Terrible quality marble, almost all stained and cracked, expensive shipping, poor customer service
I ordered 40 pieces of white Thassos marble 30.5 x 30.5 and only 10 were usable (barely), the rest were of incredibly poor quality. Of these 10 supposedly good pieces three broke when the specialist installed them, and two cracked in the first two weeks after installment. I received the marble very dirty and only when I washed it during construction I saw the defects (stains and cracks). It was a pain to go all the way to their showroom outside Bucharest to change them. Staff was as unhelpful and possible, in denial of the garbage they sell and the problems and inconvenience they cause customers. I was only allowed to change 14 and the new and supposedly good ones were still crappy. I will never buy from Piatra Online again. (I previously left another one-star review on Trust Pilot which did not show up in the search results for the product when I doublechecked today ).
Din 40 de placi, 30 au fost mizerabile (crapate si patate). Din cele 10 relativ bune, 3 s-au crapat la montare si 2 dupa montare la 2 sapt. Placile sunt livrate murdare ca sa nu observi calitatea proasta la primire, ci doar dupa ce le speli. Personalul este instructat sa faca viata cat mai dificila cand vrei sa le schimb si ofera la schimb placi aproape la fel de proaste. Trebuie sa te duci personal sa le schimbi, la mama dracului in afara Bucurestiului pe langa Otopeni, practic clientul subventioneaza cheltuielile de transport cauzate de calitatea proasta a produselor. Showroomul este foarte frumos si elegant, dar marfa si relatia cu clientii sunt o bataie de joc. Nu m-ar mira daca o buna parte din opiniile de 4 si 5 stele sunt plantate de angajati si prieteni.

I am fine with the received product and it so happens that is similar in purpose and use, but for further orders we need to make sure the exact customer order is fulfilled.

Late deliveries and poor quality
Late deliveries, poor granite quality (very different from what was proposed), good team for granite mounting
Pretty fair
I was receiving my order with almost 20% missing parts. The company compensate by completing the order with 40% lower price for the missing parts. Pretty fair, considering that is difficult to find and prove the issue.

Great products, horrible overall experience
We are rebuilding a house and decided to use Piatra Online as our supplier for all the stone needed for our project. That included more than 5 tones of stone, different products.
We worked with them a few years ago and the experience was flawless. This time we were not so lucky.
The products themselves are amazing, beautiful and high quality.
The entire experience with the company on the other hand was terrible.
We placed the order 2 months in advance to make sure that everything arrives on time.
After we payed the products we stopped receiving any kind of update. We had to call countless times to receive any information. Each time the sales agent promised to call back but never did.
First issue: The sales agent confirmed the products arrived and are in the warehouse, set a specific date for the transport. Since we had so many tones of stone we had to bring an entire team to help us carry the products.
Nobody delivered anything on the day of the transport. Nobody answered our calls. This situation repeated for almost 10 days. Every single day we payed 20 people to stay and wait for the transport from Piatra Online that never came.
At the end we fixed the situation by traveling personally to the showroom. The delivery team never received any request from the sales agent to deliver the products.
After our intervention they sent the transport on the spot.
Second issue: The sales agent explained that they do not have a truck available to fit all the products so they will split the transport in 2 (of course we had to pay ourselves for both transports, even if we only had one order). They promised that the second part of the transport will come the next day, first thing in the morning.
Of course it did not...we waited again for 3 days, calling every couple of hours and asking for the agent assigned to the order to help us. She never did. We fixed the situation only by escalating to the manager.
After this part was finished we already had a 2 weeks delay.
Third issue: The last part of the order was for a special piece. They did not respect the delivery time for it either. They modified the delivery date that we had written in the contract without ever contacting us and informing us. Again we had to travel to the showroom 2 times in order to fix this.
The interaction with Piatra Online costed us a lot of money (literally). And please allow me to emphasize the fact that each time they did confirm that the products arrived and are in their warehouse. The problem was simply that the sales agent forgot to send them and never informed us.
We completely reconstructed a 280square meters house for our project and we had to work with countless suppliers. I am sorry to state that Piatra Online was by far our worst experience. And it's a shame, since their products are great. But the sales agent lacks experience, dedication and professionalism.
