Flying j in Childress Texas charged me…
Flying j in Childress Texas charged me ann extra $151 on a credit card I used at the pump to buy $45 in gas.
I cancelled the credit card, disputed the charge and will NEVER buy anything at flying j again. Watch out for card readers on their pumps or staff using credit cards for other charges. Big scam alert.
I called the manager who said the charge was “ a security feature”. What a crock.

PILOT…A DUMP!!
I just saw a TV commercial in which Pilot/Flying J looked like paradise. Reality? Pilot is a nasty, filthy, truck stop. Don’t be fooled. This is not a place you want to stop with your family.
10:00 am 08/24/2024 at 224 Daniel Payne…
10:00 am 08/24/2024 at 224 Daniel Payne Dr Birmingham Al I had a very poor customer service experience with the cashier about a shower. When I reported to management the cashier kept yelling and laughing at me while management said nothing. Once I addressed it management went off at me about what they go through with most truckers. It’s obvious they both aren’t fit for this line of work. This level of down right aggressive meanness and incompetence towards customers who already have a stressful job is uncalled for. Drivers should be greeted with pleasantry not this poor behavior.
Worst experience in florida
St. Augustine store #626. Be prepared to get a tetanus shot before you have to park there. The whole place is covered in garbage. The showers are in severe need of repair and there is no food after 8pm.
Shower line
This is some kind of mockery of drivers. 25 people in line for a shower

Flying J Avoca IA
I was at the Flying J in Avoca IA today and had an issue with my trailer in the parking lot… The maintenance guy Anthony was in the parking lot and came over to help.. He was absolutely wonderful helping me solve my issue and getting me back on the road… Thank you Anthony!!!!

The 2 young men (Bryan and I think Dalan) working the registers were amazing! Very helpful and friendly!! They deserve a raise fir outstanding customer service! This was pilot 0049 Oak Grove KY
Pilot stations 440 and 50 off I-71…
Pilot stations 440 and 50 off I-71 claim to be RV friendly. I have a 36’ class A towing a Jeep. Those stations are way ro tight to get into. That’s not RV friendly.
Poor Verification Policies
Company does not verify identification when opening charge accounts which leads to identity theft and then flying J goes after legitimate businesses who have no knowing of fraud. Terrible company, go somewhere else at all costs.
You people better do not scan my D.L. NO WAY!!t them scan…
You people better do not let them scan your driver's license for a pack of cigarettes this is the worst thing ever they're going to get hacked and it goes all your information no one has a right to scan your driver license but the police
pilot store in Gila bend
This company has a pilot store in Gila Bend and it was ridiculous on the weekend of Mother’s Day! 5/12/24 all the woman’s stalls were out of order except for two and there were long lines of women holding to go to the restroom. The management there did not even care when I complained about putting an order in to do repairs but that store makes a lot of money with all those traveling customers passing by to consume and use the restroom. Get with it management! We are customers too!
Go At Your Own Risk
I have been reading several of your reviews here. I worked for Pilot/Flying J 103 Honda Blvd Pell City, Alabama for three months in their maintenance dept., and I can confirm the unfair labor practices. The managers do all they can to antagonize the hell out their employees, I turned to hate that goddamned company and it's snarky assed people very quickly. They have no respect for their workers, they treated me very disrespectfully, and this is in addition to the fact that they are the bar none filthiest, skankiest, most disease ridden establishment I had ever seen; from truckers leaving full gallon jugs of urine in the trash cans, to syringes also, to people literally smearing excrement on the walls of the restroom stalls.
I am now completely retired [THANK GOD!], and I am also disabled now. I am 68 years of age now, and Pilot/Flying J ranks as the second worse company I have ever been employed by, I am even ashamed to have ever been associated with such rancid, narcissistic people.
And when it comes to narcissism, they are MARINATED in it!
THE worse company was WKW Erbsloe not far from Pilot's location. It was a cross between a early 20th century sweatshop, and WWII Nazi concentration camp. I have never been so grateful to get away from these hellish elements and leave that God-forsaken state.
RV Driver bitched at by boy w/a gun
RV Driver. Stopped at Flyingj, Tolison Arizona, to dump tanks, and gather a few supplies. Credit card reader wasn't working, the dump door was open but, I'm not a thief so I went inside to pay for the dump as I shopped for my supplies. A little over $125 later I get back out to actually use the rv dump. That took about 10 minutes, there's no water available, reducing the value to near zero as then I had to drive to yet another location so I could flush the tank and get rid of the odor. Just as I finished and was getting in to drive away, some teenager looking child wearing a gun and a Security vest ran over to me and started whinning and complaining about me parking my rv at 1 of the 3 dump stations there, the other 2 were empty so it wasn't like I held anybody up. I'll put more business toward Love's now because of this, maybe eventually I can stop using Pilot and Flying J completely.
Shelly @ the 435 & Front street Pilot is the best!
There is an employee at Kansas City Pilot truck stop on 435 & Front street that has to be one of the kindest and friendliest ladies I’ve ever met. Her name is Shelly and thanks to her, Pilot has earned a customer for life. The front street location is not the newest or nicest trucks around but I will drive 20 miles out of my way to give them my business. I just enjoy speaking with good hearted and genuinely kind people who seem to always be in a good mood. This lady is always in a good mood and she goes out of her way to help others feel good as well. Tonight, I just stopped there for a cup of coffee & realized I left my wallet at the house. She didn’t hesitate when she found out I had no money. She reached for her own purse and bought my coffee for me. Many people would have likely told me to go ahead & pay for it next time or just told me to not worry about it. But Shelly, who likely makes only a fraction of what I earn didn’t hesitate; she got her own money out of her purse and paid for my coffee. She didn’t make me feel like a loser; instead, she made he feel like family. She is just so pleasant & she shares stories with customers & takes time to listen which is becoming pretty unusual these days. She’s just always in a good mood and she seems to make everyone around her being a better mood so kind so pleasant so easy to talk to. Pilot has no idea how lucky they are to have her working there. I hope they promote her to Mgr. or if she wins the lottery or something she certainly deserves it. She you like most people you meet today- she actually listens when you speak to her. I
Poor experience
Poor experience. I have been fueling at a particular one9 location for over 3yrs and without a warning pilot decides to change the way they do driver rewards making me lose almost 4.00 in rewards. Called customer service and agent was not sympatgetic period
# 657 - Amazing staff & management
Was at this store for a few days ... staff was always friendly no matter the time. Fresh and hot food made throughout the day. Bathrooms and showers were always clean and had hot water. Used the washer and dryer once. Great movies on all day and night in the lounge. Enjoyed the ham and cheese sandwich. They also had a variety of souvenirs.
Customer Service training is needed
SC-I 95/exit (5)-Employee attitude was HORRIBLE. Her tone was disrespectful, harsh, and abrupt. I purchased lottery tickets and then cigarettes and was told harshly to show ID. I paid for the cigarettes and she walked away while I was asking her for a reciept and a bag. This was very upsetting, so I left but had to go back in the store again to ask for a reciept. I will not return nor will I recommend my family and friends to do business in that store. I also recommend customer service training for that employee
Dont ever work for pilot...they will…
Dont ever work for pilot...they will not treat you fairly...a almost 10 year employee was fired for a 48 dollar misshap that they could not find any evidence of anything wrong...but fired a flawless employee with a almost spotless 9 year record..corprate said the computer said to fire her...Ai bullcrap
