a little longer...)

I've ordered around 3 weeks ago a nice lamp. Knowing about the high delivery time. Today I wanted to check the status, and I couldn't find the order in my emails. I thought already that missed to order the lamp in the end.
Then I called DM Lights, the German speaking Hotline, and I had luck and got connected with Mrs Sevil, a very professional, helpful and kind employee of DM Lights. She helped me to find the order and figured out where I missed something.
