From ordering to finally installing pump, the service I received was exemplary.
On installing the pump I was amazed by its quietness and performance. I would highly recommend Pelham Pumps to anyone.

Earlier today I placed an order in error. The payment had already gone through via Paypal before I realised my mistake. I sent an email to Simon Hughes and he responded promptly and refunded my payment. Many thanks for an excellent and speedy service and apologies for the inconvenience I caused!

Pelhamp Pumps provided very useful advice in diagnosing probable reasons why my Stuart Turner pump was inoperable. Decided on using their service option. This was carried out effectively and quickly. Including postage to Pelham Pumps and return postage the overall time was 6 working days. Pump fitted and working perfectly. A very happy customer.

My Aqualisa shower processor developed a fault and I needed a new one in a hurry. I suspected that there would be lots of usable parts in the old one and never like to consign anything to landfill. I reached out to Pelham Pumps and Simon responded really quickly and said he would be interested. He offered me £40 which I thought was very fair and sent me a prepaid postage label as well. He paid me promptly and the communication backwards and forwards was prompt and very friendly and helpful. Overall a really very good experience. I’d sum it up as modern business with old-fashioned courtesy and efficiency. Many thanks.

Seals for Aqualisa A1 digital processor. Website useful as it shows pictures of the units that the seals will fit. Simon was extremely helpful when I thought that I had bought the incorrect top hats seals, replying to my email very quickly. If only all companies had the same customer care service. Thanks Simon.

Pelham pumps were absolutely wonderful and went the extra mile to help. I'd highly recommend the company and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again myself. It's very refeshing these days when you come across a company that really cares about their customers.

Update using Warranty Process - 5/1/26

Purchased an Aqualisa gravity fed processor recently online (mid November 2025) for £300. Acknowledged these are reconditioned pumps but was not expecting this to be faulty (hairline crack).

I have been encourage to complete the online feedback warranty process for a replacement so hoping this arrives shortly as the hassle it has caused is cumbersome.

I will review customer experience if the processor arrives soon, having used the process informed.

The warranty process and care shown by this company has been excellent. Item returned and 100% refund - I am pleased to say they have stood fully by their "word" and its a shame the part was faulty and no other parts available for this model. Would purchase from them again in the future and very content to change the rating to a 5. Kind regards

Excellent company. I know nothing about heating or hot water systems but I suspected that if. I am getting hot water out of my bath tap and not my shower then it could be down to my shower pump not working. Went on google found pelhampumps and it’s been straight forward since then. Explained the problem, took a picture of the pump, Simon explained what the problem may be, in non technical terms and suggest I get a local plumber to double check. Offered me a price for a replacement pump. The price was over £100 cheaper than the quote my local plumber had offered. I ordered the pump and it arrived by courier two days later, my local plumber fitted it. I waited a couple of weeks to make sure nothing was going to brake and then contacted Simon by email, who offered by trade off the cost of my new pump, which I gratefully accepted and he organised the collection by courier of my old pump and then a week later issued my trade in refund. Now I know that sounds like a complicated process, it wasn’t, it was like A,B,C. And that was down to the professionalism of Pelham pumps. I have never had a trade in off anyone for anything apart from a car, I wish when my boiler brakes somebody would offer me something. Great work guys

Fantastic advice and service from Pelham. Simon responded and guided me to the correct parts and helped with access to the guide to fit them. I was able to refit the Aqualisa shower pump and save myself a bundle.

My Stuart Turner Monsoon pump started to run on, especially after showering. Simon at Pelham Pumps passed on his expertise and it allowed quick diagnostic for the fault. I purchased a kit and fitted a new part and problem solved. Repaired by myself in 30 minutes once I had the parts and for under £70, thank you Pelham Pumps for your assistance and great service.

I emailed the company with an order for seals for a shower pump. They immediately replied to check, without prompting, if I had ordered the correct parts. I was then confident to tackle the repair knowing the parts would fit.

Ordered a starter capacitor for my salamander shower pump. Came within 4 days. Fitted and worked perfectly. Easy to use website.

I purchased a Pelham Pump online for GBP 202 to replace a shower pump. These are reconditioned pumps.

The pumps are also quite a bit cheaper than bought new, but I had two pumps, and both did not function on receipt.

A full refund is being paid, but the inconvenience of being without a shower and wasted time for the plumber wasn't worth the difference for me.

Pelham pumps have been responsive and very fair returning funds along with postage and thank them for their professional after sales service.

I made a mistake and ordered 2 rather than 1 pair of washers. No phone number but there was a contact page. Within 15 minutes of using the contact page Simon came back to me, sorted out the issue and issued a refund for the 2nd pair. Items arrived in good time and as described. The true test of a company is when things go wrong (albeit my fault) and they sort it quickly with no fuss. Definitely recommend this company and would use again without hesitation.

Placed an order at 7pm on a Monday, and followed up with a request for prompt despatch, got a mail at 8pm saying product was out of stock but offered a suitable alternative which was great, was posted the next morning and arrived at 10am Wednesday. Excellent customer service!

My Stuart Turner power pump stopped working Pelham Pumps offer a repair service second to none. Good communication, great price and fast delivery. Will definitely use again and would recommend this company.

An open and honest business
My Aqualiser digital shower pump controller unit (Black), gave up after 8 years of use, the pump stopped working but still controlled the water temperature under gravity feed only - no pump assistance. A Google search brought me to PelhamPumps among others. I ordered a refurbished pump controller (Black), direct from the company and I can only describe the response as rapid.
The replacement pump duly arrived well packaged and with a set of installation instructions. The pump installed and working as it should, I was disappointed to find that it dripped when not in use, however being an electro mechanical device components sometimes go out of alignment in transportation. I decided to leave it for a few days just to see if the issue would resolve itself, to no avail.

Emailed the company and explained the issue and also explained that I could not just send the pump back for a replacement due to fact we cannot be without showering facilities. I received a very quick response with a positive way forward and an apology. Unfortunately there were no Black cased pumps available but Pink cased were available, latest iteration and greater pump pressure. I agreed to purchase the Pink cased pump and installed it with no issues and returned the initial offering for a refund.

I highly recommend PelhamPumps, excellent communication and geared to positive outcomes.

I found Pelhampumps because I needed to replace my shower pump. My Salamander pump failed and was beyond repair and I needed a cost effective replacement. Their website showed a range of different reconditioned pumps which are much lower in cost than new ones. I’d never thought of using a reconditioned pump and had never heard of Pelhampumps before. I wanted some reassurance about the quality of the reconditioned pumps they sell before going ahead and buying from them.

My email was answered swiftly by the boss and he explained that the pumps like the Stuart Turner range used brass impellers instead of the plastic ones that Salamander used. Because of this he is able to fully recondition them. He was even able to offer a 60 day return in case I had any problems and was not be satisfied. The quality of his reply gave me the confidence to go ahead and buy a Stuart Turner Monsoon 2 bar pump.

It arrived on time, was really well packed and came with the full installation instructions. As I was going to fit this myself I found it vital to read and understand these instructions. The push fittings and flexi-pipes supplied with the pump worked a treat and I used Screwfix to buy a couple of the recommended JG Speedfit fittings to make small changes to the pipework. I did encounter a small issue when installing the pump and I cannot praise Pelhalpumps enough for their advice and support which they gave me to successfully complete the installation.

I’m really happy I found Pelhampumps and have written this review because I believe in sharing and highlighting positive experiences. Whenever really positive customer service and workmanship is found I think it’s worth sharing that with Trustpilot. I can recommend Pelhampumps without any hesitation as a reliable and trusted company. I hope this can give people who read this review the same reassurance and confidence that I experienced.
