Whenever I had a question or problem
Whenever I had a question or problem, the support team was on it.
Last week I was trying to have a link imported. They let me know it was the wrong link for what I was trying to do. Then they helped me find the correct link so they could import it. After that everything worked great.
Also the response time was fast. Great job Pictory team!

Good Concept, But Too Many Glitches to Use Professionally
I purchased this program for business use, but my experience has been extremely frustrating. The premium voiceover feature frequently produces glitches and strange noises that make videos sound unprofessional.
When I contacted support, I was repeatedly told to use workarounds like removing punctuation or adjusting spacing. Not only is this unreasonable for a paid product, but these suggestions didn’t fix the issue.
In addition, despite the platform advertising access to a large library of photos and videos, it often generates the same images repeatedly or selects visuals that are completely unrelated to the content. This defeats the purpose of the feature and forces you to manually search for appropriate media anyway.
I also experienced problems with settings not saving properly. Despite sending screenshots, screen recordings, and detailed explanations multiple times, support kept asking the same questions without providing a real solution. Response times were slow, often taking weeks, and each reply repeated the same troubleshooting steps.
At one point, they sent me a sample video to prove the feature worked, but it clearly contained the same issues I'd been reporting.
To make matters worse, I couldn’t cancel my subscription directly and had to email support just to stop auto-renewal.
I ultimately stopped using the program despite having time left on my subscription. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this product for professional or business use.

The support team is excellent! Not only their AI chatbot that is very helpful but the real people.
The platform is easy to use but the AI image and video generator isnr very good at all from my experience. Some major improvements are needed in this area.

From what you described, it sounds like you would like to use prompts to generate still images with AI and then turn those images into videos inside Pictory, especially when the standard visuals are not a good fit. Did I understand your idea correctly?
The reason I ask is because we currently have a feature called AI Studio that allows you to generate visuals with AI, which sounds very similar to what you are describing. It may be that this feature is not visible in your account or that you are using a different workflow.

Absolute shit show of a product
Absolute shit show of a product. Signed up for a trial and created a video (spending a lot of time doing it). Was pretty happy with it wanted to download and use it. It said I need to upgrade to get it without watermarks, which was fair enough. I happily upgraded, and the second they took payment, all my work, my branding details EVERYTHING was gone, it was like starting from scratch again. Their stupid ai bot was no use and totally condescending in it's replies and eventually when I get it get a real person to help, they say it will take 1 business day. I've literally lost a whole morning to this and they want to take a day to fix it, absolutely awful product, don't go near it.

May I ask if before generating the video you are using the filter inside Scene Settings? When you go to Select Visuals, you can filter by category and industry before generating the video. This helps the system choose visuals that are much more relevant for your content.
About the points or credits. Credits are only used when creating avatars or generating AI images inside the Studio. Regular video creation should not deduct points. If you are seeing points deducted for normal video generation, that would be an error and we would like to check it.
