BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE! I ordered $315 worth of fish to be delivered. Petzone bagged 11 Tiger Barbs in one bag and they arrived dead and dying. In another bag there was a dead silver dollar fish and the barely living Silver Dollars had melted fins and were dying. They put 5 Bala Sharks in one bag and they arrived with red fins and also died. The Clown Loaches had ich and also died. Petzone promised to refund the dead fish then ignored me for 2 months. I have been battling a chargeback with them & my bank for another 2 months. Petzone has a great selection but totally dropped the ball on my shipment and refuse to honor their promise to refund. They have spent more time arguing with me then making it right. They need to be reported for animal cruelty if they think shipping 11 fish in one small bag to a different state that had to be air shipped overnight is acceptable. These fish suffered a slow death. The bags were all leaking water and the fish were in brown cloudy water. I am really disappointed that Petzone thinks it is acceptable to rip off people who are out of state. I would not buy from this place they are amateurs. I will find a way to hold them accountable once I find the correct agency to report them to. Not 1 single fish survived. Petzone started blaming me on the dead fish. I have kept fish for 43 years. I raised fish at a hatchery in Escondido Ca and bagged and shipped to all Petco’s and Petsmarts in the 90’s. I have 5 aquariums from 300 gallon to 20 gallon. I have a quarantine tank that I run fallow for 2 plus months and treat for ich, bacterial & fungus infections after each use. Petzone needs to stop with the excuses and refund my money.

Dawn has been finessing us left and right with her sob stories. There is no way possible the fish would all die like that over a 4 week period. The tank parameters likely aren't right, hence the fish ended up dying over time. We've been in this business for too long and understand how to ship very well. Dawn is a complete "Karen," yes we used that labeling. We were short one fish (she ordered a set quantity of barbs, we had just 3 out of 4 and she gave an earful to one of our staff over why she ordered 4 and made everyone feel belittled with her condescending behavior via phone and text. And she is so vindictive and continiously writes multiple bad reviews, one after the other. We can't please everyone and are fellow hobbyists helping to grow this hobby and would never screw anyone over, so why would you want to finesse and screw us over? Sellers, beware of Dawn. You've been warned.

Petzone is my go-to fish store

Petzone is my go-to fish store. I’ve purchased twice online and I’ve been to the store so many times and every time I’ve loved it. The personnel are very knowledgeable and always help me out. I’m a beginner first time pet fish owner and I must say, I’ve learned a lot from Petzone guys. Shout out to Pascal, Gerard & Sean for their awesome customer service! They went out of their way to give me a call when the fish I really really wanted was back in stock. And congrats to Roger for having a great neat store with healthy fish. Thank you guys

Quality, communication, and fast!

I ordered 3 Half Banded Spiny Eels. PetZone sent me an order confirmation immediately. Then they sent order updates with specific shipping info. The order was processed with in 24 hours. My Eels arrived very healthy and they acclimated beautifully. Highly recommend Pet Zone Tropical Fish for online fish orders.

Quick shipping, healthy fish and great customer service

I was worried about ordering fish online, especially since geographically I'm located far from Pet Zone. However all of my fish arrived safe and sound in great health. Pet Zone was prompt with processing my order and kept me informed of the status and shipping. Some fish were missing from the first delivery due to a packing error. Correcting this problem was hassle free with Pet Zone and their customer service was helpful and friendly, promptly resolving the mistake.

Not buying from them ever again!

They sent me a wrong item even though packing list states the correct one with hopes I won't notice it. Explanation was the item was not in stock (not according to their website) and they sent a different one instead. Ate communicating with support they refunded the item price but not shipping I payed for. So, I lost shipping money even if it was 100% their fault. Shady practice, stay away!
