I ordered chainsaw parts from Petleys in early January, they took immediate payment but have not received parts or communication. I've tried calling many times and emailing (bounced back). Their website was updated a few days ago redirecting me to Mowers2Go (has same address and tel phone number) - no reply. This is also same address & tel as Acle Garden Machinery, (Norwich Rd, Acle, Norwich NR13 3BY).
I see today that Petleys website has been suspended, this does not bode well for my order, money or associated companies - beware.

Only just got round to using this hedge trimmer I bought last autumn. A Stihl. It cuts through privet effortlessly. Very happy with customer service who kept me informed of inevitable delayed delivery and gave me an upgrade when they realised the model I’d ordered wouldn’t be available for a bit longer.

Placed order 9th August. 30th August, not delivery or communication. Chased 30th August and was told by the supplier they were chasing an ETA. 7th August, no communication - refund requested 4th September - email ignored and no refund. Tried calling on multiple occasions, no answer.

As a first time customer, I was a little apprehensive when the price quoted for the Stihl Hedge Trimmer was one of the lowest online Was it going to be too good to be true, thankfully all was well.
Before placing the order I phoned Petleys with a query and actually spoke to a human being rather than a unintelligent 'Robot' which all too often is the case with large impersonal companies!
When ordering the product it was clear that the item was not in stock but was on a 3+ day delivery. This was not a problem as I was in no rush and it arrived a few days later.
I was particularly impressed with the after sales service. I had a query regarding warranty and sent off the query using the online form and set up my account. The account allowed me to track the query and was easy to use, in particular, a named person was provided who dealt with the query from the start to successful conclusion. Intelligent and efficient use of technology.
I will have no hesitation in purchasing further items from Petleys/Mowers2Go again
