As a person who intends on learning every day until I leave this planet, and as an electronic musician, I have seen everything under the sun by way of people who want to feed your ego as an “artist” - or make you feel unworthy - so that you will purchase their services and fulfill your destiny as the GOAT 🐐 of whatever your thing happens to be.
In the highly poseur-adjacent world of clubbing and DJs there are TONS of con artists. PTDJA, on the contrary, are ethical and professional.
Compared to their competitors in the same segment that I know of, (and I know of many), as well as a plethora of indirect competitors, they are reasonably priced, and reasonable in their promises to you.
What you learn quickly as a musician or aspiring artist is that nobody is going to do anything for you. If you want something, you have to rely on yourself. There are no shortcuts. There are no favors or rewards for a being good person. Nobody cares. You are a number.
Considering my generally cynical outlook I have been impressed with my limited experience at PTDJA. Limited because when I signed up I had little interest in being a DJ, specifically. I haven’t completed too much of the course work. As a live electronic musician I was curious and simply wanted to know more.
They have never held that against me. I have always felt included, to the extent I made myself available, and encouraged to participate more. Even after I had paid and my course ended, the relationships continued and the possibility to participate in many of their activities was continued as a courtesy, which was that was highly appreciated.
The course work is conducted by some of the biggest names in the business. Pete Tong is a legend of course. (Have you seen the movie? Great movie 🍿 but I digress.
They are the real deal. Will they make you a superstar DJ/producer? No. You will need to do that, if that’s what you want.
You also need to learn how you learn, which is not a criticism of PTDJA, just practical advice. If you know what you know, and know what you don’t, you can get a lot out of this experience.
They will provide you with a very fair deal on tools in video courses and through in-person feedback. They conduct themselves like the serious, good faith operators that they are.
They do this respectfully and without leveraging anyone’s hopes and dreams in a twisted way just to make a quick buck, which you see a lot in this market vertical. Best of luck to them. With thanks 🙏🏽 Sean Jones / Mixmastermelonhead / 2LuzCruz Productions.
I definitely benefit from
The whole Pete tong. I don’t utilize it as much but it’s a great tool to use and learn from.
The networking on here is amazing
Pete Tong Academy help me a lot about the DJ lifestyle, transition between djs and a lot of stuff like that ( set time opening ,headlining, closing)… Best school and coach in the industry scene . Thank you so much , I won time ❤️

PTDJA stands out as a truly forward-thinking institution created and curated by real industry leaders who understand what artists need to grow and succeed. The academy has built a strong and supportive community where creativity and collaboration thrive, making it an inspiring environment for both beginners and developing professionals.

Students gain practical knowledge and skills that prepare them for real-world artistic careers. The campus itself is top-tier, offering a professional and motivating space to learn, create, and connect.
One of the most impressive aspects of PTDJA is the number of opportunities it provides for artists to break through and showcase their work through activities, competitions & more. Overall, PTDJA Academy is an invaluable platform for emerging artists and a powerful stepping stone for anyone serious about building a future in the creative world.
Hi there,
I love the content and everything you’re offering in the academy, but I’ve often feel a bit lost in it and it’s UX of the platform.
I’ve never really used thread based platform such as discord and etc. Maybe that’s why I’m having problems sometimes to navigate on it.
Having been in the music business for over 30 years I feel that there is always more than you can learn. Such a great and well organised course for DJ and music productions. I would highly recommend this. Such great value too. Paul (Still-Life)
Finally a hands on professional guide to become a pro in this industry.
Trusted tutors with decades of experience, a great handy platform, very well structured courses with the content so well broken down that it’s easy to take in and at own rhythm. But above all an excellent community where you don’t feel alone in your journey anymore.
We couldn’t recommend the PTDJA course enough to anyone looking to progress their career in this industry. Both the production and dj courses have so much depth and importance wether you’re a beginner or an experienced dj/producer you will benefit from this content.
The Pete Tong DJ Academy is far more than a typical online DJ course It is a refined and inspiring learning experience built on real industry expertise
Led by Pete Tong the academy combines technical precision with artistic mindset You learn not only how to mix with confidence but how to shape energy read a crowd and build your own musical identity
Importantly it is not just for DJs It is equally valuable for producers The academy connects DJ performance with music production showing how arrangement structure and sound design influence the dance floor and your career
The lessons are clear structured and professionally produced making complex ideas accessible Whether you are a beginner DJ an experienced selector or a producer wanting to elevate your performance perspective this platform delivers real depth
A powerful academy for artists who are serious about long term growth and professionalism
Great tutorials, scene knowledge and also opportunities to get eyes (and ears!) into your music and artistry.
Being able to be heard by top djs and invited to participate in events is also very important.
This is very usefull to get feedbacks from established dj and producer, that what I love @ PTDJA.
Lot of opportunities there. Super cool!
I’m truly happy to have become part of this amazing community. Since joining, I’ve gained new friends, valuable knowledge, and I continue to grow and develop every single week.
This academy never stands still — it constantly evolves, introducing new opportunities and resources for aspiring DJs and community members. It creates real chances for students to grow, showcase their talent, and move confidently toward bigger goals and greater achievements.
I’m grateful to be part of such an inspiring and supportive environment.
Learning some bits of history about the DJaying lore through the life experiences of the diffrent DJ teachers is great it adds to the formation.
I like also how the learning process is well escalated and guided. You need to be patient but you just know that following the guided steps will be paying off at the end.
I been an amazing tool for me to get better everyday
